When viewed from facial expressions, Cathleen could judge if Selena was having a serious chat with a man she knew very well. Curious, Mr. Pattinson's third son crouched down, hiding behind a chair that his half-brother could not see.
Cathleen had her ears as sharp as possible. Eavesdropping talks. Although he knew it was not good, but it was still done because Selena seemed to be hiding something.
“Ha?” Cathleen softly said, her lips gaping wide, but were soon covered with her hands. He was very surprised by what he had just heard. “My gear is not wrong, ‘kan? Selena is really pregnant?” his murmur was very soft.
Cathleen was left speechless, too shocked to know Selena was pregnant. “Sign once she covers from family.”
Cathleen's ears refocused on Selena's voice and her half-brother's interlocutor. The round eyes widen instantly when it catches clear if the name Alceena has just been called.
Cathleen also took the initiative to record the sound. He pulled out his phone and tried to switch positions to get closer to Selena's desk, so that the sound could be recorded clearly. Cathleen did not stand up, but rather walked in a crouching position.
“What?” cry Cathleen in a soft voice. Really this time he did not think out, and certainly did not accept what Selena had done if captured from the new information heard.
Cathleen's hands clenched tightly, she felt emotions. “Tot know yourself! Is the Eisten family like that? Picic!”
Having been unable to stand Selena's conversation, Cathleen stood up. Come out of hiding. The eyes immediately stared at his half-brother.
Selena who saw Cathleen suddenly appear at the table near her sitting was immediately shocked. “Cath?” call him smooth.
But the annoyed Cathleen did not heed the call. He swung his legs to get close to Selena. Straight away the smooth palm landed on the cheek of the stepbrother.
Plaque!
“Cath, why did you slap him?!” reprimand Aldrich, the person who had been invited to chat by Selena. She immediately distanced Cathleen's hand from her brother.
Cathleen pulled her hand violently. “Why?” He repeated the question sentence with great emphasis. “I've heard all your talk.” Heads are shaking slowly. “It's really unexpected that you could have played fire with Brandon Brooks while he was Alceena's lover.”
Selena tried to grab Cathleen's hand. Looks like something needs to be straightened out. But, his brother had already brushed aside, unwilling to be held by him. He could only sigh while standing up.
“I'm not playing with Brandon Brooks, Cath. You misinterpreted the conversation you had just heard. The original story was not like that.” Selena wanted to explain the initial chronology.
But, Cathleen was already shaking her hands in front of her face. “Halah! Just give it up. It's obvious my ears hear that you're now pregnant with Brandon Brooks' son!”
Cathleen then clapped her hands like a mocking person. “Great, you're good at hiding that shocking fact from our whole family. And my parents and Alceena would definitely be disappointed with you if you found out this.”
“Cath, listen first to my explanation,” pinta Selena with her very pleading face.
Cathleen smiled a cynical smile. “What? What do you want to give a reason? It's obvious my ears hear that you're also behind the barren Alceena rumor, ‘right?”
