Dave and Clara

Dave is so worried when he hears Clara in the hospital, but Dave cannot go straight to the hospital because he is still on campus. After returning home from campus Dave rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately his car tire leaked so he had to stop by the workshop first.

The sky was already dark when Dave arrived at the hospital, the young man immediately asked the receptionist where Clara's room was. Carrying Lily's fruits and flowers, Dave walked to Clara's hospital room.

Blame Dave who didn't knock first, once he entered he was startled with an unpleasant sight in sight, again, for the second time he saw Clara and Daniel kissing.

"You're okay, right?" dave asked, from the look in his eyes Clara could see if the young man was worried about her. But it's nothing special, maybe because they've been friends for a long time so it's appropriate that Dave is worried about Clara.

"Yes, I'm fine," Clara replied with a clumsy smile, she still couldn't get along with Dave after the night. The night that Dave blatantly refused.

"Thank God! Oh yeah where's aunty and uncle?" tanya Dave because she hasn't seen anyone.

"They went home because there was urgent work!"

"So you're just with him?" Dave glanced at Daniel with a dislike look.

"I can't believe I saw it with my eyes when I came in, you were kissing it," Dave didn't want to lose, making the room feel even more tense.

"I kissed him Dave. Anyway what's wrong, she's my lover. Whether I'm gonna kiss her or fuck her is none of your business at all! And just so you know, Daniel took care of me!" clara's words further annoy Dave, he feels Clara is getting away from him.

"What kind of love doesn't know about your trauma Ra!"

"Enough Dave. If you came just to make a fuss, you better leave now! You don't make sense!" Clara expels Dave before the young man goes further, Clara is still not ready to tell Daniel her childhood trauma.

"You'll regret it Ra!"

While Clara can only cry, she doesn't believe her friendship with Dave will end like this. But Daniel will not let Clara grieve, the man immediately hugged Clara to calm her down even without saying anything.

After calming down, Clara immediately wiped away her tears. It's not worth crying over Dave in front of Daniel, he doesn't want Daniel to misunderstand.

"I'm sorry Daniel" said Clara with a hiccup.

"Why should you apologize, you're not wrong. So please don't cry, I don't like to see it Daniel replied as he wiped the remaining tears on Clara's face. "At night you'd better get some rest" Daniel helped Clara lie down, the man tidied up Clara's blanket and sat down on the bedside chair.

"Don't worry about me, I'm sleeping on the couch. I'm not leaving you alone."

"Why are you so good to me Dan?"

"Because I love you!" daniel replied firmly without hesitation.

"But we've only known you for a few months!"

Daniel stroked Clara's face gently. "I don't want to regret being late in expressing my feelings. Love isn't about Ra's time!"

Clara was so moved to hear the words of Daniel, being loved sincerely was her dream long ago. "Thank you Dan" said Clara with wet eyes.

"Hem, sleep. I'm not leaving!"

Clara nodded and tried to close her eyes. But he can't sleep, maybe because he's been sleeping all day. Clara opened her eyes again and saw Daniel still looking faithfully at her like before.

"Do you need anything?" daniel asked as Clara opened her eyes again.

Clara nodded quickly. "Daniel!"

"Yes!"

"Aren't you wondering why I suddenly fainted?"

"The doctor said you're tired and sleep-deprived, and you often skip meals. Your blood sugar and blood pressure dropped, which is why you passed out, "Daniel answered according to the doctor's diagnosis although Daniel did not say if the doctor gave advice to take Clara to see a psychiatrist.

"Actually I am," Clara hesitates to continue, fearing that Daniel will stay away from her and dismissing her as a freak if she tells the story of her childhood.

"Don't say anything if you're not ready," Daniel quickly cut.

"Do you know?" clara asked with both eyebrows linked together.

Daniel nodded slowly. "Sorry Ra!"

"You're not afraid of me? I mean, don't you think I'm weird?"

"Why should I be afraid of you? Everyone has past wounds, and not everyone can forget those wounds. Maybe I'm just a new person in your life, but I hope you start learning to forget that painful past Ra!"

"You know, I've had regrets in the past. Since my parents separated, my life has been filled with hatred and do not believe in love. I lived with my grandmother and always ignored her, always revolting and blaming her for everything that happened. But after my grandmother died I regretted always ignoring my grandmother and never said I loved my grandmother. But everything has happened, all I can do now is accept your situation, accept my past that hurts me. And after I accepted everything, God brought us together and you made a new color in my life!"

Clara wiped away Daniel's tears as soon as she had dripped, and the girl got up and hugged Daniel tightly. "You must have suffered a lot" he said sadly.

"For that I want you to let go of all Ra, forget that wound and be happy!"

"But I don't know how to escape that fear Dan!"

Daniel releases Clara's embrace and looks at the girl's face with a soothing look. "I'll help you. Trust me sweetie!"

Clara nodded, somehow she trusted Daniel so much. The eyes of the man seemed to strengthen him. Clara will fight to untie her past wounds with Daniel.
