Married to the Son of Tahfiz Qur'An
Chapter 19 - Heavy Rain

The car is run by Adnan. As the car made its way out of the building, heavy rain was welcomed.

The rain was not only accompanied by lightning, but also strong winds. The sky even looked dark.

"Can you drive like this?" ask Meyra worriedly.

"could certainly. This kind of wind won't make a car fly, right?" respond to stubborn Adnan. He let his car run through the rain.

"Whatever. But I've reminded you" Meyra said. He tried to be calm despite being a little worried. "Be careful," he said. Just before Adnan's car entered the street. The man remained silent and answered nothing.

Adnan began to feel anxious when he began to have difficulty driving. Because the rush of rain makes the windshield of the car so blurred.

Unexpectedly, Adnan almost hit a car that suddenly appeared from the side.

"Yinan!" Meyra reflexes screeching.

Fortunately, Adnan can control the car well. So no serious impact occurred.

"We'd better just stop" Meyra suggested as she looked at Adnan with the corner of her eye.

"can't. It's too bad I have to stop by!" Adnan refused.

"Are you not afraid of accidents. We almost collided. If we are in trouble, what about Azam and Amena? The only person they have now is you" Meyra replied. Attempting to persuade by using the names of Azam and Amena.

Adnan was silent. Because of Meyra's words, she thought of Azam and Amena. I feel that the words of this woman have a point. Adnan pulled his car to the side. Decided to continue the journey when the rain subsided.

Meyra developed a smile. Turns out melting hard head Adnan need a good strategy.

Silence enveloped the atmosphere. Adnan uses his time by playing on his phone. But unexpectedly, Meyra stopped.

"You why?" Adnan demanded an explanation.

"Don't play cell phones in this weather. You could have been struck by lightning!" meyra.

"Gahaha!" Adnan broke the laughter. Tears even came out of the corner of his eye.

"What's so funny? This is a fact not superstition" Meyra said. Feeling offended.

"OKAY. Go out and play with your phone in the middle of the park. I'm sure you'll be the target of lightning!" Meyra pointed towards the park that was across the street.

"You want to kill me on purpose?" reply Adnan.

"See. You don't dare, do you? That means you believe, too." Meyra folded her hands in front of her chest.

Adnan saved back his phone with a pouting expression. He subconsciously followed Meyra's advice.

"How are you feeling?" chirps Meyra.

"You mean?" Adnan doesn't understand.

"How did you feel after meeting your ex-boyfriend?"

"Ah... That's... Such is. You can see how I'm dealing with him."

"Thank God that you were betrayed by only one person" Meyra said, recalling her own fate that her family and friends hated.

"Are you mocking me?" tymphal Adnan's.

Meyra was silent. He stared out the window. Seeing the rain that has not yet stopped.

"Can I ask you a question, by the way?" cetus Adnan's.

Meyra. "Say," he said.

"Where's your husband? Were you betrayed like me?" ask Adnan carefully.

Meyra smile. "I've never been married, Ad. I don't have a husband" she said.

Adnan's eyelids are dilated. He was shocked to hear Meyra's statement. What an unexpected answer from a woman he considered kind and polite.

"Then the boy?..." Adnan asked hesitantly.

"I'm sure you can guess. Obviously because I was pregnant, everyone betrayed me. I was not only betrayed by the man who possessed me, but also by my family" Meyra explained, leaning her head against the chair. Regret comes back to haunt him.
