Papa Danzel never got an answer from Alceena. His son was actually staring at Cathleen with a spotlight that seemed to wail.
“Ehem!” Papa Danzel cleared her throat, allowing Alceena to refocus on the important conversation. “If none of you want to give up, I will cross the name of Dariush from the list of prospective daughters-in-law. None of you will get my blessing. Papa doesn't want to see my beautiful children jealous of each other, and have a bad relationship with brother. You better forget the descendants of the Dominique family, and look for another man. Origin is not the same person anymore.”
“No need to be crossed off the list of prospective daughters-in-law. I did promise Cathleen not to like Dariush for the happiness of my twin sister.” Alceena stroked her stomach while sighing. “Toh I'm pregnant too, where maybe Dariush wants to be with a woman who is already pregnant with someone else's child.
