CHAPTER 39 "Viona's Self"

"What if I refuse to accept you guys to be part of the Phoenix?"

Nathan stared at the four men in turn. The look in his eyes was so cold and his sharp intimidating gaze made one of the four men gulp down until he thought whether the man before him was a human or a Devil. She thought her nona was the single most terrifying person she had ever met in her life, but who would have thought that this man before her was 1000 times more terrifying than her nona.

"Please think carefully, sir. The four of us will get into big trouble from Miss if you reject her!!" alex represents his three colleagues.

"Tell your lady if I'm not interested. And after all the people I have now are more than enough and I don't intend to recruit people anymore. Viona, we're going!!"

"Alex!! No," cried Viona saw Alex take up arms in his hand and point at his own head. "I order you to quickly put the weapon down right now!!" yelled Viona once more.

At first Viona wants to keep her identity a secret from Nathan, but seeing what Nathan did to the four of them leaves Viona with no choice.

"Miss,"

"Nathan Lu, I will never forgive you if you do this to my man!!" sternly Viona with a face full of tears.

Although it was only one second, the shock was evident on Nathan's now flat face. "Your people? Whatchu mean?" nathan asked for an explanation.

Viona approached Nathan as she brushed her long hair until she saw a black rose tattoo on her left shoulder. Then Viona pulled Alex's arm and showed the same tattoo on her left wrist. "The girl he meant was me. I'm the one who asked them to work for you,"

"What do you mean?" nathan asked for an explanation.

Viona took a deep breath and ignored him. "I am the daughter of the founder of the Black Rose organization. Ever since my father died, Black Rose's power was taken over by Derry Ardinata. He pulled all the Black Rose members to stand by his side with the lure of an enormous sum of money. Then the name Black Rose was changed, as well as the rules. Derry became very powerful at the time. He became the most reluctant leader and quite feared, he ran an illegal business by trading people. They kidnap street children for treatment until they're old enough to have their organs removed and sold on the black market." Viona took a pause.

The woman closed her eyes which were starting to heat up. "Since I was a child, I have been treated poorly by Derry Ardinata. When there was no one he always tortured me and treated me badly. And after a dramatic long process, the baby was finally born. Not just one baby, but a pair of twins. Viona wiped the sweat off her forehead and heaved a sigh of relief. The woman got up from her position and approached Nathan. The mother and baby were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

"Good job, honey," said Nathan, one kiss landed on his forehead. Then Nathan takes Viona into his arms.

"Thank you, Oppa," the woman raised her hands and hugged her husband back. "I'm so tired, can we go back now?" Viona raised her face and looked at Nathan with a clear face.

Nathan nodded. "All right,"

Leo cannot control himself and control his anger. Just now he was humiliated in front of all his business associates by Rio, Satya and Frans. Leo had no face in front of them. How not? "But not by being dropped, stupid. Ahhh my butt and waist hurt," Leo's eyes widened at the sight of his beloved jade urn and his only remaining possession was in Rio's hands. "Yakk!! The boy put the jar back."

The jar fell and shattered into small pieces. Rio scratched his non-itchy nape. "It wasn't my fault, Uncle. You surprised me." he said without sin.

Leo clenched his hand and anger flared in his eyes. "LORD!!! WHAT WRONG? UNTIL YOU SEND THESE THREE DEMONS, HUAAAAA... TAKE MY LIFE AWAY FROM YOU GIVING ME A TEST THIS HEAVY." Leo cried so frustratedly.

Not feeling guilty. The three young men even feel happy because it has made Leo become more stressed and this is not the end. Leo's suffering will continue until he feels unable to do it again and realizes that he has been looking for trouble and dealing with the wrong people.
