LUNA (SUBSTITUTE WOMAN)
RECEIVING THE PRESENCE OF A SECOND SON-IN-LAW

Generously listening to all the explanations from Arjuna without interrupting at all. The atmosphere was so silent, only Arjuna's voice could be heard filling the room, explaining all the chronology of how he finally got to know Luna and married Luna.

Neither Philanthropist Evan nor Bimo would have thought that such a thing could happen in real life. Especially in the Carnation section who pretend to be pregnant and tie a pillow on the stomach whenever anyone comes.

"So that's exactly what happened, Dad. Luna was not at all a domestic destroyer between me and Anye, nor was it the cause of the estrangement between me and Anye. It was Anye who was behind all this. It was she who insisted that Luna would marry me and conceive my son. Luna even had to be willing to lose her normal life, job, and also lover because she obeyed the stubborn desire of Carnations. If Luna did not comply with Anyelir's wishes, Carnations threatened to injure her as she had done." Arjuna ended his long explanation while touching Luna's palm and squeezing it gently.

Bimo sighed while shaking his head, meanwhile Generosity could only rub his face lethargic and throw a gaze at Luna and Arjuna alternately.

"I don't know what's on your mind so you're playing this charade and lying to me and to Mary. However, I can draw the conclusion that it is true that Luna sacrificed a lot and suffered a lot. I'm sorry to you, Luna, I'm really sorry for my stupidity for misjudging you." The benefactor put his hands together before Luna as a sign that he was truly sorry.

Luna shook her head and immediately touched the generous hand, returning the wrinkled hand on the lap of the Benefactor. "Don't apologize, sir, you're completely innocent. I'm the one who should apologize for lying to you."

The benefactor again sighed. "After becoming my son-in-law, why do you still call me Master. Call me father, just as Arjuna and Anyelir call me."

Both Luna's eyes widened, she did not expect that Dermawan would say so.

Seeing the surprised and confused expression in Luna's eyes, Dermawan then smiled, a smile that looked so sincere and soothing.

"I can't possibly ignore the fact that your status is my son's legitimate wife. That's why I acknowledge your position as my son-in-law, just like Carnations."

"But, sir, I am .. I mean, there are other facts you don't yet know about me. I was a-"

"Everybody has a past and a dark side to his life. No human being wants to live with a trampled self-esteem. I'm sure you have your own reasons. I have no problem with your previous work, what matters to me is how you are now and in the future" said Dermawan, with great wisdom.

Luna crying. He did not expect that the Benefactor would forgive and accept his existence so easily. He also did not expect that Dermawan would not revile him and cast him out to leave Arjuna, but the Benefactor knew that he was only a prostitute.

Seeing Luna crying, Arjuna started crying, and Arjuna hugged Luna, letting Luna cry in her arms.

"It's amazing, so lucky that Arjuna has two wives, ckckck," Bimo murmured.

The benefactor knocked Bimo's head hard. "Married if you want to have a wife, do not keep going to the brothel, because someday venereal disease will definitely attack you, Bim."

Bimo shuddered. "Om don't swear at me."

Bimo chuckled, then he got up. "Let's go back home. I think we should explain everything to your mother" Bimo said.

Arjuna released his embrace on Luna's body. "Wouldn't we keep this a secret for a while, Dad? I'm afraid Mama's gonna get mad and kick Luna out."

Bimo. "I don't want to keep any secrets from Mary. It's the same I lied to her if I didn't tell her straight away, and I never liked lying to your mother."

"But, if mama kicked Luna out how?" ask Arjuna.

Bimo smile. "He couldn't possibly do that, because he was looking forward to his granddaughter's presence."

Arjuna smiled. He knew that what his father said had a point. Maria will not be able to expel Luna, especially now that Luna is pregnant with the successor of the Evan family.

If Arjuna and Luna had just felt a tremendous relief from no longer keeping secrets from the Benefactor Evan, it was different from what happened to the Carnation.

Now Anyelir is looking so panicked because Sabrina who accidentally pushed and fainted has not been conscious. It was not only that that made Carnations panic, a considerable amount of blood kept coming out of Sabrina's head nonstop.

Carnations cried and knelt beside Sabrina. His body was trembling and sweating. He did not know what action he should take right now. If he took Sabrina to the hospital, the doctor would have asked a lot of questions and he could have been entangled by the law because of the events that happened to Sabrina, but if he remained silent, Sabrina could have died before him at this very moment.

Carnations took a deep breath, and after thinking for a moment he finally decided to call an ambulance, after all no one knew the real incident. He could have made up the story and said that Sabrina slipped, or he could have said that once he opened the door, it turned out that Sabrina was already on his porch in a state of unconsciousness.

Carnations stood up, then ran into the house to call the Ambulance. After waiting for a while finally the ambulance arrived along with the arrival of Dermawan, Arjuna, and Luna.

"What's up, Carnation?" asked Arjuna, who got off the car as soon as he saw an Ambulance stop right in front of his porch.

Carnations are unable to speak. He simply pointed to the floor, where Sabrina was still lying in a pool of her own blood.

"Sabrina! Oh, my God, what happened?!" shouted Arjuna, who was so surprised to see Sabrina.

Carnation shakes. "I don't know. When I opened the door, he was already there and his head was bleeding. I'm so scared, Juna, I'm so scared." Carnations covered the face with trembling hands.

Arjuna approached Anyelir and hugged the woman to be calmer. "Calm down, Nye, you're doing the right thing by calling an ambulance.

Carnations just shut up.

Arjuna then released his embrace from the body of Carnation, then approached the medics and said he would follow to the hospital.

The medics nodded and immediately left Jeremy's residence once Sabrina had been inside the ambulance.

"Come on, Nye, we need to get straight to the hospital. Sabrina can't be there alone." Arjuna pulled the arm of the Carnation and led the Carnation to get into the car he was driving.

Carnations according, and how surprised he was to see who was in the car.

"Luna. Dad," murmured Carnations.

Generous smile. "Hi, Carnations, it's nice to meet you, and it's nice to be in a car with two of my daughters-in-law at once."

Carnations look so surprised. He glanced at Luna for a glance before saying, "What did Father say? I love to joke." Carnations try to smile.

"I don't like to joke, Anye, you know that. You're the one who's joking and playing me right now, right?"

"Dad." Carnations stammered, he did not know what to say to Donation now. "Toying with what Dad meant?"

The benefactor sighed, before saying, "Just tell me where your stomach is?"
