Chapter 18

Cyara looked at Vier sharply. Then he looked down and spoke to his children. Cyara really did not expect that Vier would say that to the plain children who were now sitting in their flops.

"Rey and Rain watch it together first yes, Mami wants to talk first with Om Vier," said Cyara then woke up from her seat, pulling Vier's hand away from his children and taking the man to a room. 

Vier circled his gaze around him and was convinced that the room was Cyara's.

Cyara releases her hand, which pulls Vier's hand, locks the door of the room and even all the curtains she puts down, Cyara does not want her children to hear or see what Cyara is going to say to Vier.

"What are you doing? What do you really want, Mr Zavier?" Shouted Cyara as soon as she had made her room completely closed, at a time when they were just alone.

Vier smiled smirk, it seemed that Cyara was unaware of what she was doing at the moment.

"What do you really want to say?" Vier asked without answering Cyara's question, the closer he walked towards Cyara, the more he automatically regressed. 

"Let's just say didn't you tell the kids there was something you wanted to talk to me about?" Vier said again, even the man had already pulled Cyara's hand so close that Cyara would hug the man, just barely because now both of Cyara's hands were in front of Vier's chest.

"What did you say to my children?" Shouted Cyara who could not hold back anymore, without looking at Vier and turning her face, Cyara could not look at Vier because their distance was too close.

Vier drew his face closer to Cyara's face, making Cyara hold her breath.

"What did I tell them? Didn't you hear it yourself? Do you want me to repeat it again?" His whisper was right in Cyara's ear.

It really made Cyara's heart pound, especially when he felt the breath of Vier on his neck that felt tickling.

"This is not true" Cyara said inwardly and immediately pushed Vier's chest as hard as she could, and managed to take Vier a few steps back because of his thrust.

Cyara then folded her hands together in front of her chest and looked at Vier sharply filled with intimidation.

"You're just kidding, right? If you want to joke like that, don't bring my kids!" Cyara said angrily, she doesn't like Vier saying such things to her children.

"I beg you to stop this joke, as long as you know, it's not funny" Cyara said in a low voice.

"A..what do you mean? I don't understand what you're saying at all?" Actually not not not understand, but Cyara really did not believe and did not expect what he had just heard.

"Don't I say from the beginning that I'm going to marry you and I'm going to do everything I can to make you my wife, do you remember Miss Cyara Lavenia now?"

"And what do you mean by carrying my children?" Ask Cyara who doesn't understand how Vier's mind works. It could be that the man is bringing his young children into adult trouble.

"Yes," said Vier seriously, inviolable.

"But we just knew each other, no, rather we didn't know each other, and you said you wanted to marry me? This is all bullshit, you must be just playing me, right? Most of us are two different human beings, me and you are completely different, so need I reiterate to you that we will never be able to be together."

"Can't be what? Being together? Try saying it again!" Vier's jaw hardened, when he heard the rejection of the woman he hated firmly, even when all the women he met bent their knees just wanted to be with him.

"What's different about Cyara? I'm a man and you're a woman, so what's wrong if we're together, I don't care what difference you mean, which is obviously what I want you to be, that's what you need to know.

Cyara's breathing went up and down feeling a sense of annoyance that felt like it wanted to explode right then and there, when the man who was his boss status was like playing tricks on him. And did the man really not understand what he was saying? Does the man not know what difference Cyara means?

Vier is a man of honor, while Cyara may be just a grain of dust for him, and more importantly, he is a single man, while Cyara is just a mother who already has two children, and Vier, that guy doesn't know how Cyara's past is. Does the man not even care if his future even his reputation has to be at stake just to marry Cyara?

And Cyara, Cyara does not want what happened in the past, will repeat itself in the present with different people. Cyara once hoped, when she saw someone fighting for her, but that hope was immediately thrown away, when it turned out that the person actually let go.

"You can't talk like that to my kids anymore, I as an adult know if what you're saying is just a joke, but them?" Cyara paused her words and took a deep breath before going back on with her words.

"They are still small and still too innocent to be able to understand what you're saying, what if they think your words are like a great hope for her?" Said Cyara who no longer knew what else to say to Vier.

"You need to know, all this time they've been fine without anyone, so please don't try again to break down and force our way into life, I don't want the wall I've built as solid as possible to collapse because you keep breaking into it Mr. Vier. I don't want my kids to expect to get out of what I've been guarding, and they end up losing hope, because it turns out you broke down our defensive wall just to stop by instead of actually settling in," cyara added in a very soft voice, and Vier, Cyara did not know the man heard what he had said or not.

"Regardless you agree or not, I will continue to marry you" Vier said once again to Cyara.

"Remember I don't want Cyara to be rejected" he added with great emphasis on leaving Cyara.
