Chapter 124

Now that Vier, Cyara and Damian are sitting in the hospital cafeteria, Cyara invites the two men there, as Cyara does not want her mother to meet Damian first.

"Why didn't you tell Brother? Even Brother heard you passed out yesterday?" Damian looked at his sister.

"Sadly, doesn't Mr. Damian usually know everything better" said Vier cutting off the conversation, after just staying quiet.

Damian glanced at Vier at a glance, then looked back at Cyara.

"Then how's uncle's nephew? She's okay, right?" Damian's question didn't care what Vier said just now.

Vier just turned the ball lazily, hearing Damian who kept Cyara chatting.

"My son is fine, brother, you don't have to worry" Cyara replied with a smile, assuring her that she was okay.

"Thank God you're relieved to hear that," after saying that, Davian looked at Vier, but the man's gaze looked unfriendly.

"And you, Cyara just came with you one day, Cyara you passed out. If until this happens again, I don't hesitate to take Cyara back from you" Damian warned firmly.

"Already Brother, this is also not Vier's fault, Vier has tried to take care of me" said Cyara who certainly defended the husband.

Now it's Damian's turn to grunt, "You've always stood up for this guy" he said.

And Vier who heard that could only give her a smile. She was happy to hear Cyara defending her in front of the older sister. Vier can't wait to give his wife a kiss all over her face.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Sela Damian who accidentally saw Vier was smiling himself when she looked at him.

Hearing that, Cyara turned to look at her husband as if asking "why?"

Vier just shook his head. Cyara puts her shoulders, then stares at her phone when she hears the incoming message.

"Vier, sister, I'll be back first, you guys just keep talking" said Cyara when she got a message from her in-laws that Ken's mom was coming to see her mom.

"I'm coming" said Vier, who did not want to part with his wife for a while.

"You're just chatting with Damian, you've never had a chat with his sister-in-law status, have you?"

Vier looked at Damian and confirmed his wife's words, and he finally nodded, however he wanted to ask the man who turned out to be his wife's older brother.

After seeing Cyara's departure, Damian began to open his voice, now he seemed serious about asking what was really going on, is it true that the report given by his men about the accident that almost happened to Rey and Rain.

Vier explained everything to Damian not to be missed, Damian just clenched his hands tightly on the table, when he knew there was someone who intended to harm the family he had.

"Where is that woman? I have to teach him a lesson?" Damian growled.

Vier mentions Sheira's whereabouts now, she really doesn't care about her anymore, she's talked to him many times, but she doesn't listen to him at all, to do something that Vier did not expect. Vier realizes that the Sheira he knows now is very different from the Sheira he used to be.

"Are you sure he's really not sane?" Damian asked looking at Vier unsure.

Vier scrunched his forehead, "You mean?"

"Why daydream?"

Cyara who was sitting on the bench next to her mother's bed got up to Vier and sat next to him, Cyara noticed that Vier was just daydreaming after coming home from meeting her brother, what they were talking about earlier, Cyara wondered in her heart.

Feeling invited to talk, Vier turned his head, smiled and shook his head, "There's nothing" said Vier, who did not want his wife to think much and ended up fainting like yesterday.

"But why are you daydreaming?" 

"About me wanting to keep working?" Cyara sighed and replied.

"Well if you don't let me work anymore" said Cyara sadly, she still wants to work, while she is still able to.

"No, I changed my mind, I allowed you to keep working, but the condition is you should not be exhausted and remember, you should always be by my side," vier said that he could always monitor his wife and make sure she was safe. As for the children, he had already ordered some people to take care of him. Vier did not want to let his guard down, he anticipated all that fearing what his sister-in-law said was right.

Vier remembered the conversation with Damian before he decided to return to his mother-in-law's ward.

"What do you mean?"

"What if Sheira pretends she's not under arrest? What if he actually devised a plan to re-injure Cyara and your children?"

Vier is silent, confirming what Davian said, at first he will meet with Alno to discuss finding evidence of Sheira's guilt, and put her in custody, but Sheira is not sane, it could have been up to something before Vier gathered the evidence.

"That shouldn't happen, because I'll always take care of them."

 After saying that, Vier calls Bobby Alno's confidant to send some people to keep watch at home and always keep an eye on his family, including Rey and Rain's school.

As soon as he finished calling, Vier said goodbye to come back, he was afraid something might happen to his wife, let alone that she was not there beside him.

"Why daydream again?" 

"Huh? Oh no," said Vier.

"Mama just stopped by here, delivering food," Cyara pointed to the food on the table with her chin.

Vier looked directly at his wife, "Mama here? Same who?" Vier asked straight up from his seat. 

"Why are you panicking like that? Did something happen?" Cyara now rose from her seat feeling astonished by her husband. Her mother-in-law went back to the hospital.

Vier who consciously showed his panic, now trying to adjust his breath, to look calm again, inexplicably when he heard his family, Vier became sensitive and felt afraid.

"Whose mom?" Vier asked after he calmed down.

"Just like Love" Cyara replied and it made Vier breathe a sigh of relief.

"Yes let's eat, you said Mama has brought it for us" Vier tried to divert the conversation.

"All right, I'll take it first."

Vier prevented holding both of his wife's shoulders and asked her to sit.

"Let me, I don't want you to be exhausted" Vier said.

"But just go there, I…"

"St!" Vier put his index finger in front of his wife's lips, not wanting to be denied.

"Just sit down okay, let your husband do it."

Cyara could only nod, she smiled as she watched Vier pick up food and prepare for her, although trivial, but Cyara was happy to be noticed that way.

"I'm a bribe, aaa." said Vier, feeding a spoonful of food in front of his wife's mouth.

When Cyara opened her mouth, Vier immediately bribed her, then put the spoon down, when he heard her phone ring. Vier frowned at the unknown number, he put down his phone and went back to feed his wife, but again his phone rang, forced after several times to keep calling him, Vier finally answered him, and again, as his wife said, it might be important. 

"Hello" said Vier.

Someone across the phone introduced himself and gave Vier a shocking tip, until Vier dropped his phone.
