The Past of Doctor Adam

In the room of Doctor Adam. It looks like Kinan is sitting on the sofa. And Doctor Adam was busy looking out the window, looking at the beautiful city of Malang. For a few minutes they were silent. Kinan began to grow angry.

Is this the doctor saying anything? I still have a job at IGD.

Shortly afterwards Doctor Adam gave a glass of warm tea in front of Kinan's table.

"Please drink." Kinan saw that a little worried.

Seeing Kinan's anxious expression, Doctor Adam started to make a sound.

"Drink aja. There is no poison in the tea." - Adam.

"Ii.iiya Doctor." replied Kinan nervously. But he still did not budge, he did not touch the slightest tea that Doctor Adam gave him.

"The name is Sinta."

Sinta?? Who's who?? That little girl??

"He's my son. We used to live in Bandung with my ex-wife. From childhood he did not get enough affection from his mother. His mother was too busy with the business he was running."

And one day I caught him having an affair with another man in his study." explains Dr. Adam. "I saw him making out with another man. That's when I decided to divorce her and bring Sinta with me."

Kinan who heard that became moved. Her tears almost spilled but she could stand it.

"I think giving lots of gifts and toys will keep him a little entertained. But what I thought was wrong. He just needs a mother's affection."

"Did the doctor's ex-wife never visit Sinta?"

"Never. Not even just asking Sinta news. It's as if he doesn't have a child. Sinta was not at all considered by women ****** that." Doctor Adam's tone was getting higher. Obviously he was very angry.

"That's why Doctor Adam invited Sinta to move to this city?"

"Even if you go to the end of the world, a child's instinct will surely miss his mother Doctor." Kinan chirped. "Alas she is a girl. She needs a mother figure next to her."

"Yes. I-i know. That's why I'm looking for an experienced babysitter to really give Sinta some affection."

"Did the doctor find the nanny?"

"It has. But Sinta has absolutely no respect for her nanny."

"Yes that's why Doctor Adam lives with a new wife again." replied Kinan casually.

"Heh?? Is it that easy?"

Kinan just nodded.

"Who wants to be with me??"

"Who wouldn't want to be with Doctor Adam?? Maybe the whole hospital will be like you. You are a Specialist, very financially very sufficient and will not be lacking. I have a house, an apartment, a car. Face is also handsome."

"You think I'm handsome??"

"Not in my opinion. But according to another nurse's nurse." reply Kinan.

"Ohh." replied Doctor Adam cuek. For a moment he was silent.

"Do you want to be with me??" ask Dr. Adam without hesitation.

"I??" ask Kinan surprised.

"He em." said Doctor Adam.

"Ma...mauu what does Doctor mean?" Kinan nervous.

"You want to be my wife??"

Sontak Kinan was surprised by the question posed by Doctor Adam. Questions were unhesitatingly coming out of the cold doctor's mouth.

Doctor Adam just nodded.

Why did you come saying that? Is it just a prank or really serious? But why me? Hasn't she been cold to me all this time?

"Sorry Doctor, I can't." Kinan braved himself.

"Why?? Didn't you say the whole hospital likes me?? You are also part of this hospital."

"Maybe unless I'm a doctor." Kinan replied with a smile.

"Why??" doctor Adam asked with a serious face-turned mimic.

"What is the reason why Doctor?" Kinan was getting confused.

"Why did you refuse?" doctor Adam's.

"Hm.that is.I only consider Doctor Adam as a working partner, nothing more. Doctor Adam is my colleague." replied Kinan politely who did not want Doctor Adam offended.

"It's actually the same. Just different status. You can remain my partner after marriage."

"Ma.sorry Doctor. I feel inappropriate. There may be other women who are better than me." added Kinan. "Sorry Doctor, please excuse me."

Kinan was about to run away from the chatter that he thought was very misleading.

"I haven't finished talking yet" said Doctor Adam, who stopped his steps.

"What do you want?? Just mention it, as long as you want to be my wife."

Kinan turned around and slowly approached Doctor Adam. He wants to clarify everything.

"Why should I be Doctor??"

"Because Sinta herself has chosen you" replied the cold doctor.

"Sita and I met for the first time today. How could he choose me??"

"No, this isn't the first time Sinta has seen you. He has often noticed you silent. He used to come to this hospital without my knowledge. And you're the woman he always looks up to."

"How did Doctor Adam know??"

"He told himself. Even the nanny and driver had also spoken up about Sinta who had quietly slipped to come here."

Many times Kinan sighed.

"So Doctor Adam asked me to be his wife because of Sinta's request?"

"No. But I chose you myself."

"Why??" ask Kinan astonished.

"Because all this time I noticed you have a gentle nature and motherhood. It is suitable to be a mother for Sinta. Your polite nature and strong religion are the most basic things I need to rebuild the household failures I once experienced." explained Doctor.

It looks like Kinan is twitching his forehead. His view is not focused. He was confused as to what to answer.

"I'll give you everything you need." - Doctor Adam.

"I don't need anything Doctor. I am not a matre woman. If you want to find a wife, then let me help you find her. But not me."

"Why?? Do you have a boyfriend??"

"Sorry Doctor, that's my personal business. Excuse me first."

Kinan turned around and left the room. Although many times Doctor Adam called, but Kinan did not care. He wanted to get out of the room immediately. His chest was as tight as being there.

Kinan went into the bathroom and washed his face. He saw himself in the glass sink.

What the hell was he? Why is it talking? And why should I?

Kinan tried to calm his mind before returning to the IGD room.
