Part 71 Brother Sister
Today Azmia began to go back to college, as usual Azmia lecture using her favorite motorbike.
Azmia arrived at the campus first from her two best friends. After parking her car Azmia chose to sit in the campus park rather than in the classroom.
"It's healed?" ask someone from behind.
Hearing the sound of the sound from behind Azmia turned to the source of the sound. "Sir Dery" Azmia said.
"Assalamualaikum," said Derry.
"Wa'alaikumussalam," Azmia replied. Derry sat on the bench behind Azmia.
"How are you doing?" ask Derry.
"Alhamdulillah, Mia is healthy, sister," Azmia replied.
"Now I am calm because you have a companion, someone who will take care of you always. I'm also happy to see you happy" said Derry.
"Sister don't have to worry that many people will take care of Mia. Sister should also be happy with Melia love him with her whole heart," Azmia replied.
"God, I will try. Mi, can I ask you something?" ask Derry.
"What's that?" Azmia asked back.
"If I can't have your heart, and I can't be your priest. Will you be my sister?" ask Derry.
"Yes" Azmia replied. He couldn't have rejected it if only Azmia's brother didn't mind.
"Thank you" said Derry.
"Together," Azmia replied.
They ended the conversation because Melia and Karina came. "Morning, Mi," said Karina.
"Morning too, Rin," Azmia replied.
"How are you doing, Mi?" ask Karina.
"Thank God, as you can see I'm fine" Azmia replied.
"Alhamdulillah then." Karina's employee hugged Azmia from the side, she sat down beside Azmia. While Melia approached Derry, sitting next to her future husband.
"Alright, but not now because the lecturer is coming in soon," Azmia replied. He didn't mind because everything was revealed so there was nothing more to cover up.
"We're in yuk class!" take Azmia to Karina.
"Ready." The two of them stood up from their seats before stepping into their class bidding first on two lovebirds who were busy dating.
"Mel, Brother Derry we first yes," said Azmia.
"Yes, Mi," Melia replied.
"Yes, Dik," continued Derry.
"Dik" said Melia and Karina together. They were surprised by Derry's call to Azmia, as Derry usually called Azmia by name.
"Yes, Azmia is now my sister, is something wrong?" ask Derry.
The two of them shook their heads, but his gaze turned to Azmia and Derry.
"Don't get me wrong" Azmia said.
"No, we're just wondering since when did Brother Derry become your sister, Mi?" asked Karina and Melia nodded her head in agreement with Karina's question.
"New, before you came." Azmia did not answer but Derry.
"You, don't get me wrong, or jealous. Azmia and I had nothing to do, I asked her to be my sister" explained Derry holding Melia's hand trying to convince Melia not to misunderstand and be angry with Azmia.
"I'm not jealous, Azmia already has Mas Alby. Isn't that right, Mi?" Melia looked at Azmia.
Azmia nodded with a small smile.
"Yuk, ah we're in, Mi!" take Karina "We're first, bye." Karina wrapped her hands around Azmia's arm and took Azmia away from the park to class.
"Mel, you know what I used to be. You also know how I feel about Azmia. If I can be honest until now I can't get rid of that feeling, but after I found out Azmia was married I decided to throw that love into Brother's love for her sister, she said, therefore I ask Azmia so that we can establish the brotherly rope Brothers. I'm sorry, Mel, for not being able to fully accept the reality that's happening, but just know that I'm going to try to accept and open my heart to you." Derry told me everything. Derry no longer wants to keep everything to himself better his fiancee know the truth than there will continue to be misunderstandings.
"Mel, you know it's so hard to forget our loved ones, let alone meet them often. I ask you to be patient because reopening a heart that was once injured takes time" said Derry.
Melia remained silent. He digested every word Derry, there was pain in his heart, but he also could not force, let alone their relationship was not purely because of the heart, but because of the matchmaking and coercion of the parents.
It's true what Derry said, opening your heart to others takes time, not as fast as lightning. True love must come from a sincere heart.
