The other side of Clara

After dinner, Daniel and Sam discuss some things about their cooperation, Clara joined the two men because she represents her momy as a legality team at Sam's restaurant. After he finished discussing the work, Daniel and Clara decided to go home because it was already night.

"Where's your car, Ra?" asked Zea when she didn't see her best friend's car parked in the yard.

"My car's in the workshop. I've booked a taxi online" Clara replied, showing her the phone.

"Evening is usually difficult to find a taxi online Ra," said Zea worried.

"How about going home with Daniel alone," said Sam with a meaningful smile, of course he wanted to match Daniel and Clara so that Daniel did not like his wife anymore.

"Our house is not in the same direction," said Clara, actually she did not want to trouble Daniel anymore because he had several times to trouble the man.

"Our house is in the same direction" said Daniel casually.

Clara grinned like a horse, she could be honest. "What's not a hassle?" clara asked doubtfully.

Zea smiled as she elbowed her husband's arm, the couple looked at each other and threw a smile.

"Titip Clara yes Dan," said Zea.

Clara grabbed the helmet Daniel gave her, the girl climbed on top of Daniel's sports bike and waved at Zea before Daniel drove off. During the journey, the two were silent. After all, if talking on the motorbike is also useless, because their voices are lost in the noise from the exhaust of Daniel's motorbike.

"And you can drop me off at the front garden" Clara said, patting Daniel on the shoulder.

"Why not at home? It's night, the danger of the girl outside is alone" replied Daniel, not that he would not let Clara down in the garden, it's just that he didn't want to be blamed if something bad happened to Clara, let alone that Zea had left the girl to him.

"There's a lot of people there, I have an appointment there too!"

Daniel finally complies, it's possible that Clara has an appointment with her boyfriend. Daniel dropped Clara off right in the garden that the girl asked for. Clara then drove off Daniel's bike and handed him her helmet, this time the girl had no trouble getting off the helmet.

Shortly after, from a distance the sound of children calling Clara's name was heard, both of them turned their heads, Clara smiled widely so that showed a row of white teeth, and, daniel was quite surprised to see the street children running towards Clara.

Clara bent her body to line the children's fingers. "Sorry yes brother there was the event, so the new brother can come," he said as he rubbed their heads one by one.

"No papa sis, we just got together, too" replied one of them.

"You haven't had dinner yet, have you? As promised by brother, tonight I'll buy you good food, you want?"

"You," they answered simultaneously, Clara smiled again at the enthusiasm of the street children.

"Ekhem, who they are, Ra" Daniel interrupted amid the fanfare of the street children.

"They're my friends Dan," replied Clara with such sincere eyes. "Oh yeah, we're leaving, you can go home and, again thanks for the ride!"

Daniel just nodded, he looked at Clara who was leaving with the street children. I don't know what Daniel thought, it was in his mind to follow where Clara and the street children he called as friends went.

From a distance, Daniel sees Clara taking the children to one of the fast food restaurants not far from the park. Without Daniel realizing it, the man smiled at Clara's interaction with the children, the girl did not feel uncomfortable at all, she blended in very well.

For nearly an hour Daniel watched Clara and the street children, after dinner Clara took the children to the park and taught him how to read and write. Daniel glanced at his watch, it was almost eleven o'clock at night but Clara was still painstakingly teaching the children.

"Okay sisters, we continue tomorrow again yes. Now it's night, you have to take a break" said Clara as she reorganized the textbooks and put them in a bag.

"Okay, good night, sister Clara, thank you for tonight" the boys replied simultaneously making Clara smile again. Likewise with Daniel who again involuntarily smiled to see the excitement of the children.

From a distance, Daniel sees a drunk man walking towards Clara. Daniel panicked and without a second thought he screamed for Clara's name.

"Claroo!"

Clara turned her head, she wondered who was calling out to her while shouting. Clara squinted her eyes when she saw a man running towards her, a man who was no stranger to her.

Clara then stood up as Daniel was in front of her with hunting breath. "Daniel, what's wrong?" clara asked curiously, as Clara recalled several hours ago Daniel had gone home, why suddenly he was in the park.

"Eh, that, me," Daniel was suddenly nervous, he didn't even find a good reason why he was in this park.

"What's up Dan?" ask Clara again.

"I'm just curious about the kids you met earlier, are they gone?" yeah, there he is. Finally Daniel found an excuse without having to be discovered if he had been following Clara.

"Oh, they've come home" replied Clara, the girl then sat down and followed Daniel who was sitting next to her.

"Hem, since when have you been friends with them?" Daniel ventured to ask because he was curious, how could a girl like Clara befriend children living on the streets.

"Hmm, I don't know, maybe since I was in high school. My parents were very busy, when I was lonely I always played in this park and accidentally met them. It used to be just three children, and now more and more are friends with me," Clara replied with a straight-forward look, as if she was nostalgic for the past.

"Oh so. Don't you feel uncomfortable being friends with them?" I don't know what Daniel wants to know, he asked again while looking at Clara's face that looks so sweet.

"Of course not, I'm very rude to them. They were very small and had to live on the streets! For that, sometimes I take them out to eat and teach them how to read and write" Clara replied.

"You're so kind," praised Daniel sincerely, Clara then turned to the side so that their neutrals locked each other for a while.

Daniel's gaze was so deep that Clara was misbehaving, the girl quickly shifted her gaze.

"Did you see them every day?"

"No Dan, my college work is very much. So now I can only meet them three times a week, even if I don't have a family event! You seem very interested in them Dan?" now it was Clara's turn to ask, she wondered why Daniel seemed so curious about the street children.

"Can I come with you when you meet them. Can I cook them good, healthy food?"

"My house is near and I can walk" Clara subtly refused.

"Zea will abuse me if she finds out you're home alone" Daniel said.
