Chapter 6 - Best Friends

Ana's neck experienced something similar like sprains. He also felt his neck feel stiff and painful. Several people who passed around the scene of Ana's accident pulled over. They begin to come and gather to help Ana. Meanwhile, the two debt collectors went away.

Some residents called for police and medical assistance. A man who tried to help Ana, began to struggle when the woman could not move her neck, even if only to nod her head. Ana could not even move her neck to look to the right or left side. Pain felt from the base of the skull to the direction of his forehead.

"Don't move his neck! I think he had an injury to his neck" said the man, who is a medical worker.

The other helper nodded and complied. They treat Ana's body carefully until an ambulance arrives to pick her up. Shortly after, an ambulance arrives and takes Ana to the City Hospital.

"Ah, thank goodness! I don't think you're gonna make it this time!" the woman was low-pitched and sobbing.

Risa's voice clearly implied joy and gratitude. Both of his eyes also looked teary.

"You think I'm that weak, '" said Ana, as usual, full of pride.

Risa said it sincerely. She was very worried about Ana.

"Hmmmm, still the old Ana. I was hoping that you would lose your memory and turn into a sweet, friendly girl. Turns out, you're still the proud Ana!" Risa reaches for a bottle of mineral water on the nightstand next to Ana's bed.

Ana had seen Risa rub the corner of her eyes so that the clear circle did not drip.

Ana was still trying to digest the situation, but one thing she clearly felt when her body was not as sick as it was in the beginning. An infusion was stuck in the back of her hand and it's possible that doctors had given her painkillers so it didn't feel as painful as it did when she had just had an accident.

"You were unconscious for about a week. You should thank me first. I've been waiting for you while you're here you know!" lamented Risa.

"Oh, is that your job? You gotta take care of me, Sa."

Ana tries to get up but her head is still beating violently coupled with a cervical collar attached to her neck.

"What happened to you, anyway? Why did you get to this?" risa asked again full of worries.

Ana cleared her throat slowly, before trying to ask Risa to get some drinking water. The beautiful woman's throat was dry.

"You don't know my other news? Diana hasn't paid the boutique bank installment yet. He also doesn't take care of my credit card bills. Then, I was chased by two giant debt collectors. But, really bad luck is now happening to me, until I am here," replied Ana.

Risa then sat down after putting down the mineral water that Ana had just drank. Shortly after, he got up again.

"Oh yeah, wait a minute. I'll call the doctor. They should know you're conscious."

Risa then uncovers the curtains to go to the table where the nurses are. Shortly after, the girl returned.

"Said the nurse wait a little while longer," said Risa kindly and then continued saying, "Doctor Richard will come and check on you soon."

"Sa, who's covering the cost of this hospital?" ask Ana.

"I'm taking care of your insurance, right? Fortunately your insurance payment and mine are still smooth. The insurance will cover it. Though I could have wished you dead, so the compensation fund would have come out bigger and be able to pay the Heavenly Boutique debts," Risa replied as she chuckled.

However, the girl was already preparing to hear Ana going berserk expecting Ana to die. But that didn't happen. Ana only looked at Risa flatly but in her heart she was grateful to know that this woman still wanted to be with her and take care of her.

"Thank you, Sa," said Ana.

Risa looked up and looked in disbelief. Even he checked his ear hole for fear that there was dirt clogging to be sure. Because, Ana is very difficult to say the word "thank you" as long as they are friends.

"What did you say? Thank you?" risa's asking convinced her hearing.

Ana still stuck her net on the innocent face of her best friend.

"Yes, thank you." Ana reviewed the smile.

Risa hugged Ana. He could no longer hold back his tears.

Deep in Ana's heart, she is again grateful that the universe sent a friend as good as Risa. He was always ashamed to admit it.
