My Devil Emperor

My Devil Emperor
Accident

"It's so boring" Yuan murmured as he stared at the ceiling of his room.

"Does the Princess want to take a walk around the palace?" asked the very sensitive Jingli.

Listening to Jingli's voice, Yuan immediately occupied himself and looked at the woman before him with sparkling eyes. "Can I?"

Jingli smiled amusedly and nodded. "of course. Who would dare ban our Princess?"

"Then, come on!" He immediately stood up and pulled Jingli's hand to follow in his footsteps.

Yuan breathed that fresh air. No pollution from vehicle fumes or industrial buildings. Very healthy environment.

Unknowingly, those red lips curved downward. Her eyes were closed receiving the exposure of the morning sun to her beautiful face.

The lashes move upwards. Eyes as beautiful as those peach blossoms suddenly opened. He looked to the right and squinted his eyes.

"Mr Princess," call Jingli.

Yuan turned to Jingli and placed his index finger on his ripe lips.

Jingli nodded obediently and only followed Yuan's slow steps.

"The first daughter was very wise and loving. He even gave a gift from his father that was very valuable to the third Princess when his sister was very evil to him." The voice started to sound clearly in Yuan's ears.

Yuan raised his eyebrows. He knew what the servants were talking about. He thinks it's a little interesting.

"That's right! The first princess was great yesterday. I admire him more. He should be the King and Queen's favorite."

"The first daughter deserved it. She was truly the daughter of a King and Queen, unlike the third Princess whose conduct was extremely bad. No wonder she's the son of a concubine."

"True, he doesn't know himself very well. It's good he's the son of the King, still wanting to rival the real Princess!"

"It's fascinating. Can I have a chat?" The sudden arrival of Princess Yanli made them all startled.

"We greet the First Princess" they said in unison.

"What are you guys talking about? Why stopped? Let's continue. I want to hear it," Yuan said with a smile.

They all fell silent, not daring to answer. Although the sentence Yuan spoke sounded ordinary, it was like a knife hiding behind a haystack. Wrong tread, park history.

"Why are you guys quiet? Did I scare you that?" Yuan looked at them with his head tilted. It looks plain but makes people more alert.

"No, Mr. My daughter. We are not brave. We're guilty. Please Lord Princess forgive us," said one of them representing.

Why the new Yuan realized it. It's a little fun. At least this Zhou YanLi was really a princess who had a good standing and name. He's respected. Not bad being him.

Yuan smiled faintly and said, "I know. No need to be afraid of that. Man is a good judge of others but cannot judge himself." His voice is still very soft. There was no anger in it but the sentence was like an invisible knife. They all felt insinuated by Yuan's statement.

From a distance, Yuan's eyes caught a quite familiar silhouette.

"Jee'er!" call Yuan while waving his hand.

Feng Ji looked towards Yuan, with a flat face he approached his first brother.

"So can you help, First Brother?" tanyakanya.

"No, just wanted to ask. Who do you think is better among us?"

That question made FengJi frown.

"What do you mean?" ask her with an annoyed face

Yuan advanced his lips looking at FengJi with sad eyes. Of course it's fake.

"Sister, why are you so fierce? I'm just asking. You need to control yourself more in the future."

FengJi stared at the strange woman who was two years older than him. "Jingli, why did you take him out? I think he's still sick," he told Jingli who was behind Yuan.

"Ji'erku is the most attentive. Don't worry, your brother is already very healthy."

"It seems like you really need a break," Feng Ji said as he slowly shook his head

"Look, my sister is very considerate. He's not as bad as you think. Don't talk about it again next time, okay?"

Although slightly absentminded, the servants nodded obediently at what Yuan said.

"It's nice. Everyone must have made a mistake. It's fine to give others criticism, but you also have to convey it directly, don't talk behind it. That's not good."

"Mr Princess is right. We are guilty, please the Princess give us a punishment."

"You want to punish him?" asked Yuan to FengJi.

"Because first Brother caught her, why didn't Big Brother just punish her?" said FengJi indifferently.

"Actually I am very unpleasant to you, but the guilty must be punished. This is cause and effect. So, hang around here until the sun goes down. No one should give him food or drink."

