Chapter 12 Adam is kicked out of the house

After getting a reprimand in his office, Adam began to work better. The publicity material Naufal requested, he had to work on that day. At 9 p.m., Adam arrived at his house. After putting his car into the garage, Adam opened the door and entered the house. However, how surprised Adam when he saw Elfira sitting on the sofa with two large suitcases lined up next to him.

Adam was very surprised to hear the words of Elfira, his body was very tired because it had to work until night. Intentions heart wants to rest, but instead he was kicked out of the house.

Elfira pushed Adam's body to make him fall and sit on the floor, then Elfira rose from her seat.

Elfira pulls Adam's suitcase towards the door, with Adam quickly getting up and chasing after Elfira and holding her hand. Adam stared fixedly at his wife's face, it turns out only Adam realized his wife's eyes reddened and slightly swollen. His face looked sweet and tired, whether Elfira cried all day. Adam felt that he had hurt Elfira. There was a sense of unbearability that perched in Adam's heart.

Not wanting to force his will again, Adam chose to give up and maybe it was better for him to leave this house and give Elfira time to calm down. Maybe later if Elfira had calmed down a little, Adam would have tried to persuade Elfira to drop her divorce suit.

"Well, if you want to go. But please, please consider and give us one more chance. I don't want to lose you and Anindya" said Adam.

Adam was speechless, and he had taken the suitcase from Elfira's hand. With a shunt Adam dragged both his suitcases out of the house. When Adam was at the end of the door, he stopped his steps and turned to look at Elfira who was standing behind him. Adam stared at the wife's soft back which seemed to shake, as if Elfira was crying.

"I'm sorry that you've hurt your heart too deeply dear" whispered Adam. After that Adam dragged back his suitcase and without looking back again he continued to walk away from their house. Even the car he drives every day he does not carry, because Adam knows he has no right to carry it. The car is a car left by both Elfira parents when they lived first.

After Adam left and was no longer seen, Elfira walked straight to the door, closed the door and leaned behind the door. Elfira slid her body to the floor, unable to hold back her tears. Elfira cried as she pleased, she had been enduring such a stifling pain in her chest. Elfira's body trembled as she let out all her cries.

After being evicted from the house of Elfira, Adam walked in an uncertain direction. The only place he could go right now was Sandra's house. Adam kept walking all the way to Sandra's house, yes he was really on foot. Tonight his fate was really apes, had received a warning from the office, until at home he was expelled, instead, then now he had to walk to Sandra's house which was a good distance away from his house and Elfira, since then he walked while occasionally turning to see a passing taxi, which was a taxi, but until she reached Sandra's house, not a single taxi passed by. Sandra closed the door and chased after Adam who had walked first and entered their room, before not forgetting Sandra locked the door of her house.

"Mas, why are you" asked Sandra when she saw Adam lying on their bed, his face looking tired, sweat running down his face. Even Adam did not have time to take off his shoes and change his clothes that looked wet with sweat. Seeing that, Sandra took the initiative to open Adam's shoes and put them in a corner near the door of her room.

"Change clothes first mas" painstakingly Sandra opened Adam's shirt, although Adam remained lying down, but did not make Sandra feel difficulty. Sandra wiped the sweat off Adam's body with a small towel she had taken from the closet. Not to forget also Sandra put on a thin t-shirt so that Adam does not get cold. Adam's work pants also he opened and replaced them with shorts that he used to wear while in the house.

Because of the fatigue and drowsiness that attacked him, Adam was no longer concerned and let Sandra open and replace her clothes. Until finally he fell asleep and was lulled into dreamland.

Sandra sat on the empty bed next to Adam, in her eyes attached to the face of the man she loved so much. There was a sense of pity to see Adam who looked exhausted and like there was sadness implied on his face. Sandra had no idea what had happened to her. However, if you remember Adam's cruel deeds and words towards him, there is pain and resentment towards the man. I want him to stick a knife in Adam's stomach right now. However, his love is too deep to make Sandra forget all her pain. Once again, Sandra tried to accept the man even though she had to continue being hurt repeatedly.

"I love you so much, though I know, in your heart there is only the name of your wife. But I'm not giving up on getting your whole heart. And I hope that one day you will see my sincerity" Sandra muttered softly as she looked at the face of Adam who had fallen asleep.

Sandra also lies next to Adam, pulled a blanket to cover her neck and closed her eyes after Adam who had already floated to dreamland.
