Chapters 20. Aaron's Search.

Mike is not a man who easily falls in love, what else in women who blatantly bother him. However, towards Lilyana, he felt something different. There are things that always tickle his heart every time he meets a girl who deserves to be considered as a nephew.

Mike initially tries to deny it, but Lilyana's shadow deepens her. Somehow their relationship is getting closer.

To be honest Mike does need someone who is able to take his mind off the bitter past, and he finds it in Lilyana.

"What are you doing here?" lilyana asked with glaring eyes. The girl was surprised to find Mike suddenly coming to her room without notice. The reason, the man is known to go with other islanders to buy staple materials.

"You're back? Aren't you coming with Aunty Merry and coming back tomorrow?" ask Lilyana.

"No. I finished the job quickly because I had to do something." Mike answered ambiguously.

"Solve what?" Lilyana frowned.

Mike did not answer. He just looked at Lilyana deeply and then approached her slowly.

"Mike?" Lilyana was about to take a step back, but Mike immediately restrained the girl. With one short gesture, the 37-year-old landed his kiss on Lilyana's lips.

Lilyana gasped with glaring eyes. "M mi mike!" exclaim the girl while releasing herself. "Whatchu mean? You think you can see—"

"I like you, Lilyana!" Cut Mike out of the blue.

Hearing the confession, Lilyana gave a small laugh. "Don't joke Mike, I don't need a joke like that!" Despite laughing but the girl's eyes stared hard at Mike.

"I'm not kidding, Lily!" mike is serious.

Lilyana grunts. "After saying I'm a bully's little boy, now you're expressing love? You think I believe!" the girl was fierce.

Mike hunchback. His disappointment was present to cover himself. What's he supposed to do? Why Lilyana could not believe her confession, when clearly she said it in earnest.

"What do I have to do to make you believe?" ask Mike.

Lilyana was silent. He himself was confused to answer. Deep down inside Lilyana, she actually believed Mike's words. But I don't know why there's something he's afraid of.

Mike again approached Lilyana and squeezed her body in the girl's closet. He then put his forehead on Lilyana's forehead. He stayed for a while in that position.

Slowly but surely, Mike came back to Lilyana's face, and this time Lilyana did not avoid it at all. As if hypnotized, the girl receives a friendly pagutan done by Mike.

Lilyana's welcome convinced Mike that the girl had accepted her love.

Two police cars had just left when Aaron arrived home. The man seemed very panicked to learn that his sister Estelle and her best friend, Laura, disappeared after returning home from school.

Once news from his mother, Vivian, Aaron lamgsung took a flight at that time to the homeland.

Seeing her son's return, Vivian cried. The woman hugged Aaron tightly while saying Estelle's name.

"Estelle will be fine, ma'am," said Aaron trying to calm his heart. He invited his mother into the house and sat in the living room.

It was there that Vivian told about the chronology of events before Estelle and Laura died. According to the police, they found no clues at all. CCTV at the bus stop used by the two girls has long been damaged.

"If they can't find Estelle and Laura, let me go find her, Mom! I will also continue the search for Lilyana!" aaron said firmly.

Vivian shook her head. "Searching for one person is already at risk, son, what else is looking for the three of them. I don't want you to get hurt!"

Aaron held both shoulders. "I'm a man and I can take care of myself, ma'am. Not with the three of them. Just pray that I can find all three of them at once. Yes, Ma?" said Aaron.

Vivian took her breath for a moment, then nodded her head. He hugged the son as tightly as possible.

Before actually leaving, Aaron asks Vivian to evacuate first to the place of one of their relatives. While he checked several clues and newspapers that contained news about the loss of the sister.

"Estelle and Laura always come home together. Me and the others sometimes waited at the stop together, but that day I didn't take any extra lessons and the other friends brought their own vehicles." Answer one of Estelle's classmates.

Aaron locked up the answer and thanked him. To the school guard and security, Aaron asked a few short questions. Only then did he go to the stop, the last place where Estelle and Laura were suspected of being.

It is true what the mother said earlier, that the CCTV at the stop was damaged. Even on the streets around it there is no CCTV. Aaron tries to follow where the bus is going on foot then records it. Not to forget, he also recorded the entire bus schedule.

"Estelle and Laura came home at six in thirty minutes and the bus came in at six in thirty-five minutes" Aaron murmured. The man seemed to be thinking of something, before then a small shriek. It seems he knows where to go.

"Preparation is complete, Mr. Alexander," Hilda told Alexander, who had just arrived at the container warehouse in the harbor.

"How many?" ask Alexander.

"Seven people, at the request of Mr. Marcel." Hilda answered back.

Alexander then ordered his men to open the container of the ship to be sent.

When the chest opened, seven girls lay there helplessly. Some people in between were seen fainting due to being accidentally checked for alcoholic beverages. Alexander narrowed his eyes, when he saw two girls in school uniforms there.

"Take off their uniforms and burn! Don't be stupid, no one can know their identity, not even Marcel!" alexander said coldly.

Hilda apologized and directly tore off their clothes. He asked one of his colleagues for a piece of clothing and immediately put the two girls on their bodies.

"Close! Make sure the brenggseek man is satisfied with it!"

Hilda nodded her head. Alexander also left the place to go to the factory warehouse not far from there. The factory he owned was a textile factory, but only a few people knew that there was a warehouse of drugs terlarraang inside.

From that warehouse, the main source of the Dereck family's coffers of money.

Aaron frowned when he found that none of the bus managers were willing to meet him. Aaron was not even allowed to enter when he said the destination came to the bus manager's office.

"Our leader is not in place, sir." It was just a sentence he got there. Not giving up, Aaron decided to find himself the bus driver who should have arrived at the stop.

Aaron believes it is true that the bus driver actually saw the incident that happened to Estelle and Laura, because the distance of their loss with the arrival of the bus is not far. At a minimum, the bus dashcam can be checked.

"Sir, have you ever seen these two girls?" asked Aaron without further ado as soon as he found the bus driver.

The driver looked at him and shook his head. "No."

"When you get to Terminal 788, do you see anything weird there? How's it going in that place?" ask Aaron later.

"Sepy. No one was waiting at the stop, so I didn't stop the bus" he replied.

"So, you didn't see anything at all?" Aaron convinced the driver.

"No. It's yes, I have to go out again" he said as it passed. However, Aaron hurriedly prevented.

"Sir, can I see a dashcam on your bus?" ask Aaron.

"I'm sorry, I can't. We can't show it to just anyone. After all, the dashcam was checked by the police and found nothing." The driver who began to look uncomfortable finally left Aaron just like that.

Aaron followed and got on the bus to go home.

He sat in the back seat close to the window. Aaron did not realize at all that the driver would occasionally notice himself through the rearview mirror.