They were shocked to hear what Yuan said. Not because of his punishment, but who punishes him. It would not be strange if FengJi or the other female nobles were punishing. But this was the one they recognized, Zhou YanLi.

During this time, Zhou YanLi was known to be the most affectionate. If someone makes a mistake, he never punishes him. There was even one case when a servant accidentally broke the Grand Consort's beloved vase and received the sentence of kneeling for three days, it was the First Princess who released her. Of course it was not an easy matter due to the extremely cruel nature of the Grand Concubine, but Zhou YanLi was the daughter of the King and Queen.

Another factor, talking about the ugliness of the third Princess was not the first time it was done. But usually the first Princess would only give them a reprimand, not a punishment. Could it be because the memory of the first princess that was lost made her someone who was now standing in front of them this?

"What's wrong? Why are you all looking at me like that? Is my punishment too light? Or too heavy?" That soft voice made them all sober.

"We obeyed the orders of Her Highness the first Princess," the servants said without refusing.

Yuan smiled with satisfaction. "Then it's done. The spirit!" He left without caring about the confused looks of the people there.

FengJi now turned to look at those kneeling servants. He cleared his throat slowly and said, "There's no need to do it. You might be joking."

The servants looked at FengJi with faces of regret. "Your Highness Third daughter, we are indeed guilty. Forgive us for our discourtesy towards the Princess."

"Aah?" What magic did her brother use to make these servants respect her greatly.

"Mr Princess, you are so different. But you're cool!" praise Jingli as they've returned to the room.

Yuan laughed softly and said, "I also feel, I'm really cool. But why do I feel something is wrong? Their faces looked like they had lost the bet."

"Everyone who knows you would be like that. You really are like a different person. You never punished a waiter. Very good but also very smart."

Yuan nodded in understanding. It seemed like this Princess YanLi was indeed a graceful and gentle person but was also not a fool.

"Sister, is there any food? I'm feeling hungry."

Hearing what Yuan said, Jingli immediately ran out of the room towards the palace kitchen. He almost forgot lunch.

After Jingli disappeared. Yuan looked around his room. "It's a good move if I can play outside the palace. It's gonna be just as good out there."

"So my daughter wants to play outside the palace?"

The sound made Yuan startled and turned towards the door, there was already Queen Yin carrying a small glass jar filled with fruit sweets.

"Yanli gave his greetings to Mother" Yuan said as he stood up.

Queen Yin gently rubbed her daughter's hair.

Yuan smiled and greeted him with pleasure. "Thank you, Mother."

Yuan opened the jar carefully. Queen Yin took one fruit candied and pointed it at Yuan's lips.

"How's it?" ask Queen Yin.

"Very sweet as my Mother," Yuan replied after finishing swallowing one of the sweets that Queen Yin gave.

"Good girl, you are indeed good at praising someone with your sweet words!"

Yuan smiled and hugged Queen Yin. Though not even a month he was in this foreign world, but the affection that Queen Yin gave him actually managed to touch him. Yuan felt the affection of his mother from Queen Yin. Okay, she'll rectify it, being a Royal Princess isn't as bad as previously thought.

"Mother, can I get out of the palace?" tanya Yuan spoiled.

"Did the palace really bore my Xiao Li?"

Yuan nodded in response to Queen Yin's question.

"But mother is worried about you," Queen Yin said softly.

"Mother, Xiao Li can take care of herself. After all there is Jingli accompanying me," Yuan wooed while tugging at Queen Yin's sleeves.

"I can't refuse my beloved daughter's request. When are you going to get out?" ask Queen Yin to weaken.

Yuan was very happy to have Queen Yin's permission. "If Mother allows it, Xiao Li will leave now."

"Okay, but promise me not to go home hurt again. You have to be able to protect yourself. And go home before the eyes set, okay?"

"Good, Mother. Thank you, Xiao Li loves you." After giving a warm hug, Yuan asked permission to look for Jingli in the palace kitchen. He would absolutely not waste the opportunity that Empress Yin gave him.

***

Seeing the activities outside the palace was indeed very pleasant. It was like being in a traditional market.

Yuan disguised as a commoner mingled with everyone.

Finally the twenty-year-old girl felt her freedom again.

