Chapter 28 Sandra's Coming Home

Sandra had been at her parents' house for two months, and she had no idea how her husband was doing. Neither Sandra nor Adam contacted each other. Sandra didn't even know Adam was in jail. "I have to go home now." Sandra walked towards the wardrobe and picked up her suitcase that she had stored in there. One by one he put his clothes in a suitcase.

"Where are you going, San, where are you taking all the suitcases?" puspa asked when he saw his son come out of the room by groping his suitcase and holding Axel.

"I want to go home ma, Axel kangen the same mas Adam said," answered Sandra.

"Why not on the phone anyway, tell him to come here. You are pregnant, pity you if you go here and there with a big stomach like that," said Puspa who could not bear to see Sandra.

"It's ma, but Adam's cell phone is off. I'm worried something's happening to her."

Sandra booked a taxi online to get to her house. An hour's drive from her parents' home, Sandra finally arrives at her own home.

As soon as she got in front of her house, Sandra opened the fence and walked in. "Why is the yard so dirty" Sandra murmured as she looked at the dry leaf litter strewn across the courtyard. The house looked empty as if it was uninhabited.

Sandra reached into her bag and searched for the house key, as soon as she got it Sandra immediately put the key into the keyhole and turned it around.

Sandra walked in, but her steps came to a halt as Axel pulled his shirt. Sandra lowered her head and looked at her son, "why dear?" ask Sandra to Axel.

"Atut," he said. Axel hides behind Sandra's body for fear of seeing her dark house. The light in the room was off, Sandra tried to push the switch button but it remained off. Fortunately it was still daytime, so there was still sunlight entering the house.

"It's okay, baby, there's a mama" said Sandra to calm her son. Sandra watched the entire messy room. Bottles of drinks scattered, garbage from food was not thrown away. This was what made the pungent scent pierce his nose when the door was just opened earlier.

Sandra sighed because it seemed like she was going to work hard cleaning her house. But before that, Sandra had to evacuate Axel first to her neighbor's house.

Saskia is Sandra's neighbor, only three houses away from Sandra's house. It can be said they are close enough because Saskia likes to play with Axel. Sandra immediately shook her head answering Saskia's question. He really doesn't know anything. For two months, she had not once communicated with her husband. That was why Sandra was so shocked when she heard the news delivered by Saskia earlier.

Looks like Sandra's gonna have to see Adam in jail tomorrow. She had to ask why her husband was arrested. After leaving Axel to Saskia, Sandra went back to her house and worked hard to clean up the very messy house.
