Chapter 18 - Pay For Meyra

Adnan smiled and waved to reply to Ardy's call. He immediately grabbed Meyra's hand and invited her to take a picture with him.

Erik and his friends also looked up. They even left earlier than Adnan and Meyra.

"Come on," Adnan said. But Meyra just sculpted and stared in wonder at him.

"Are you sure you want to take a picture with me? You don't even know how I am, how I am." Meyra said. He was afraid that Adnan would get into trouble if caught close to him. Meyra was afraid that people who knew her knew of the baseless charade now. Adnan could have hit the stone. The reputation of the man could even be tarnished.

"Where might I not take you. Riani and the others could be suspicious. Anyway I haven't introduced you to Ardy," Adnan said forcefully.

Meyra grunts violently. He just complies. He and Adnan now saunter together towards pelaminan.

"Yinan! Is this the woman you're talking about?" ask Ardy who immediately directed his attention to Meyra. He shakes the woman.

"Yes, meet her name Meyra" Adnan responded with a smile and embraced Meyra. She welcomed Ardy's hand and smiled.

"Well, that's pretty. Adnan should be easy to move on," Ardy said, glancing at Riani. He got a punch on the shoulder from Adnan.

Riani looks pouted. He certainly understands that Ardy is insinuating himself.

Ardy pulls Adnan and whispers, "Everyone knows that Riani is cheating on you. I'm glad to see you happy. Hope your relationship with this one lasts..."

"Thank you" said Adnan. She, Meyra and the others immediately posed for photos.

Adnan deliberately held Meyra's hand so that the woman did not take off her armband. Meyra who understood Adnan's intentions, let it go.

Satisfied taking pictures, everyone said goodbye to Ardy to go home. Including Adnan and Meyra. The two stepped together like they had come.

"Laugh!" tell Adnan to walk with Meyra.

"Are you telling me to be crazy? We are far from your friends anyway. We're going home now" Meyra responded casually.

"Haha! You're so funny." Meyra laughed blandly. Adnan then chuckled with him.

Since then Riani did not stop diverting her attention from Adnan and Meyra. To be honest there was a sense of awkwardness in his heart. I don't know why Riani feels like something belongs to her is taken by people. Yeah, he feels a little jealous.

"Let's go home" Dion asked. Riani's husband. The man who is none other than his mistress and the father of his child.

"I want to go home alone. I want to go to the salon!" sahut Riani ketus's.

"alone? No. gabe. Let me accompany you, " said Dion.

"No. I want to be alone! You can't force. It's the wish of a pregnant woman!" Riani. Dion was silent.

On the other hand, Adnan and Meyra had already walked into the parking area. In a hurry, they took each other off with their hands.

"How much money do you want for this assignment?" ask Adnan.

"You're talking about my pay?" Meyra.

"Yes. Isn't it obvious?" Adnan extended his two hands into the air.

Meyra was silent for a moment. Until he thought about his debts to loan sharks.

"You're taking too long. Tell me when you've decided." Adnan who was tired of waiting, immediately got into the car.

Meyra rushed in. "I already know. I don't want payment. I want you to pay off all my debt!" revealed.

Adnan looked at Meyra. Then he nodded and said, "Alright."
