"Eat first, son? Mama grabin' a snack" mama Tasya bargained.
"No ma, Kay no longer wants to eat" answered Kay because she still feels full.
Mama Tasya just nodded. His daughter-in-law is a stubborn figure. So he didn't want to be dizzy just to force Kayla. Let that be Rio's business, he thought.
Feeling weak, Kay closed her eyes again.
I don't know how many hours Kay still faithfully closed her eyes.
Even the moon at night is shining light.
Without realizing it, a man with the body of a jackass entered the room.
It appeared that the man sighed harshly at Kay who was lying down with an infusion on the back of her hand.
The man was none other than Rio who had just arrived at the mansion after making his long journey.
"Huhh he was always stubborn" he murmured annoyed after hearing from his father that his wife insisted on going home.
"Kay wakes up" Rio rubbed his wife's forehead gently.
"Eumm" Kay simply squirmed without even opening her eyes.
"Kay, eat first. You haven't eaten a malem yet right" Rio's soft voice made Kay blink her eyes awake.
"Have you arrived?" Kay tried to get up.
Rio deftly helped his wife to sit together in bed.
"Yes as you can see. Eat huh? I'm takingin?"
Kay shook her head
"My tongue is bitter"
"When you don't eat, where can our children grow? After all, seven-monthly event for you. At least you should be cut off"
"But my tongue is bitter. Not good" lamented Rio's wife.
"I'm masakin, right? What do you want?" Rio's asking gently made Kay's heart slightly rustle.
"Will chicken soup?" Tawar Rio saw Kay's confused look.
"Yes already broke my mind first" Rio dyed a glimpse of the top of his wife's head then headed towards the walk in closet to change his clothes in pajamas first.
After tens of minutes passed, Rio finally returned to the room with a bowl of chicken soup.
"I'm a bribe?" Rose Rio was attentive who clearly got an enthusiastic nod from his wife.
"Why does it feel different?" Kay asked felt a little strange.
"I reduced the amount of salt because the doctor said you shouldn't eat a lot of salt"
Kay sighed in resignation. It is true what her husband said.
He was sure Rio already knew everything. It's just that maybe the man is still trying to refrain from discussing it which must lead to a fight.
After finishing his meal, Rio placed the bowl into the utensils.
"Why would you break a doctor's abstinence?" Rio's question started to intimidate.
"A me. .."
"What's because I'm still so insistent that you're reckless like this?"
Kay shook her head
Rio was throwing his breath rough
He holds his wife's shoulder.
"Kay, I don't know what to behave like. I'm not the one who can say everything I feel. Can't you see my concern for you. I'm trying to care about you. Every night I think about how to make you both equally safe. But you're doing something stupid like this" Rio's getting angry.
"Sorry" Kay cried making Rio set his breath for his emotions to subside.
"Not crying, I'm sorry. I'm just trying to fix everything. Especially our home. I hope you can understand me, and vice versa"
Kay nodded weakly
Rio hugged the fragile body
"I love you and our son. I promise I will give my best to you both" Rio kissed the top of his wife's head.
