My husband General

My husband General
Extra CHAPTER 5

After the event ended, now a couple of different professions returned to the official house. Chandra daydreamed a lot when he arrived home, the man several times opened dozens of files from his desk drawer to check, it makes Nadia confused and wondering.

Dusk on Flores at that time looks very beautiful even though accompanied by a small drizzle. Nadia approached Chandra with a glass of warm chamomile tea that she prepared.

"Check what?"

"Oh, dear .. This, the task file," replied Chandra, somewhat stunned that the man was too focused on what was before him.

"Duty file? Is there any more training work? Or visits?"

Chandra shook his head, the man shifted his seat and pulled Nadia gently to sit by his side. Chandra also clasped Nadia's slender waist so they could be closer together.

"Not ... but task switching file."

Nadia's forehead wrinkled. "Why?"

Chandra sighed. "I thought about what Alif said, about having a baby in a TNI basecamp."

Nadia smiling. "Why?"

"The medical facilities, atmosphere and also the place here .. I think it is not right for you to give birth to our baby" said Chandra seriously.

Nadia pouted, and Chandra realized that.

"This is not Bandung. I don't want to take any chances. Distance is a problem here. Maybe you can give birth at the health center or go to the hospital when you are nine months old. But I don't want to do that" Chandra explained gently and with great emphasis, she didn't want anything bad to happen to Nadia especially when her beloved woman gave birth to the fruit of their love.

"Keep ... What do you want?"

"I plan to move duties if possible, but it is subject to an official contract and my tenure as the highest Commander in this place" Chandra replied.

"I can give birth in this house, in a hospital or even in a health center" Nadia said stubbornly.

"Yes, I believe and believe that you can do that. And yet, our little baby? You must also be troubled to take care of the baby alone. If you live in Bandung, there is a mother and grandmother, there is Joy, papa you .. and your friends will take care of you."

"So you're upset with me?!" tanya Nadia hoarse.

Chandra bit her lip. "It's not so, dear."

"Ck, stop!"

"Nadia listen to me first ...."

Nadia brushed off Chandra's hand from her shoulder violently, hearing her husband's gentle explanation, but the stabbing made Nadia no longer want to hear that outrageous attention-clad sweet babble again.

"Just say if you don't want to take care of the baby, and you want to throw me to Bandung!"

"Honey ..," replied Chandra weakly and of course full of patience. Talking to Nadia was like stepping on a thin layer of ice that could at any time make her mired just in case she did not choose the right sentence.

A sensitive Nadia plus a state of cravings that make her easily angry and crying was away from her husband. He entered the room and locked the door from the inside. Let Chandra stay behind the door with one eye peeking through the keyhole to make sure Nadia is okay.

Nadia rubbed her face soaked with tears, she cried with the cause made by her own husband. The woman curled up, hugging her own body while whispering a little at the figure of the fetus that was in her womb.

"Baby .. hiks .. tomorrow we go to Bandung."

"Hiks .. Papa you are evil!"

"Darling ... I'm in, huh?"

"No need!" nadia snapped towards the door to make Chandra retreat.

"I've made milk."

"No way!"

"I want to talk to the baby."

"Can't!"

I want to see you."

Nadia did not answer him and still felt at home with herself in the room.

"Nadia .. I want to pinch your cheek."

Nadia smiled at her husband's words.

Two minutes waiting for no answer, Chandra smiled in front of the closed door. Seducing Nadia is not an easy matter, but she feels silly with herself at the moment. When Nadia is harder to defuse than landmines on the border. "Nadia, I'm coming in, honey?"

Click ....

Chandra opened the door with the spare key he had, the man sitting on the edge of the bed right next to the foot of his wife who was not wearing a blanket. Chandra raises Nadia's leg up on her lap and massages her slowly. Nadia was still indifferent, at home with her gaze towards the window that began to show the highlight of the crescent moon.

"Nad, I don't want to part with you either. I want you to be next to me and vice versa."

Nadia rubbed her tears, occasionally stealing glances towards Chandra who was staring at her intensely. Chandra smile.

"It's okay you're angry. I deserve to be scolded."

Nadia changed her position, sitting down and bending her legs while facing Chandra. Chandra is now more comfortable because Nadia wants to face him again after rejecting him outright.

"You're the most important person in my life, Nad."

"Keep ... Why do you want me to go?"

"Yes, because of that. I want everything to be mature for you."

Nadia was again pouting. "By separating? You think I can handle everything alone without you?"

"In Bandung there is a father and a mother. I'm much more confident seeing you with family. Your grandmother and papa .. They're very experienced."

"What does it mean that you don't exist" Nadia replied quietly, but managed to make Chandra look down regretfully.

"You once said that a second after you married me. I can't depend on anyone but you, I can't ask anyone else for anything but you. You also said, your main task is no longer about the country, but about how to make me happy."

"I'm happy. I am ready wherever I give birth to my baby. Why do you think too far apart for a while for the sake of that 'goodness' you mean?"

"Nad ...." Chandra pinched both cheeks of Nadia gently, the man smiled warmly so Nadia grabbed both of her big hands to hold.

"Chan .. I don't want the baby to suffer the same fate as me."

"You mean?" ask Chandra lirih.

Nadia forced her smile, clear lips falling from her two teary-looking eyes. Chandra stamped and rubbed the liquid with both of her thumbs.

"Shhhh ...."

"I have never seen my mother's face, not even when she was born. .. she died on the operating table, I want the baby to see your face for the first time. As his father, and as the person who loved him the most in this world."

Chandra grabs Nadia's body into his arms, the man cried bitterly and Nadia enjoyed the too warm embrace with a poignant cry that he just released this time related to the late mother who had 29 years left to leave her for heaven.

During her life, Nadia never complained that she missed the figure of her mother to anyone other than her husband Chandra. In papa and grandma, Nadia does not do that, because telling or asking about mama might bring up the old pain that papa and grandma try to treat and forget.

"Why are you saying this now?"

Nadia shook her head small. "I'm afraid, you're not on my side to strengthen me and the baby."

"Please, don't ask me to leave. I want to be here with you, no matter what the circumstances."
