MY CHATTY WIFE

MY CHATTY WIFE
HIGH BLOOD

Today's schedule checks my wife's womb.

We waited for a long queue.

'Many are pregnant, yes. If born together is not the doctor the same midwife.' laughs me in the heart. I have this mind running.

"What do you want to drink or eat first, baby? Our queue is still a long time." I can't bear to see him leaning on the seat support while continuing to wipe his round stomach.

"Cold, fresh can be, Mas" he said ambiguously.

'This case is this, which could make the world war again.'

"The orange juice will, baby." I asked in a down-pressing voice. I had to turn down the volume of my voice in front of him.

"Yes, can. All the bread, my. Usual cheese flavor." with a sighing voice. Perhaps his stomach was already uncomfortable sitting for a long time in this hard chair.

"Yes, honey. Buy it first. If there's anything else, send a message yes." I rubbed his stomach that felt hard. The twins were acting inside, making it difficult for her mother. He's nodding.

My wife was asleep in the waiting chair, exhausted as it were. I leaned his head against his shoulders while rubbing his stomach which was like it was split in two.

"What my son is doing in there, I can't wait for them. Next month we meet ya, my dear."

The check line is just a few more numbers. Time is still enough for them to rest.

I love taking pictures of my wife's changing belly shape. The moment will never repeat itself a second time, although later there may be subsequent pregnancies.

Making memories to remember is a duty.

"Darling, wakeup. Time for us to go in for a check." I patted her cheek gently.

"Please Mother, Father.. How is he now?." said Doctor Ayu.

"Good, Doc. Alhamdulillah." I said.

The doctor nodded with a smile, "Any complaints are felt at this time, Mom?." staring at my newly woken wife was still a bit gawking.

"Ah, regular Doctor. Tired, waist hurts, head likes to dizzy, Doc. Difficult to sleep at night, often pacing to the toilet." complained my wife.

"It's good that way, ma'am. It is common in pregnant women in the third trimester. Have you done lab tests?." The doctor wrote the records in the medical records.

"Already, Doc. Here's the result." I handed you the lab check yesterday the day after.

The doctor read carefully, suddenly the look on his face turned tense.

"So you've taken a blood pressure measurement up front, Mom?." The doctor's face that usually turns serious, my heart became alarmed.

"No, Doc. I fell asleep in front." my wife replied with a whimper.

"Oh yeah, it's okay." The doctor asked his assistant to take my wife's blood pressure measurements.

"What's up, Doc?." My curiosity got stronger. By looking at his assistant several times repeated the measurements.

"Mom's blood pressure is high, 185/90," the doctor said. "This is the result of a laboratory check and a third urine test yes, sir, Mom!." The doctor read my wife's medical records from the initial sheet. We nodded.

"Does like pounding or feel tight, Mom?." The doctor is doing my wife's anamnesa.

"Yes, Doc. Sometimes it likes pounding until since the breath, but later lost. Keep the head also like dizziness muter, Doc." replied my wife.

"There's swelling in the legs, ma'am?."

The doctor wrote something in his note.

"What's up, Doc?. It's okay, right?." I can't wait for my worries.

"We'll see his brother first, yes sir. Later I explain the details." said the doctor with a relaxed look back, let my wife lie down and do USG preparation.

We nodded. My wife was lying with an impatient face wanting to see our son.

"Don't forget Vidio yes, Mas." he said to me impatiently. I'm nodding.

The doctor put on his gloves and started to turn the tranducer on my wife's stomach.

I saw my two little babies squirming in there.

"Well, they seem to have just woken up, sir, Mom. Growth is good, all complete. It's the hydunga, it looks like one is short. This is just a prediction, sir, Mom. Maybe they are twins but not identical." Dr. Ayu explained to us. You nodded with continued focus on the Doctor's explanation.

'There are many twins but not the same face. I don't care, the important thing is they're healthy and safe.'

"This is the placenta or it's commonly said Ari Ari. The position is good, safe insha Allah." continued the Doctor.

"Alhamdulillah," we are grateful to hear it, but my heart has not calmed because of the change in the expression of the Doctor when reading the results of my wife's laboratory tests.

"We're done looking at the baby's sister, when I explain the details of the examination results earlier yes, mother, father."

I helped my wife tidy up her clothes and walked back to the chair in front of the Doctor.

"Mr, Mama.. Something is unexpected. Mother's blood pressure is high at the time of pregnancy that has entered in Week 37.It should be clarified, before pregnancy, is your blood pressure already high?"

"No, Doc. Usually 120/90 at most. My blood is high, Doc?" my wife was a little panicked, maybe earlier when the doctor explained that her blood pressure was 185/90 she was not fully conscious from her sleep.

"Yes, Mom. 185/90. Well above the warning limit, ma'am."

"You can do it, Doc. Though the beginning of my blood was normal, Loch." My wife panicked.

"There are many factors that are thought to play a role in triggering hypertension during pregnancy, namely the age when pregnant who is too young or too old, first-time pregnancy, the distance between pregnancies that are too close or too far away, a history of pregnancy with previous hypertension, a family history of pregnancy with hypertension, pregnant twins, or experiencing certain pains, such as obesity, diabetes, kidney disorders, and so on. One of those triggers could be the cause, ma'am."

"Danger huh, Doc?" I asked.

"Yes of course, sir, Mom. Must be done a thorough and repeated examination to be accurate results. So it can conclude the final decision." said Dr. Ayu.

"Mom can rest here first for two hours, then re-do his blood pressure, same urine dip. So that later there is a result, do not think too much about it sir, Mom. Rest first in the canteen or in the musolah. If you are tired, you can go to the ER room to rest for a while." suggested Dr. Ayu.

We nodded, "Okay, Doc."

"If the place is near, you can go home first is fine. Come here again. Mother do not tense yes, must be calm, relax think of a small face that will soon be present bring happiness." Doctor's smile alleviates a little of our worries.

"Yes, Doc. Coincidentally close to only 20 minutes to the house. Then let's go home first, Doc. I'll be back here again." I'm conveying my intentions.

Doctor Ayu nodded, "Yes, please Sir, Mom. Heart on the road."

"Thank you, Doc."

Bad thoughts flashed through my mind, when I remembered my co-worker's wife several years ago had hypertension during her pregnancy. I shook my head hoping that thought disappeared.

"Darling, don't think about it. Everything's gonna be fine, you gotta be sure of that, yeah." I got my wife who looked lethargic.

He nodded weakly, "Hopefully, Mas."
