Chapter 34 Letting Go Ho

Ho approached Heng while rubbing Heng's face in front of him and he hugged Heng's body tightly.

''Zheng ! What the hell is going on ? You're fine, aren't you?', asked Ho.

Ho tightened his embrace while holding his breath.

''Don't scare me Heng ! Talk to me, Heng!'', said Ho.

Ho clenched Heng more and more but he sensed that there was something else on Heng.

''Zheng ! Why is your body so cold?'', asked Ho.

Ho fingered Heng's body in panic then looked at her sharply.

''You're not sick, are you ? Your wounds have healed, right, Heng!?', said Ho.

Heng could not help but hold back his sad heart.

He was shaken as Ho asked his current state. And Heng was unable to tell the truth.

Heng is afraid that if Ho finds out that he has become a ghost, his brother will follow him.

''Ho, get out of here!'', said Heng coldly.

Ho gasped in surprise as he looked towards the confused Heng.

''What ? Why ?'', asked Ho. ''Why are you asking me like that, Heng ???''

Ho shook around Heng's pale body.

''What do you want???'', cried Ho.

''Let me take care of the business here ! And quickly go!'', said Heng.

''What did you say ? Go?'', said Ho.

''Yes, he is not the human you think he is, Ho'', continued Heng.

''Who ? Who do you mean?', asked Ho.

Heng closed his eyes as Ho looked at him furiously.

''Dalca II ??? He???'', said Ho again.

Heng remained silent.

''That's none of my business ! Stupid time with him ! All I think about is you ! You ! Ho!'', said Ho.

Ho shook back Heng's body violently.

''What's wrong with you ? Why did you tell me to leave ? Then what about you?'', asked Ho in a panic.

''I'm... I will stay here until the business in the forest of Hoia Baciu is finished.

''You ? Then what am I ? What do you think of me, Heng???'', said Ho.

Ho turned his two maatas while pointing at himself.

''Who am I to you Heng?', said Ho again.

''Ho... Listen to me.'', said Heng.

''No ''', said Ho.

Ho raised his hand towards Heng.

''No ! It won't ! I had enough to listen to you Heng!'', said Ho.

Ho raised his head then complained furiously.

''I've listened to you before but in reality you're not doing well!'', said Ho.

Ho looked at Heng sharply.

''The last moment I left you at the bottom of that abyss ! I don't think you're gonna be okay ! My mind is empty but I try to continue that task, said Ho.

Ho looked at Heng softly.

''You know Heng that I was determined to give my life to Dalca II in case I had to die but.

Both of Ho's eyes glazed with sadness as he took a deep breath.

''But ''But... I thought of you and had to come back to save you so I tried to meet Dalca II.

Ho swallowed his saliva then continued his words again.

''I !? I was thinking maybe that creepy guy would help me save you''.

Heng was sealed with a body shaking violently.

''And you suddenly came.., and everything was resolved easily.

''I know that, and I'm sorry if I can't keep my promise to you, Ho'' Heng said.

''What do you mean?', said Ho.

''Please listen to me just this once, Ho ! Please get out of this forest immediately!'', said Heng.

''Go ??? Try to repeat that word of yours ??? Go???'', replied Ho.

''Yes, go ! Get out of here ! And get away from me!'', said Heng.

Heng pushed Ho's body violently while looking at him full of hatred.

''Go Ho ! Go !!'', shouted Heng.

Heng was desperate because he was unable to tell Ho what was happening.

He was only able to force Ho to get away from him by telling him to leave.

That was all Heng could do for Ho to hate him and leave him without having to know what happened to him exactly.

''Go said !!!'', cried Heng.

Heng pointed his palm towards Ho who stood sculpting.

Ho never thought he would get a reply Heng that hard.

''Go Ho!!!'', shouted Heng loudly.

Simultaneously also appeared a bright yellow beam from Heng's palm that shot towards Ho.

''Ho !!! Go !!! Goodbye Ho!!!'', cried Heng.

Heng's tears flowed profusely as he looked towards Ho who was standing in confusion.

At that moment also the yellow light hit Ho's body hard causing Ho to be pushed back quickly.

''Heng !!!'', cried Ho.

Ho was unable to resist the urge of the yellow light hitting his body.

Ho's body bounced away from the forest area of Hoia Baciu.

As he looked towards Heng.

Ho realized something about Heng, he witnessed with his own two eyes the changes that had happened to Heng.

Heng's body turned slowly into a shadow that continued to fade from his sight.

''Heng !!!'', cried Ho.

Ho shouted loudly calling out to Heng who had disappeared.

Only Ho realized with the yellow-robed woman's words that Heng was dead.

''Feng !!! Heng my brother !!! Don't go Heng!!!", call Ho.

But all can't go back.

Heng will remain forever a ghost and live within the forest of Hoia Baciu.

No more Heng figures will accompany Ho in his daily life.

Ho regretted that he had just realized that Heng had gone without having the time to say goodbye properly.

''I should have taken you with me, Heng.'', said Ho.

Ho cried so hard that he no longer saw that the yellow light carrying his body moved far away until he returned to Kwee Lan's house.

Ho's body continued to be pushed quickly into the area of Kwee Lan's house.

Go to his private room in the house.

Ho slammed into his bed. And the light that brought it disappeared from around Ho.

''Heng.'', murmured Ho.

''Heng !?', said Ho.

Ho sobbed with his body hunched over the floor.

Ho's cry broke out again, lamenting Heng's departure from his side that would never again return in his life.

''Zheng... Why did you leave ??? Where is your promise that will always be fine when I leave you????'', said Ho.

Ho's hands clenched tightly until it turned blue while his body trembled violently.

Ho was crying but he could not shed his tears anymore.

Both of his eyes felt dry and poignant as he knew that Heng would never return to his side again for all eternity.

The screams that only now Ho could do to vent his deep sadness.

Sad, losing Heng who would never return to him again.
