Chapter 3. Foreign Men.

After going through quite a debate with Leo and Anna, Lilyana finally agreed to stay there for some time. In order not to be suspected by the local residents, the couple told them that Lilyana was one of Anna's nieces who came from abroad.

"For Lily" said Luffy, a Leo milkman.

Lilyana nodded her head cheerfully, while receiving three bottles of cow milk from her. "Thank you, Luffy," Lilyana said.

"Back of love." The two are seen talking briefly, before Luffy returns to pedal his bike and continues the journey.

Today was exactly two weeks Lilyana lived there. The girl managed to blend in well without arousing the suspicions of the local people. Luckily, the figure of Leo who is so respected makes the citizens reluctant to harass Lilyana, what else the girl is known to be very kind and friendly.

Lilyana tried her hardest to be a cheerful person in front of everyone. However, this contrast was inversely proportional when he was already in his room alone.

Lilyana doesn't know until when she should continue to be here, but clearly, when the time comes she will leave Leo and Anna. That girl can't keep living depending on them.

Week by week passed. Lilyana has now gotten used to following the routine of Leo and Anna, from starting to take care of their plantation, harvesting it, and selling it to the market. For the last thing, Lilyana as much as possible hid her face using a hat and mask. Luckily, no one suspected him.

"Son, please bring me a new bag of fruit!" pinta Leo is busy serving some buyers. They're both. This time Leo chose not to sell his fruits to the market, but to open his own yard on the side of the highway. Lilyana also smiled and thanked him, although in her heart she sympathized with Leo and Anna who had no children at all.

Anna gave birth to a baby boy thirty years ago, but died less than a month after contracting the virus. Since then, Anna has never been pregnant. All the ways had done both of them to get offspring, but the results were always nil.

Leo and Anna are sincere and choose to make their marriage happy in their own way.

It was getting late in the afternoon, Leo decided to close his wares and return home.

"Thankfully, there are not many fruits left," Lilyana said happily.

"This is all thanks to your help" said Leo as he stroked Lilyana's hair gently. Compared to before, today's trading is much more in demand. Maybe because there was Lilyana there. Understandably, this is the first time Leo is selling here with Lilyana, because usually they will sell in the market.

While Leo and Lilyana were busy tidying up the merchandise, a luxurious black car entered the gas station. A man got out of the car to refuel.

"Shitta!" screeched at the man, when he learned the refueling hose was jammed.

Before long the fuel was out of there and smoothly filled the tank of the luxury car.

"This gas station is old, and the only one this village has." Leo reopened his voice. "I rarely see people like you here. Where are you from?" Leo kindly asked the man's origin.

"We're from the city!" replied the cold man. Very obvious he did not want to be invited to pleasantries by Leo.

Leo understood, he closed his mouth and focused on holding the hose.

The man dressed in black, looked around the gas station and stopped at the figure of a girl cleaning her trading table.

Right at that moment, a breeze suddenly came flying the hat the girl was wearing.

The man frowned. Although the girl's face was still covered by a mask, the girl's facial lines still looked very familiar.

When the man was about to step up, Leo's voice interrupted him again. It turned out that he had finished helping refuel.

"Please continue your journey," said Leo kindly. He even rejected the offer of money that the man had given him.

Without saying thank you, the man got back in the car.

Along with that, Leo walked over to Lilyana. At the same time, the black car made it past Leo and moved slowly towards Lilyana's place.

Lilyana who was twisting her hair suddenly fell silent, as the black car paused before her.

The car glass slowly opened wide, to show a figure of a man that Lilyana can still recognize until this moment.

Lilyana believes the man now sitting in the steering wheel is the man who had come after her that night. He was one of the men of the pembvnvh.

Lilyana's body shook violently. In order to avoid the probing gaze of the man, he pretended to drop the hairband he was holding, as well as take out the hat that was scattered on the asphalt.

Just as the stranger was about to descend, Leo had already appeared from there.

"Can I help you again, sir?" Unsuspecting, Leo asked the black-clothed man a question.

The man gasped in surprise and shook his head. Without saying anything, he left them both.

As soon as she saw the car had left, Lilyana suddenly breathed a sigh of relief. However, still the girl was worried in case the man returned here.

Looks like Lilyana has to be careful for the sake of Leo and Anna's safety.
