It was five o'clock in the afternoon that Alvaro opened the private room door. He did not see his wife in the bed or bathroom.
Both of Alvaro's eyes saw Lethicia on the balcony sitting on the chair there. Alvaro smiled seeing him seem so focused on his reading book.
"What book did you read Lethicia? You're very serious" asked Alvaro, leaning his shoulder against the door, carrying both hands in his pants pocket.
"Book on pregnancy and the names of twins, Varo. It turns out your secretary Antonella has excellent reading references. I love all the books she chose for me" Lethicia smiled.
"I'm glad to hear it", replied Alvaro briefly heard Alvaro's heavy breathing. Lethia realized that.
"Darling what's wrong? Looks like you're thinking a lot" asked Lethicia to close the book she was reading. Lethicia also knew that if Alvaro had put both his hands in his pants pocket, it was a sign that he was thinking hard.
"What's the matter, honey, are you having a lot of trouble with your work?", asked Lethicia to move from her seat and pull Alvaro's hand into the room.
Alvaro did not make a sound, he followed Lethicia's hand. Both of them sat on the edge of the bed.
Alvaro took another breath, and a moment later massaged his forehead.
"Darling.there's something I have to tell you. You have to know a secret" Alvaro said.
"What's wrong, Varo, you're scaring me" Retorted Lethicia looked at Alvaro who was thinking.
"I'll show you something, baby. I beg you to calm down and don't panic. I don't want anything to do with you and our daughter Lethicia".
At once Lethenia's face paled. "Tell Varo what's going on, you're getting me anxious".
Alvaro kneels before Lethicia while taking the white envelope of DNA test results he and Nikolas who is actually Assensio's sister.
"Read" said Alvaro quietly as he gave the envelope to Lethicia.
"DNA result?", said Lethicia staring fixed face her husband right in front of her. Both of Alvaro's hands huddled Lethicia's thighs.
"Open up and read it, you'll find out soon".
Suddenly his body felt cold. And both of his eyes were heating up. "That's right, that man is Assensio, Varo?" Lethicia said.
Without Lethicia, her tears would fall on her face. Falling by itself.
"Yes, Lethi. Nicholas is Assensio. Two weeks ago at the signing of a cooperation contract at the company, I planned everything. They all made a toast after the signing of the agreement. And the glass that Assensio uses is directly under Hector to test our DNA matches" Alvaro said, explaining why there could be a DNA letter.
"Actually I hesitated to say this to you, I was afraid you were shaken again which was not good for you and our child. But I think you should know that no matter how married you are. I don't want you to know the truth from someone else. But I already know the truth. I want honesty to be the cornerstone of our household life. Although it will hurt to hear an honesty but it is better said" said Alvaro.
Lethicia wiped her tears with the back of her hand. "Varo I'm sorry to cry, it's really not my wish but I'm surprised to see this fact that your sister is still alive" said Lethicia.
"You don't misunderstand Varo, since I was pregnant I've completely forgotten Assensio and there's only you in my heart. But however the news that he was still alive still made me shed tears", sobs Lethicia with a body shaking.
Alvaro hugged Lethicia's body. "It's okay dear if by crying makes your heart relieved then cry on my shoulder" whispered Alvaro rubbed gently on his wife's back.
"Thank you dear, because you are always understanding to ", said Lethicia as she clenched her arms and resuscitated her teary face soaked in Alvaro's work shirt.
A moment later, after Lethicia calmed down.
"Darling, there's something else I want to say. A week ago Assensio was married to Tatiana".
Alvaro's words made Lethicia raise her head. He saw her breathing.
"I hope Assensio finds his happiness in Varo", Lethicia firmly grasped Alvaro's hand.
For Lethicia the news of Assensio Tatiana's marriage was good news. Especially for Lethicia so that Tatiana does not disturb alvaro anymore. And for Assensio, Lethicia sincerely wishes him to find happiness in marriage with Tatiana like he and Alvaro today. Lethicia was really happy with her marriage. Moreover, in a moment he and Alvaro will get a baby.
