Chapter 6. Raiden The Prodigal

Zafia now glanced at the smartwatch in her hand. The time has shown at 9 more local time. His eyes are now focused on the data recovery system he had created.

Ferran is proud to know Zafia. The girl was indeed young, but she was very reliable. No wonder if at such a young age, the girl in front of him was able to establish a company of this size.

"You're not going to college, Fia?" ask Bella.

"I've had bad luck. So I choose to skip it, " replied Zafia as necessary. It seemed like his brain was working even though his hands seemed to be silent.

"Then what about the leaked data, is it really safe?" bella asked again, this time the look on her face was visible to Raiden.

"Hopefully they didn't have time to copy the data. I just turned the contents of the data into a virus code. So when they reopen the data they stole, then their laptop or computer will be damaged" said Zafia.

"If you don't go to college, you better eat first" said Raiden, who sat on the couch.

"I'm not hungry yet" Zafia replied quickly without thinking.

"So you didn't finish your pizzas, the milk just reduced a little."

"I'm really lazy to eat, Ray," replied Zafia. "I'm also waiting for the recovery of my clients' data" said Zafia a little huffed. Right now his mind is completely in chaos.

Raiden instantly fell silent, he saw Zafia as if to code himself to be silent.

"Ferran, please check in the IT section if there are any other problems."

"OK." Ferran rushed out towards the 3rd floor where the IT team was located.

"Bella, can I ask you something for a favor?"

"What?" bella asked, her face looking troubled. However, Raiden did not see her because the man was busy staring at Zafia.

"Can you go to Miguel's apartment and see what he does."

"Can't you just call her?" ask Bella again. He doesn't seem to be leaving Zafia's room.

"You know what Miguel looks like, right?" zafia.

"All right" replied Bella. He finally leaves Zafia's room.

After making sure Bella leaves, Zafia presses a button on her desk that can only be accessed using her fingerprints. With one press, the room suddenly dimmed the door locked automatically. That means Zafia doesn't want to be disturbed, but isn't Raiden in the room?

"What's the matter exactly?" ask Raiden. He knows very well that Zafia is now restless and not okay.

"I feel like someone's starting to betray me."

"Who?" raiden's face suddenly turned hard. His eyes look so scary.

"Let's know, I'm just entrusting all the codes I've made to the two of them. The IP address was a disguise. I managed to get the real IP address and it was the IP address of my own computer. That data's been accessed, Ray." Zafia rubbed her face with both palms.

"You call it who? let me take care of it.

"But they're my best friends, Ray."

"True friends won't betray, Fia."

"Let me think first. I think I need to call them all. I don't know if they're conspirators or individuals."

Zafia just kept quiet while thinking. He could have seen who the culprit of the hidden CCtv he installed in all corners of the place he thought was secret, he said, but Zafia is still afraid to accept the fact that she is actually being cheated by her best friend. A friend he has trusted for a long time.

Zafia took a long breath. He rubbed his face with both hands. His eyes are red. It felt like he wanted to cry, but he was worried that Raiden would be reckless.

Raiden stood up from his seat and drew closer to Zafia's oversized seat.

"I don't like seeing you like this, Fia. I'm really going to finish them all off" Raiden said with a sharp turn in his eyes. Zafia opened her arms, looked up at Raiden and then hugged the man's waist.

Raiden's hands are clenched, he hates seeing Zafia like this. Raiden could see Zafia's teary eyes, the girl must have tried her hardest to hold back her tears from spilling. He'll give a tally to anyone later caught betraying Zafia's trust.

"Open CCTV footage all over this building" Raiden's orders were refused. With doubt Zafia started turning on one of the CCTVs from inside her room.

Meanwhile, Ferran who already knew the locked Zafia room immediately turned towards his room. He clenched his hands and from his eyes looked such a deep disappointment.

Zafia hasn't locked her room in a long time. Ferran knows what it means if the door is locked. Zafia is not being disturbed, but Raiden is also in the room. Ferran's hands clenched tightly, his face implying such a deep disappointment.

"Let's eat?"

"I don't have a taste for food."

"What if I just eat you" said Raiden. Zafia raised her face again, and Raiden immediately grabbed Zafia's pink lips.

Zafia clasped both sides of Raiden's shirt. His eyes slowly closed and he began to return the young man's kiss. CCTV from Zafia's computer still displays images of the room, but it looks like Raiden wants to distract Zafia. He doesn't want Zafia getting hurt.

Both of them seem to ignore where they are now. Zafia moans as Raiden's kiss falls on her neck.

"Ray's."

Raiden briefly unraveled his kiss, his tail glancing at Zafia's computer. However, looking into Zafia's eyes, Raiden again buried his lips in Zafia's lips. It tastes really sweet.

"Zafia, will you marry me?"

"Raiden, we're too small to enter the household. Anyway I still want to reach my goals."

"I'll help you achieve your dreams, Fia," Raiden said. His hand nearly infiltrated Zafia's shirt, but the girl held him back.

"Don't, Ray. We are brothers."

Raiden smiled faintly. "Brother?" hiss Raiden.

"You just returned my kiss and now you're talking about brother."

"Ray, I .... "

"I don't care about that complicated relationship. To me you and I are not blood is more than enough to fight for you, Fia."

Zafia looked up at Raiden, her eyes looking doubtful, but Zafia could not hide her love.

"I love you, Zafia." Raiden raised his chin again and began to kiss the lips of the girl he adored almost 2 years ago. Raiden was even willing to be patient waiting for certainty.
