Married to Ex-Husband Boss

Married to Ex-Husband Boss
Chapter 18 Adam is jealous

Elfira was forced to come home with Erlangga, the man continued to force her to make Elfira feel bad if she kept rejecting him.

In the car, Elfira and Erlangga were silent to each other. There were no conversations along the way to Elfira's house. Erlangga who focus on the road in front of him, and Elfira who focus on staring at the road from the side glass of the car.

"Your house is still a complex with the house of Aunt Halimah right" asked Erlangga suddenly, breaking the silence between them.

"Yes" replied Elfira who only turned a glance at Erlangga, then looked back to the front.

After that they both fell silent again, until finally the car driven by Erlangga turned into a green hill housing complex, where Elfira lived.

"Where's your house, Fir?" asked Erlangga while glancing at Elfira at a glance.

"The house in front of it, the black fence" pointed at Elfira.

Erlangga stopped his car right in front of the house that was pointed at by Elfira earlier.

On the porch of the house of Elfira, there was Adam who was playing with Anindya. Adam saw a black F*rtuner stop right in front of Elfira's house.

Adam seemed to recognize the car, then before long, Elfira looked down from the car. His brows furrowed, asking inwardly, who drove Elfira home.

"Who are you going home with, Nin?" adam asked his son.

Anindya looked in the direction her father pointed to, "don't know, well. Anin does not know" said Anin honestly.

"Pak Erlangga" muttered Adam when Erlangga who came down with Elfira. "How can they know each other" he murmured again.

There was anger in Adam's heart when he saw his future ex-wife with another man. Though they have not officially divorced, but Elfira has dared to bring another man to her home.

Adam set his foot toward the gate of the house that was still tightly closed, though not in the key. Then he cleared his throat to let the two men know of his presence.

"Ekhem. How can you go home with Erlangga, Fir?" ask Adam in a flat tone.

Erlangga who knew nothing about the household problems of Elfira and Adam, so felt bad. He thought he had made Adam misunderstand.

"Sorry Mr. Adam, we met in the supermarket by accident. So all of you, I take your wife home" said Erlangga unpleasantly.

While Elfira felt Adam's attitude was excessive. Even though Adam is still her husband, she should not behave like that to someone who has been kind enough to bring Elfira home. Moreover, Erlangga is Adam's superior at work.

"You can't behave like that, ma'am" Elfira's reprimand made Adam snort angrily. "Sir Erlangga has been kind enough to take me home."

"Of course you can't go home by taxi, you're not afraid if you'll see the neighbors, what they say if you see you coming home from each other" Adam said.

"I don't care about the neighbor's talk, besides you don't have the right to talk like that. You forgot what you've been..."

"Sorry Mr. Adam, Elfira. I have to interrupt, you better not fight here, you guys just finish inside. It's not good to see the neighbors and there's your son watching, either." Erlangga.

"Once again I'm sorry, I shouldn't have delivered your wife. I know if my attitude is out of bounds." continued Erlangga.

"It's good that you're conscious" Adam quipped.

"Mas.." rebuked Elfira, she felt bad for Erlangga for Adam's attitude.

Erlangga also understood Adam's attitude, he knew if Adam was jealous. Which husband is not jealous if he sees his wife brought home by another man. If it was Erlangga, maybe he would behave the same way.

"In that case, I'll go home first. Again I am sorry. Assalamualaikum." pamit Erlangga only in response by Elfira.

"Girishal"

After Erlangga's departure, Elfira went straight into his house. He also invited Anindya to enter, not caring about Adam who had called him since.

"Fira, wait. I want to talk to you" cried Adam as he followed Elfira's quick steps.

The middle-aged woman who was his domestic assistant also appeared from the direction of the kitchen when her name was called. With a hasty move, the woman came to the master.

"Yes Ma'am" said Asih.

"Bik, bathe Anin please. After that, please accompany him to take a nap. Let me continue the work in the kitchen" Elfira ordered.

"Good Mom. Let's not." Asih also invited Anindya to enter his room. Elfira continued her steps to the kitchen while cleaning up the groceries she had bought.

"Fira, why are you ignoring me" Adam protested.

"Keep, I should care about you. You forget that soon we will be divorced" said Elfira while looking at Adam sharply.

"But we're not officially divorced yet, and your status is still my wife" Adam said.

"But that doesn't mean you can act like you can."

"Okay, I'm sorry. But I ask you, never bring another man home as long as we have not officially divorced, Fir" asked Adam who finally tried not to be provoked by anger.

"You don't have to advise me, I know what to do. It was also explained that I accidentally met Erlangga"

"And you could've refused, Fir."

"I've refused, but he's forcing. He said he wanted to meet Anin"

Adam went silent to digest the words of Elfira, "meet Anin" murmured Adam.

"That means you've met before?" asked Adam curiously.

"Yes, we accidentally met at Miss Halimah's store. Erlangga was his nephew Bu Halimah" explained Elfira.

"Mas hope this is the last time you meet Mr. Erlangga" said Adam made Elfira squinted at her husband's eyes.

"What right do you set me to meet with whom"

"You're still my wife Fir, so I'm entitled to forbid you from connecting with anyone"

"But we're getting a divorce, and you don't have the right to rule my life anymore."

"Who said we were going to get a divorce" Adam said, making Elfira furrow her eyebrows and stare at Adam.

"What do you mean" asked Elfira in a trembling voice.

"You hear me very well, I will not and will never divorce you."

"Mas.." snapped Elfira.

"You promised to let me go"

"Yes, that was. But after what I saw earlier, I will never let go of you Fir. I will never divorce you, and forever you will remain my wife."

After saying this, Adam left the house. Leaving behind Elfira who was looking at him sharply.

"Your son of a bitch, mas" cried Elfira with hunting breath. He was emotional with what Adam had said. Elfira hated the man so much, the man had already hurt him too deeply.
