Finally Aileen underwent surgery for her uterus. Samuel faithfully accompanied her in the operating room while still waiting for the doctor's arrival. As soon as the man who was waiting for it arrived, the alert husband reluctantly left his beloved wife and sat waiting outside.

Samuel prayed in his heart that the act of curettage would go well. He surrenders to the will of Almighty God. He believed Aileen would recover soon and be able to live life well again.

His parents told him not to go to the hospital. “According to doctors, this curettage action is very small risk. Aileen can go straight home two hours after the action is completed,” she told Tina who insisted on accompanying her son and daughter-in-law in the hospital.

Aileen said the same thing to Ernie. His mother could understand. But he requested that after returning from the hospital, Aileen stay at his home for a while.

“You have to rest a lot and consume healthy food after being caged, son,” Ernie said attentively. “So that your health condition quickly recovers and your uterus is healthy again.”

Aileen was actually willing to fulfill her mother's request. But she felt bad if she made a decision without negotiating first with her husband. Samuel had treated her well all along. Asking her husband's permission first was a form of Aileen's respect and gratitude for him.

“Nothing,” replied Samuel gently. “Just stay at your parents' house until your health is restored. I'll see you every day.”

“Atau...,” said Aileen ventured. “Perhaps you would like to stay there, Sam? Not for long, though. At least one week. Than to stay in this house alone.”

Her husband was surprised. Aileen wants company living in her parents' house? But that means they have to stay in one room!

He looked at his wife closely. The woman was embarrassed. Face lowered. Samuel's heart was as fresh as cold water. He was flattered by Aileen's request. But again a sense of inferiority disturbed the man's heart.

“Leen...,” he said later. “I do not mind accompanying you to stay at your parents' house. But that means we have to sleep in the room. Are you okay?”

Suddenly the wife showed her face. A very sweet smile expands from his au look. Makes her husband's heart shake matchless.

“I don't have a problem, Sam. Really.”

The wife's meaningful answer made Samuel's heart both joyful and anxious. Oh my God, what do I do next? the man screamed in his heart. Facing Aileen who fell in love with me felt much harder than her while still being indifferent!

After the curettage was declared to be in full swing and Aileen went through an unimpeded observation period of two hours, Samuel took her home to Harris and Ernie. In the car is ready two suitcases containing personal needs pairs husband and wife for the next week.

Arriving at the residence of the in-laws, Samuel carefully guided his wife into the house. Harris and Ernie welcome their arrival with hilarious feelings.

“You okay, Leen?” ask Aileen her mother. “Still hurt?”

The princess just shook her head slowly. “No power whatsoever, Ma,” he said softly. “Kan Aileen drugged earlier. Later after dinner are told to take pain medication as well.”

Ernie's face looked relieved. She was grateful that this act of curettage on her daughter did not seem to have any negative effects. He sent his baby to his bedroom first.  Samuel went out of the house to get the suitcases out of his car.

“No need, Pa,” reject Samuel smooth. “Just pull this. Not heavy, though. There's wheels downstairs. Hehehe...”.

The father-in-law was grimacing. Finally, he left his daughter-in-law to take care of the two suitcases. After putting the two items into the bedroom he was going to be in with Aileen, Samuel rushed to the sink to wash his hands.

Next the young man was invited to sit on the sofa of the family room by Harris. Aileen's biological father invited her to a conversation.

“Aileen's condition seems fine, Sam,” said the middle-aged man starting the conversation. His facial expression looked serious. It was seen that she was actually worried about her single daughter's situation.

“The doctor said, so, Pa,” replied the son-in-law politely. “The action of the cure went well. After a two-hour observation period, there seemed to be no complications whatsoever. But one more week Aileen had to see a doctor to monitor her progress.”

Harris muttered to listen to the explanation of her son's husband. He was silent for a moment. Samuel did not dare to harass his father-in-law. He himself was feeling a bit tired.

Suddenly, Harris said, “Sam, you've only been married for about four months. Then came this appalling event. Papa's little heart feels guilty.…”

The son-in-law was flabbergasted. What do these words of papa Aileen mean? the man's mind was full of question marks. Why does she feel guilty about the incident of an empty fetus that her child has conceived?

I heard her father-in-law's long breath. Then his words that followed later, “Papa felt.If the match between you and Aileen did not happen, you would not suffer like this. Ah, sometimes parents can act selfishly under the pretext of doing it for the happiness of their children. Forgive Papa, Sam. It's got you in trouble this serious. Papa will also apologize to Aileen. His facial expression looked calm. He touched his father-in-law's heart.

“Nak Sam, there's something Papa wants to ask. Please answer honestly. Because this is very important for Papa and..ehm..the future of your marriage with Aileen.”.

Samuel's forehead is wrinkled. Why was my marriage brought up? inner curious. Everything has already happened. Why do you talk again?

“Is Son Sam happy living a household life with Aileen? If not, Papa does not matter if your marriage is terminated as soon as possible.”.

Samuel slipping. Unexpectedly those words would come out of his father-in-law's mouth. End marriage with Aileen? Divorced her? Waw!

“Do not worry, Son Sam,” Harris said again. “Papa can accept any decision Son Sam. Two-three days from now Papa will also ask Aileen directly. Apologize to him. If now it feels less timely. The condition of Papa's child has not recovered.”

Samuel's mouth was still tightly shut. He doesn't know what to say.
