Anang, Mr. Handoko, also Tejo, spent their time until late afternoon sitting in the Tejo hut.
Anang had burned a few pieces of cassava, which Tejo took from one of the gardens nearby.
By enjoying grilled cassava, and black coffee, the three of them chatted casually, about the rice fields, both obstacles and benefits.
Mr. Handoko, who seemed to be enjoying his time there, excitedly responded to all of Tejo and Anang's talk.
As they chatted, occasionally Handoko greeted with a smile, to other farmers who worked under Tejo, or just passing near them.
Mr. Handoko seemed increasingly interested, to find a place to live for him in the Anang village.
Both Anang and Tejo, in the wishes of Mr. Handoko, in order to give him information just in case someone wants to sell the land, or the house.
Excited Pak Handoko said, if he wants to keep catfish, chicken, and duck to be his busyness later in the village.
Anang and Tejo just looked at each other with a smile, when they saw Handoko, who seemed happy when he told her his plan in the village later.
Until the three of them walk back to Tejo's house, Handoko still looks happy and excited.
In fact, the old man had stopped by, and greeted some villagers, who he saw on the street, or who were gathering on the side of the road.
Anang with Tejo stopped by to sit in front of Tejo's house, letting Mr. Handoko go to take a bath first.
"Sir Handoko, it's so much spirit...!" chirps Tejo.
Anang laughed softly.
"Yes... Probably because I stayed in town too long. If there is a neighbor next to the house, it is not necessarily able to greet each other," said Anang.
"He asked me many times to find a place to live" Tejo said, shaking his head.
"City people want to move to the village, many villagers want to live in the city," continued Tejo.
"Eh! You insinuating me?" said Anang, laughing.
Tejo laughed there too.
"No! You just bought a garden here, how can you stay in the city forever then?!" tejo Sahut.
"In the city it is suitable to seek sustenance only. Still, if it starts to get tired, the village becomes the most comfortable place to live" Anang chirped, leaning his back in the chair, until almost lying down.
"If I have more sustenance, I will build a small house in one corner of my garden. So, I'm not worried that you kicked me out." continued Anang.
"Whatdidyou say? You think I'm that son of a bitch?!" said Tejo, who kicked slowly Anang's leg, laughing.
Anang just laughed, putting both his hands on his head.
"Obviously, I still have to wait in this village, until the plants are two years old, then I can go back to looking for money in the city" said Anang.
"No problem... If you can't build your own house yet, just stay here with me" Tejo said.
"Let my friends fight." Tejo continued, laughing.
"You want to fight with me?" anang asked jokingly, laughing.
"Wanna try it?" sahut Tejo who shook his fists in front of his chest.
Anang looked at Tejo's ridiculous behavior, shaking his head.
"Since childhood we never fought. Until now, it's been this big and then you're asking me to fight? Never mind...!" said Anang lightly.
The two of them laughed together.
"What's the rame-rame?" asked Mr. Handoko, who suddenly appeared at the door.
"We're just kidding, sir!" tejo Sahut.
"Anang, you want to take a shower first?" ask Tejo.
Mr. Handoko then walked over, and took a seat on the terrace seat.
"Hmmm... You take a shower first" said Anang.
Tejo stood up and walked into the house.
"It's been a long time, sir! Since we were very small" Anang said.
Mr. Handoko nodded his head.
"Which old house is Anang?" ask Handoko.
"Those over there! Not far from here. Earlier, we passed it," said Anang while pointing in one direction.
"Oh... Means there's already occupying it now, huh?! Is there no other family here?" ask Handoko.
"There's still my Uncle... But I don't know where he lives now. I never saw him again" said Anang.
Mr. Handoko then invited Anang to tell a casual story, about Anang's childhood in the village.
When Anang told me, Mr. Handoko looked sad, as if he felt the sadness that Anang felt.
Finally, Anang switched the conversation, with the silly things Anang did with Anang's friends, in their school days.
Mr. Handoko occasionally laughs loosely, when there is an Anang story that he might think is funny, until Tejo finished bathing and getting dressed, and then sat down on it.
"I'm taking a shower, right?!" anang said, then stood up and walked in, leaving Mr. Handoko with Tejo.
Anang immediately went to take a bath, and after finishing the bath and getting dressed, Anang made them hot tea for the three of them, then brought them to the front porch.
When Anang reached the terrace, Pak Handoko was seen busy talking on his phone, as well as Tejo, who also spoke on his phone, while standing in the front yard of his house.
Anang who did not want to disturb Mr. Handoko, then sat down in a chair that was located a bit away from Mr. Handoko.
Then he checked his own phone.
Since this morning, Anang had not checked the object, and it was possible that Santi had contacted him.
Sure enough, there were some messages from Santi that entered on his phone this afternoon.
Anang sees Santi's contacts now active online, then tries to contact him.
But, Santi's contact is on another call.
Anang then sees Handoko and Tejo alternating.
The two people were still busy talking on his phone, and Anang could not guess if there was one of them who was now talking to Santi.
It could have been, if Santi was talking to someone else, and not with Mr. Handoko or Tejo.
Long enough Anang sat there waiting, both Tejo and Mr. Handoko, still talking on his phone.
Back Anang tried to contact Santi.
Still the same, Santi's contacts are still in another call.
Anang then typed in a message.
'I didn't check my phone.'
'If you're not busy, call me.'
Later, Anang sends the messages to Santi's contacts.
Instead of sitting there doing nothing, after Anang put his phone back in his pants pocket, Anang stood up and walked into the house.
Anang prepared foodstuffs, to be added to the dinner of the three of them later.
It seems, long enough Anang alone in the kitchen.
Until finished all foodstuffs prepared Anang, Anang's phone has no signs of being contacted, or get a reply message from Santi.
Anang was not too willing to think about strange things, Anang then busy cooking food, until everything was cooked, and ready to be served.
When Anang finished storing cooked food into the food hood, then Anang's phone rang and vibrated.
Santi contacted Anang via video call as usual.
