CHAPTER 24 "Being a Husband-Wife"

Nathan opens his car door impatiently after stopping his luxury sports car in Viona's yard. Nathan went downstairs and rushed into the girl's house to confirm her condition. Nathan is afraid that Leo will hurt him more than he imagined.

"Vio,"

His voice distracted the three girls gathered in the living room. Sunny and Kirana got up from their seats to see Nathan coming. They couldn't possibly misunderstand, he was the same guy they saw that night "Kiran??"

"Sunny, did I dream of meeting this super handsome Mr.Ice."

"Earth calls us, Kirana."

Viona grunted amusedly, then the girl splashed water on Kirana and Sunny's face so that her two best friends could be immediately aware of her daydream. "For your eyes and lips, he is my future husband, so don't try to glance let alone disturb him" said Viona. Viona knows her two best friends. They are big-class playgirls so can't see the little clear ones.

"Did that bastard hurt you?" nathan asked to make sure, anxiety was clearly visible from the look of his face and the look in his eyes. Viona.

"Only my wrist is slightly blue," Viona raised her right hand and showed Nathan.

"Bajing** that, how dare he!!" nathan was full of anger. Seeing the look in Nathan's eyes gave Kirana and Sunny goosebumps, they felt like they were testing their guts.

"Oppa, I've ended my relationship with that man" said Viona, quietly expanding at the corner of her lips.

Nathan immediately raised his face and looked at Viona in disbelief. "I'm telling you the truth, Oppa. I can't stand his attitude. And from now on we don't have to hide in this relationship." Said smiling.

Nathan grabs Viona's nape and smears** her lips. Nathan can't hide his happiness knowing that Viona and Leo's relationship is over, and that means that the girl is now just his. Meanwhile, Sunny and Kirana could only fall silent at what they were doing until the end..... "KKKYYYAAAA!! THEY'RE PERVERTED." screamed Sunny and Kirana then sped away. They both don't want to be a mosquito repellent for Nathan and Viona.

Nathan released the link of his lips and looked at Viona who was also looking at him. Nathan smiled then carried the girl into his arms. She feels very happy because now Viona is only hers, and Nathan plans to marry her in the near future.

Today is Viona's day off from work and her time off is used to relax at home and clean up. Because after one week of work, only weekends he has time to rest and take care of his home.

The girl looked at her phone and let out a heavy sigh, it had been more than three days that Nathan had no news at all. Her phone was never activated when Viona tried to contact her. She knows that Nathan is a very busy man and Viona tries to understand him. Putting her phone back on the table, Viona continued her cleaning activities.

The knock on the door distracts Viona who is busy cleaning, the girl gets up and walks towards the door to see who her guest is coming to "Oppa." A warm hug immediately greeted her, Viona smiled and returned the embrace of that person who was definitely Nathan.

"I miss you, baby." Nathan said as he briefly kissed Viona's lips.

"I miss you so much too, and are you that busy that you don't have time to call me?" Viona raised her face and looked straight at Nathan's brown eyes. "You know? I'm almost crazy for missing you."

Nathan chuckles. "Sorry, honey," Nathan briefly kissed Viona's lips as an apology. "There's a lot of trouble going on lately. Let alone to call you, holding a cell phone I can't, I'm really sorry for that" Nathan said regretfully.

"This oppa?" Viona was surprised to see a bandage wrapped around Nathan's forehead with a blood patch just above his right eyebrow that indicated if the wound was still very new. "Why are you getting hurt like this?"

"I had a little accident on my way here, my car was blocked by some robbers who tried to take my property and we got into a fight. But you don't have to worry, honey. I'm really fine." Said convincing.

And it wasn't just Nathan's right forehead that was injured but his upper left arm and that was his shirt arm that was torn off. Fresh blood seemed to stain his shirt and vest.

"Oppa, your clothes are dirty. You better replace it with your shirt that's still in the house, I'll wash your dirty shirt and vest."

Nathan shook his head. "Not necessary, just a little bit of the stain. Have you had breakfast? I brought you some food." Nathan raised his left hand pointing at the parcel he was carrying.

"All right, we're having breakfast together." Said Viona who was then nodding back by Nathan.

After breakfast, Nathan takes Viona to meet her brother and introduces her as the future daughter-in-law of the Lu family. Nathan has no doubts despite the fact that he still has a bond with Cherly. The woman was so stubborn and resisted despite Nathan's many times breaking off their relationship.

Viona did not blink a bit as Nathan stopped his luxury car on the spacious courtyard of a luxurious mansion that stood firmly a few meters ahead. Viona immediately got out of Nathan's car and approached the man.

"Oppa, whose house is this? And what are we coming here for?" confused the girl asked. Viona rolled her eyes at Nathan who was mocking a faint smile..

