Chapters 2. Kindness to Lilyana.

After waiting for almost a day, Lilyana's eyes finally opened. The first thing the girl saw when her eyes were open was a colourfully painted wooden ceiling with unique chandeliers in the shape of threads. Not only that, he also found some typical home furniture and a wooden cabinet right in front of him.

Lilyana's surprised not a bitch. Instead of wet and dirty soil, he found his body dry with new warm clothes. He was also lying on a soft bed with an old wooden couch.

Lilyana's heart rumbled. Bad things suddenly seemed to fill his head. Could it be that the girl has already been caught? Could he be held captive right now?

"I have to get out of here!" Regardless of her still weak condition, Lilyana decided to leave there as soon as possible. However, the girl fell to the floor as she got out of bed, with a sudden pain in her head and legs.

"Oh God!" Screamed an old woman who had just come into the room. The old woman helped Lilyana back into her bed.

"Don't wake up, your body is very weak. You're dehydrated and your legs are hurt" said the friendly woman.

The frightened Lilyana tried to avoid the woman.

"Not to be afraid. My husband found you in our garden this morning" he later said. "My name is Anna. What's your name, son?" ask Mary softly.

Lilyana was still silent with a wide and confused face, until a while later, an old man who still looked handsome entered the room while carrying a tray of food and drinks. "My name is Leo, you don't have to be afraid of young people."

As soon as the tray is placed Leo on the bed, Lilyana's attention is immediately diverted. The smell of the pandan from the bread and ginger from the tea made by Leo suddenly made Lilyana's stomach rumble. Anna sat down next to the girl and put a large cup of the sandwich into her hand. "Eat and rest again."

Lilyana flinching. The girl's eyes looked at the bread that was now in her right hand. "T te thank you." Finally a word with a stamped tone came out of the mouth of the beautiful girl.

Leo and Anna smiled with relief. The two of them left Lilyana in the room alone.

"There's not a single trace of the girl, sir. The rain is making us hard." A tall man sat down in front of his master who was sitting on the sofa crossing his legs. He seemed to suck his cigar deeply before then exhaling into the man's face. Not only that, he also turned off the cigar by pressing his mouth into the back of the man's hand.

The man's screams echoed for a moment until it was heard outside the room. The few other men who had come waiting there could only fall silent in fear.

"You are completely useless!" the man was cold.

"S sa I'll look for him back sir. I promise!"

The man laughed a little. "Never make a promise to me, if you don't want to be the same fate as the people last night!" After saying so, he got up from his chair and left the room.

The man hurriedly stood up to bow respectfully to his master. However, a gunshot was heard moments later.

"Erase him!" It was just a word that was said from the mouth of the master, when he came out of his room. Without even looking, he left the place.

"Darling, that's not the way!" Anna is again irritated by the behavior of Leo who is trying to help his wife make a cake.

"Isn't it true what I'm doing? Look, this flour batter is still well mixed, isn't it?" leo said while showing his work.

Anna shook her head strongly. "Your dough is perfectly mixed, but it's hard!" exasperated.

"Correct?" Leo is perfect.

Seeing the figure of Lilyana who was peeking coyly, Anna also reflexively waved her hand. "Son, come here!"

Leo called the girl.

Lilyana slowly came out of her room and walked towards them. His eyes could not be seen around the house which was ninety percent made of wood.

Anna holds both of Lilyana's shoulders and escorts her to the television room with Leo. "Wait here, huh? I'll make a nice cake as a snack before dinner" he said.

Lilyana could answer nothing but a nod of her head. Together with Leo, they watched a television show there.

"Breaking News! A couple found in the house. There were fatal gunshot wounds to both heads. Police are still searching the scene of the crime. The latest news says their only daughter has not been found!"

On the television screen, it is clear that Lilyana's house is now filled with police and news hunters. Lilyana was shaking with fear. His eyes widened as soon as he heard the news.

Knowing Lilyana's strange reaction, Leo tried to calm her down. "Hey, kid, what's up? What's freaking you out?" ask Leo.

Lilyana did not answer. He huddled on the couch screaming for Leo to turn off the television.

"What's this?" Anna immediately came in a hurry as soon as she heard Lilyana's scream.

Leo shrugged his shoulders. However, he who still has sharpness and sensitivity is of course aware of something that happened to Lilyana. "You're the son of a couple, right?"

Hearing Leo's question, Lilyana's cry broke. Anna hurriedly hugged the young girl's body and calmed her down. He also watched a television screen that still covered the news about the deaths of Lilyana's parents.

"Oh my God!" mumbling Anna. "Look, honey, you're safe with us."

It took a long time for Lilyana to calm down and tell the couple everything that happened last night. He also introduced his name to both of them.

Anna can only be stunned and concerned to find the story of Lilyana who tried to escape from the pursuit of the stranger. Because the distance of Lilyana's house here is very far.

"You must have suffered a lot, son," said Anna softly as she stroked her arm.

"I'm sorry for being such a hassle. Tomorrow morning I'll get out of here" Lilyana said.

"No Lilyana, it's dangerous! I know people like them! They won't just give up until they find you." Leo took a voice.

"Rightly what my husband said. Stay here, then you'll be safe with us." Anna convinced Lilyana.

"I don't want you two to get dragged in with me later" the girl said.

Leo shook his head. "You just calm down. No one broke through my wooden house. Even though I'm retired, I can still ask my subordinates for help."

Lilyana was silent for a moment, then nodded her head. "T thank you!" The crying broke from her lips.
