Chapter 35. Assassin

"Be careful, Ray. I don't want to be a widow at a young age."

Raiden turned his head and smiled slantingly, Could the woman he just married say that. Raiden approached Zafia quickly and kissed her bibifr a little harshly.

"Wait a minute."

Raiden then left the room, Zafia saw a firearm lying on the nightstand. He picked it up and checked the bullet. There are 4 bullets left. That means Raiden used it. At the time Zafia was checking the firearm, from the outside of the big window. There was a man trying to get in. Raiden's window is specially designed and not just anyone can open or find a gap to break it.

Zafia still keeps watching the guy. Zafia immediately hid in the closet. He cursed when the person earlier could apparently smash the window glass without a sound. From inside the closet Zafia can see the movement of the man and unfortunately the man is now approaching the closet where he is hiding. Zafia held her breath. His heart is beating so fast. However, suddenly Zafia heard a noise from outside accompanied by the sound of gunfire. Zafia hope Raiden's okay. Now the sound of swords and gunshots sounded so close.

"You know Raiden. I really hate you."

"Thank you, but unfortunately I don't want to know."

"Because of you, my brother killed himself."

"I didn't kill him. His love is too stupid and shallow."

DOR!!

The trail!!

Zafia closed her eyes when she wasn't peeping. But imagining Raiden being shot makes Zafia feel the need to act immediately. Zafia finally peeked out from behind the closet. Raiden and the man were quite far away. Zafia began aiming at the weapons she was carrying towards her husband's enemies.

"You want to know why he killed himself?"

"She's pregnant. Your best friend Marick impregnated her and she asked for my help. I don't want to help her because I didn't touch her."

"You're lying, you're the one who made Leah kill herself" the man yelled. He turned his gun back to Raiden. At the same time Zafia pulled the trigger.

DOR!!

The man immediately fell down because Zafia punched the man in the head. The weapon that Zafia was holding fell just like that. Zafia's body sagged and her hands trembled. Again and again he had to kill.

Zafia is not not good at using weapons, not bad at martial arts but she is weak. His heart was not as strong as his brothers. Her heart was too soft as her mother's.

"Baby." Raiden touches Zafia's shoulder and pulls her to get Zafia up and after that Raiden hugs Zafia tightly.

"It's ok. Don't cry, Baby."

"I killed again, Ray. I'm a killer."

"Sshh, relax. Its alright. You did the right thing."

Raiden could still feel Zafia's body trembling. Before long some of Raiden's men entered the private room of his superior. Although there was actually a ban on entering Raiden's private room, but because of the incident they went in there.

"Repair the body."

"Good, Boss."

After his men cleared up all the mess in Raiden's room. They all left the room. Raiden opened the other side of the closet. He pressed a button and before long the wall of the closet was lit up, apparently it was an elevator. Raiden takes Zafia up the elevator and down to the secret room and only Raiden and his papa know the room.

Raiden sits Zafia in a big bed. His wife kept looking down while looking at his hand.

Raiden clasped the hand and said, "What should I do so you don't be afraid anymore?"

"I'm a killer, Ray. I killed that man."

"You forgot who I am, hmm? I might even lose more lives than you."

Zafia raised her face, their gazes met, Raiden ventured to the lip of Zafia gently.
