LUNA (SUBSTITUTE WOMAN)

LUNA (SUBSTITUTE WOMAN)
ARJUNA'S CONFESSION

The sound of the waves coming and going sounded so sweet in Luna's ears. At least by hearing the sound of the waves and feeling how the cool breeze that spoils it makes Luna forget for a moment the problem she was facing. He can forget what it feels like to be lonely, what it feels like to miss his mother, and what it's like to live a chaotic life.

Luna sighed, then drowned her face between the two knees that she had since folded in such a way.

"Why is there always trouble in my life?" Luna muttered. A drop of clear liquid fell from both of his eye pellets. He could not help himself from crying. Everything he did was too heavy and made him want to give up.

A moment later Luna felt a subtle touch at the top of her head. He lifted his face from both knees, then looked up to see who dared to touch him.

"Sir, are you here?" Luna was surprised to see who someone who was so brave to touch and rub the top of her head so gently.

"I'm looking for you everywhere, Lun," said Arjuna. His worried-looking face gradually looks relieved.

Luna knew that Arjuna wasn't lying. The man's body was sweating, when the weather was not hot at the moment, and Arjuna's breathless breathing proved that Arjuna's words were correct. The man must have run around the beach looking for him. For a moment Luna felt sorry for making Arjuna so worried.

"Where do you know that I'm here?" ask Luna.

Arjuna sat beside Luna while folding both knees, just like Luna did.

"From the driver who drove you here. The cab driver came to the office and-"

"What to ask for?" Luna cut off Arjuna's words. "I told you tomorrow I'd come to the office to get paid. I'm sorry, so you have to spend money because of me. I'll change it if I have the money."

Arjuna raised his eyebrows. "You took a taxi without paying?" Arjuna pretended to be surprised.

"Why are you surprised? Didn't the driver tell you everything that I didn't pay for the cab."

Arjuna. "No. The driver didn't tell me. He just came and tried to meet someone named Mr. Juna, and said that a woman named Luna cried in her cab and asked to be picked up by someone called Zi from Mr. Juna's house."

Luna threw away her face. He is being misbehaved now because the driver complained about what he said while in the taxi.

Arjuna sighed, then looked at the blue sky that looked so bright. "Are you so unhappy, Luna, that you cried in a taxi and asked Zion to pick you up from my house? Does living with me make you feel tormented? Do you hate me and our marriage?" Arjuna asked Luna so many questions.

"No, sir, absolutely not. I'm not hating you and also everything you mentioned earlier, I'm just-"

"Stop calling me by name, sir if we're just the two of us."

Luna nodded. "Sorry."

"Well," said Luna again.

"Tell me Luna, are you angry because of Vishnu's words? You're mad at me because you know that I once came to the Red House and I finally can't forget a woman who was there? Maybe you think that I've slept with that woman."

Luna just shut up. He didn't want to bother evading. After all, everything Arjuna said was true. He was angry because Arjuna thought of one of the women who was there. After all, it was impossible if Arjuna did not sleep with that woman. All the women in the Red House are pela_cur, it is impossible if Arjuna just chatted all night with the woman.

Arjuna looked at Luna without blinking. He then brought his face closer to Luna and said, "See me if I'm talking. Don't look down like that, I can't see your pretty face."

Luna did not speak of Arjuna. He stayed down as before. He was too hurt and jealous. If until he sees Arjuna's face at this time, then what comes to his mind must be negative and indecent things.

"All right, I'll tell you something. You can believe it or not, but you need to know that being honest right now." Arjuna took his seat, and began to say, "About a month ago, I met an old friend at the Red House. Looks like he's too drunk to be able to go to our meeting place that we've previously arranged." Arjuna paused for a while, waiting for Luna to react, but the woman remained as silent as before.

Arjuna continued, "When I was there, I saw a woman coming out of a room. The woman was wearing only a bathrobe, and her face was bleeding. I'm sure he must have been in a lot of pain at the time. I wanted to help her, but I don't know why I did. To this day, I feel sorry and guilty. Sometimes it comes to my mind, how the woman is doing now. Is she alive or dead, is she cured or still sick, and what haunts my mind the most is 'Woman is a hostage or not?"

Luna remained silent. He knew very well who the woman Arjuna was talking about. The bath-robed lady with a face full of blood was herself when she had just served Bimo Arkana.

Hearing what Arjuna said made Luna cry. Luna still remembered the moment that there was indeed a voice of a man who was worried about her, she did not expect that it turned out that the man was Arjuna.

"I'm sorry, because I had bad thoughts about you .. hem, I mean about you."

Arjuna rubbed Luna's wet cheeks. "Why are you crying. Do you trust me now!

Luna nodded.

Seeing the nod, Arjuna immediately pulled Luna into his arms and hugged the woman tightly. "From now on, trust me."

Luna nodded. Not to mention he spoke to Arjuna, Luna's stomach suddenly sounded from hunger. Hearing that voice, Arjuna laughed.

"You hungry? You can eat anything and as much as you want. Tell me what do you want to eat?" asked Arjuna with a palm that was in Luna's stomach.

"I don't want to eat. I'm just thirsty." Luna replied timidly.

"All right, let's go back home. It's getting late in the afternoon, you need enough rest too so that the baby is not tired."

Seriate.