"It belongs to my family and I will introduce you as the future daughter-in-law of the Lu family,"

"What!!"

Viona's arrival is warmly welcomed by Nathan's older brother. And Viona doesn't think Senna and Nathan are sisters. And that means the youngest brother Senna will introduce to her that day is Nathan. Viona covered her reddened face in embarrassment as Senna brought up about her offer that day.

"Sister, enough!! Don't tease him anymore." exclaimed Nathan as he landed his ass beside Henry.

"Yes, Uncle. By the way what happened to your forehead and left arm? Why did it get bandaged like that?" point Rio at Nathan's arm and forehead covered in bandages.

Apparently Nathan still hasn't told his family about the little incident he had this morning. So it is appropriate if they feel confused and anxious. Representing Nathan, it was Viona who finally recounted the small incident that Nathan experienced. Although they were anxious, they breathed a sigh of relief because Nathan was fine.

Seeing Viona's warm personality and gentle valley makes Henry think that only the girl deserves to be with Nathan who has an icy heart, during this time his life was almost dedicated to avenging his parents who were slaughtered when he was a child. There was no longer a warm side in Nathan.

Henry placed his cup of tea on the table and extended his gaze to Nathan and Viona. "If you really love each other and already feel suitable why not just get married?"

Senna raised her face after hearing Henry's words. "I agree with Henry, and I think your age is also equally mature to build a household" he said chimed. "What do you think?" Senna looked at Nathan seriously.

"I don't have a problem, if Viona agrees, why not?"

"Vio, listen to Brother. Brother, it's time you put an end to your solitude. All this time you've lived in loneliness and you've always worked hard to make ends meet. You need someone on your back and who can protect you, you need the warmth of a family. I know that your relationship with Nathan just started, and you don't know each other yet.

You don't know Nathan as a whole and vice versa. Although Nathan is a cold-blooded man yet he is actually a good man, it is not the intention of Big Brother wanting to praise him. Viona was silent for a while after hearing Senna's words. It is true what Senna said, he needs a companion who can always keep and protect him at all times. Although she and Nathan have not known each other for long and their relationship has only been going for a lifetime, Viona does not feel hesitant and confident that Nathan is the last choice God gives her.

Viona took a deep breath and ignored him. "I want to marry Nathan Oppa,"

The night is getting late but Viona is still awake. Unable to sleep, Viona decides to go immune to seeing the stars.

The cold made Viona shiver a little, she regretted not bringing her warm coat.she was too lazy to go back inside just to take her warm coat. The weather tonight is very friendly. The sky looks clean without clouds, stars scattered and glistening beautifully up there with the moon shining on the throne.

The girl jumped in shock as she felt a pair of hands hugging her from behind. Without even looking at it, Viona would know who hugged her. "Oppa, why wake up?"

"How can I sleep if my bride just suddenly disappears." Viona chuckles.

The girl lowered Nathan's hand from her stomach then turned around and their position was now against each other. "Is that so?" Nathan nodded. The man grabbed Viona's chin and smeared**briefly her lips.

"Don't ever disappear again out of the reach of my eyes even if it's just one second." she then kissed Viona's lips again and slightly smeared.

Viona did not expect Nathan to marry her a few hours after hearing her answer. Although they were legally married, their wedding was done very simply without any parties and invited guests. The only people who saw their marriage were family and the closest people. Nathan also presents Viona's two best friends.

It might sound strange considering that Nathan's family is a family. The wedding should be grand and lively with thousands of invited guests. But according to Nathan it was too long and took too much time to prepare. Nathan couldn't wait any longer to live with his beloved wife.

Viona did not feel sad or sorry even though her wedding was without a festive party, for her it was all not important. A beautiful wedding dress, a diamond ring that is super luxurious and expensive, For him all it is just a symbol. Viona doesn't need any of that, all she needs is Nathan's presence by her side. Because without a bridegroom, what does marriage mean.

Nathan lets go of her lips and pulls Viona into his arms, letting the girl lean on him. "Oppa." call Viona without changing her position.

"Hm."

"What about that girl named Cherly? He would be very hurt if he knew you married me!" Viona lifted her face from Nathan's embrace and looked straight at the brown eyes of the man who had been her husband for a few hours.

"You don't have to think about it, I'll take care of him. It's almost midnight, we better go in and get some sleep. I'm so tired, honey." Viona nodded without a fight.

Viona feels lucky to have a man like Nathan. Even Nathan did not insist on doing so even though they have now officially become husband and wife. Nathan said he would patiently wait until Viona really felt ready and that moved him.

As Nathan swore to keep their love, Viona would do the same. Take care of her and Nathan's love, and won't let anyone try to destroy the warmth of their love.
