Aldy waited a long time but the doctor did not come out. Aldy's heart increasingly was was between guilt, humanity and worry about the state of his wife and child.
A few minutes later the doctor came out.
"How's my friend doc?" Alex asks ahead of Aldy.
"Is there a husband?" Ask the Doctor.
"I doc" replied Aldy, Alex and Rendy together which left the doctor confused.
"I'm her husband doc" Aldy said again.
"His fetal state is fine. However the state of Madame Dilla was very weak at the moment. This could have been triggered because Madam Dilla experienced excessive stress" said the doctor.
Aldy breathed a sigh of relief when he knew the fetus that his wife was carrying was okay.
"So soon Mrs Dilla will be transferred to the hospital room" said the doctor, who was adopted by Aldy.
Moments later, Dilla's gurney was moved to the nursing room.
Aldy went into Dilla's ward. He clasped his wife's weak hand on top of the gurney.
Aldy's eyes were fixed on the back of Dilla's swollen hand.
Aldy immediately pressed the nurse call button.
Moments later the doctor returned to Dilla's ward.
"Dok, why is my wife's back swollen docks?"
"Sorry before Mr Aldy, was your wife infused often before this?"
"Yes doc, even almost a week 3 or 4 times my wife was infused because of hyperemesis gravidarum" said Aldy.
"Is your wife still experiencing it"
"Yes doc"
"You should take extra care of your wife. The condition experienced by your wife is a rare condition in pregnant women where she experiences morning sickness beyond normal limits. This is certainly dangerous for your own wife and also her fetus" said the doctor.
"The swelling will disappear over time sir"
"All right doc, thank you"
The doctor nodded and exited the room.
(The doctor who handled Dilla was not an obigyn guys.The doctor only explained what he knew about HG).
Aldy had called doctor Farah (doctor obigyn Dilla) to make an appointment and explain about the state of Dilla.
But Farah's doctor advised to consult tomorrow morning because the day was too late at night(02.00) besides waiting for Dilla to wake up first.
Morning
Aldy opened his eyes. He wished his wife had woken up, but she didn't. His wife has not opened her eyes.
Aldy uncovers Dilla's shirt. He saw stitches in his wife's distended stomach. He rubbed his wife's stomach and he got a response in the form of a kick from his son.
But Aldy immediately closed Dilla's stomach. If too long he rubbed his wife's stomach, he was afraid Dilla would be in pain because her stitches had not fully dried.
Aldy rubbed Dilla's hand. He pulled his hair behind his wife's ears.
"Bagunlah" whispered Aldy in Dilla's ear.
There was no response from Dilla.
Aldy went to the bathroom and cleaned his body. When he came out, he brought a dipper filled with warm water. He began to brush his wife's body with a wet towel.
(His outpatient room is vvip, well incidentally Aldy found a dipper because usually in the vvip room there is no dipper.
2 Hours have Aldy waiting, but his wife never realized. He decided to call Farah's doctor to come to Dilla's nursery.