Jingli approached Yuan who was looking at the bracelet in a booth with a snack.

"Sister, pay me this. Kamh choose what you want. I treat you," Yuan said with a bracelet that was already in his grasp.

Jingli nodded and swiftly took out a few silver coins and gave them to the seller.

"Miss, where do you want to go again?" jingli asked as she ate her spicy snack.

Yuan did not immediately reply, but his eyes searched for an interesting place to visit. Then he saw a cloth shop, his index finger pointed at the store and said, "We're going there!"

The two of them entered the cloth shop while looking around.

"The material is quite good," Yuan said as he touched one of the maroon-colored cloths with a golden pattern.

"This shop is one of the best fabric stores, Miss," Jingli replied without looking at Yuan. The girl was busy seeing if her snacks were still plenty. He thought of buying a few more packs and taking them home.

Yuan nodded in understanding, his eyes suddenly catching a red shirt with a beautiful phoenix embroidery.

"Miss," call Jingli.

Not getting an answer, Jingli raised his face.

His heart beat as he did not find Yuan by his side. "Miss you—" He suddenly stopped talking as his eyes found the person he was looking for.

Jingli walked quickly towards Yuan. "Miss, you must not carelessly leave," he said as he was already beside Yuan.

"It's so pretty" muttered Yuan who was still heard by Jingli. She followed Yuan's line of sight and saw a red wedding dress with exquisite gold thread.

"Your wedding dress is better than this."

Of course a princess' wedding dress should be good. Wait, something seems wrong.

Yuan reflex turned fast. "My wedding? I'm married already? What do you mean Sister?"

"Ah? The servant hasn't told me yet? Miss, you are already engaged to Prince Liu. But because of your accident, the marriage was postponed" Jingli told the court. He whispered softly as he mentioned 'Prince Liu'.

Yuan sighed in relief. Hey how he's not surprised. In the original world, she just broke up with her boyfriend. He's only two heads old, and he's still a student. How can we get married here? Her experience is far from love.

"Can I try it?" ask Yuan. Wearing a wedding dress does not mean getting married, right? He was completely fascinated by the shirt. Looks like it'll fit right in her body.

"Hamba will ask." After saying so, Jingli walked up to the shopkeeper and chatted for a while.

Then he came back to Yuan and said, "You may try, Miss. It just so happened that the shirt was going to be sold because the person who ordered it suddenly canceled their wedding. Too bad, yeah!"

"If you like it, we can buy it" Jingli continued.

"No. No. gabe. I'll just try it, who wants to get married anyway? I'm too young, I'll ask mom and dad to cancel after this." Without waiting for Jingli's response, Yuan left the woman with the bridal gown with him.

While waiting for Yuan to try on his clothes, Jingli again enjoyed the seemingly inexhaustible snack.

"Jingli," called Yuan which made Jingli lift his face.

With half-opened lips, Jingli walked over to Yuan. "Mr Princess, you look so beautiful. It looks like this shirt was created for you to wear" he said.

"You flatter me."

After returning to normalize his expression, Jingli looked around the shop and said, "It seems like not only the servant is fascinated here," he said as he watched the people gazing in admiration towards Yuan.

"If Prince Liu sees you looking like this, he will definitely marry you right away."

Yuan snorted annoyedly at hearing that. "Can you stop saying his name? I don't even know who he is. Any man other than my father can't be trusted!"

"But Prince Liu—" Jingli suddenly stopped talking.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Mr Princess, it looks like I ate too much spicy, my stomach hurts. The servant will return again. Wait a minute," Jingli said as he ran out of the store in a hurry.

"Hmm," Yuan muttered as he shook his head.

Suddenly there was a commotion outside the shop. Curious, Yuan went outside to see who took him to the back of the shop.

"What's going on?" yuan asked one of the men who ran into the crowd.

"There's thieves. Young miss, I have to go help now," he replied in a hurry.

Yuan simply shrugged and wanted to go back in to change his clothes. But suddenly someone hit his body so hard that it made him fall.

"You!" yuan said annoyed while looking at that person.

The woman who turned out to be bumping into it suddenly threw her red veil at Yuan while saying an apology and went running.

"Catch her!"
