Chapter 33 - Marriage

After Azam studied, Ustadz Wahyu spoke with Adnan. The man received guidance to convert to Islam.

Meyra was there too. Given that he and Adnan are getting married soon.

Just by saying the word shahadah, Adnan officially converted to Islam. Furthermore, Ustadz Revelation also does not forget to give a special tausiah. He even gave a book to Adnan. A book in which Adnan could study Islam more deeply.

After giving guidance to Adnan, Ustadz Wahyu came home. Adnan drove him forward.

"May I ask, Mr Adnan?" ustadz Wahyu said as he stepped together towards his car.

"Yes?" Adnan Response.

"What is the reason you want to convert to Islam because of Ma'am Meyra?" ask Ustadz Revelation.

"No! Of course not." Adnan immediately denied. He immediately explained that he had long wanted to convert to Islam. Adnan also did not forget to tell the late Ehsan. The person who is most instrumental in introducing Islam to him.

After a long talk, Ustadz Wahyu came home. Adnan stood looking at him while linking his two hands from behind his back. And then close your eyes. I don't know why Adnan felt his heart calm.

A few days later, the management of the marriage was finally completed. Adnan and Meyra got married. They just had a simple party. The wedding was attended by family and close relatives only.

The same thing was felt by Adnan. He felt something strange about his heart. Meyra also looks prettier than usual. Maybe the white kebaya dressing makes the woman's look more charming.

Adnan and Meyra get misbehaved when the photographer tells them to do a friendly pose. From starting to join hands to stick to each other's forehead.

"Ekhem! I don't think photos like this are necessary" Adnan lamented. To the photographer.

"But, Mister. Ought-"

"Yes!" Meyra rebuked Adnan. He thinks the guy is a bit overrated.

When the show was over, Adnan and Meyra went home. But when they are home, they rest in their rooms.

Azam, knowing this, was suspicious. He went to Adnan's room. Then woke up the man.

"Ughs... What's up, Zam?" asked Adnan who had to wake up from sleep.

"Why do you and Ms. Meyra sleep in separate rooms? Your attitude is not like husband and wife in general" Azam said.

Adnan's eyes were wide open. He changed his position to sit. He tried to answer Adnan's question calmly.

"Zam, we just got married. Meyra and I are still not used to it" Adnan said.

"I will observe you" said Azam with a serious look.

Adnan snorted in relief as Azam left. Azam's behavior really made him cramped. He was just a little boy.

The next day, everyone was at the dinner table. At that time Adnan and Meyra were still acting as usual.

"You why? How strange. When you are not married you seem to love each other. But after marriage, he behaves like a stranger" Azam added.

The eyes of Adnan and Meyra widened at the same time. At first they thought they could escape the suspicions of Azam. But they still received suspicion from the boy.

Adnan and Meyra exchanged glances. It seemed like they had to immediately talk about a way to overcome Azam's suspicions.
