The construction work of the barracks has been completed since yesterday.
Even faster than the initial estimate, which suspected that it would end in the afternoon, it was completed only until noon only.
This morning, there was no more work that Anang could do, which could make extra money.
The intention to help in the field belongs to Tejo, also can not be done Anang, because Anang's male friend, still insisted on waiting for others, who used to work with him.
Rather than nothing Anang did, Anang went to his new land, looking around for something he could make, other than planting seedlings.
Anang walked leisurely alone to the plantation area, because Tejo was still busy doing something in his room, and Anang did not want to disturb him.
"First off if you want to garden. I'll catch up!"
So Tejo said earlier, half screaming from inside his room, when Anang knocked on the door of Tejo's room, and invited him to go to the garden with Anang.
Although actually Anang felt a little surprised, because Tejo did not act as usual.
It felt like all this time, Anang had never seen Tejo, late coming out of his room in the morning.
But, it could have been because Tejo was not working, so he wanted to rest in his room first.
As long as Tejo doesn't say he's sick, it means there's nothing to worry about, to leave Tejo alone.
When Anang arrived at his garden, the people who took the wages to plant the seedlings in his field, had already begun to work.
If you look around from the border of the land, and the number of seeds left, it seems that there are only about five rows left, all seeds have been planted.
This means that today is the last day of planting, and Anang just paid the price to those people.
Fortunately, even though it is still in the village, whose name is a bank account, it is not foreign to the people there.
So, later Anang just transfer the money to the account of one of the workers, then those who divide the results themselves.
Anang took a walk in the garden area, checking and looking around.
Looks pretty good.
Because it is close to the rice fields, Anang also has no trouble watering the plants, with water that can be taken from the rice fields irrigation, which flows under Tejo.
Anang walked all the way to the border, with land belonging to an unknown neighbor Anang.
The barracks they were working on were neat and indeed ready to live.
I do not know when the people, who are said to be from outside the island, will live and work on the land.
Anang was still walking back and forth, with a slow step inside the garden area, on the side of the road was seen a car with an open tub stopped and parked there.
There were about eight people, sitting in the car-tub, jumping down from the car, and standing on the side of the road, as if there was something they were looking for.
Maybe it's the people that Tejo says will live and work there.
But Anang did not dare to approach them first, because Anang did not know for sure, if it was the people Tejo meant.
From a distance, Anang could see Tejo, who was walking closer and closer, then approached them.
It seems to be true, they are workers who are said to come from outside the island.
Anang walked out of his garden, and came to Tejo and the men.
Anang then greeted them all, and was replied with a friendly speech, although the accent they used was somewhat different from Anang.
The stature of those people, quite much different from the population in Anang village.
With darker skin, and hair that still looks curly, even though it has been cut very short.
But, their body shape, looked like a person who was already used to working hard.
The sacks are very interesting to Anang, because when viewed at a glance, it looks like the sacks contain rice.
Anang helped carry their luggage, as well as Tejo, then walked to the barracks in the neighboring area.
"Those who will live in the barracks?" asked Anang, while walking hand in hand with Tejo.
"Yes" Tejo said.
Anang still walked with Tejo, and the men, to the front of the barracks.
Even Anang had a chance to talk with them for a while, when Tejo was busy on his phone, and say goodbye to go home first.
The people were from the eastern islands, and most were migrating to work on plantations, such as that place.
Lack of employment in the area, making them prefer to migrate in other areas, which need their energy.
Not kidding.
If Anang used to be from the village to the city, already feel difficulties, how did those who wandered to that extent?
They have experience working on plantations, and are invited to cooperate by landowners, to a certain time limit.
After feeling that it has been there long enough, Anang felt bad, if he had to disturb those who might want to rest.
Anang then said goodbye, to return to his plantation area.
Over time walking around in the garden, without much activity that he can make, Anang chose to go home first, later in the afternoon he returned there, all checking back, and checking again, what planting is done.
On the way back to Tejo's house, Anang saw Tejo, who had not yet reached his home, still standing on the side of the road, and occasionally walking slowly on the street, with a cell phone stuck to his ear.
Tejo seemed to enjoy the conversation, while smiling himself there.
When you look at the movements, Tejo seems to be talking to his girlfriend, because Tejo looks happy.
Never mind...
Clearly, Tejo had been returning home since then, but still not at home.
Anang shook his head.
I don't know who, and what Tejo talked about on his phone, until that long, it's not finished.
When Anang started to approach, Tejo looked panicked, like a person who was caught stealing.
Tejo seemed to be in a hurry to finish the conversation on his phone, then put the object into his pants pocket.
"Aren't you in your garden anymore?" tejo asked, when Anang was walking, he was close to where he was standing.
"There's nothing I need to do now, there," Anang said, as he continued walking.
"Why aren't you home yet?" ask Anang.
"Eh, I just called the landlord. He asked how the people who will work in his field, all of them asked if his seeds had been delivered or not" said Tejo, who walked next to Anang.
"Eh, Nang! When you got here, the power supply was coming to the barracks, or not?" ask Tejo.
"No, not yet" said Anang.
"Wooh! If they cancel the electricity today, then those people will stay in the dark tonight" Tejo said, looking anxious.
They've entered Tejo's courtyard.
Without stopping again, Anang then continued to walk into the kitchen, and prepare food to be cooked, which would be lunch for the two of them.
Tejo was no less busy in the kitchen to help Anang.
