My Husband's Ghost

My Husband's Ghost
Chapter 8 The Gaelic Prophecy

Gaelic prophecy

A fortune teller named Gael attracts Jia Li to come to his place at the Samhain Festival.

"Come to my tent lady, I have something that interests you!" said astrologer Gael.

"Ehk.", said Jia Li.

"Come, come in!", the Gael seer sat Jia Li on an oak bench.

"Ta-but.", said Jia Li nervously.

"Calm down, sweetheart... Sit back in peace" whispered Van Costel IV with a faint smile.

"M... !?", murmured Jia Li.

The expression on the face of the beautiful plum blossom was very anxious as she looked around at the Gael fortune teller.

A very creepy sight with several pumpkins lying on the right and left of the fortune teller.

"Give me your hand, miss!", said Gael softly.

"Emmm... Yes.", said Jia Li restlessly.

"You are so beautiful, miss... What is your name?", continued Gael with a friendly smile.

"My name is Jia Li", said Jia Li meekly.

"Jia Li's... A very beautiful name as pretty as the person and has the meaning of a good and beautiful name" said Gael.

"Thank you", Jia Li replied.

Van Costel immediately sat down docked towards Jia Li while leaning on the shoulder of the beautiful distinctive scented.

"What do you want to say to my wife, Gael?", asked Van Costel.

"I haven't said welcome back to you, Mr. Van Costel", Gael said. "How are you doing ?"

"Hm... The news is fine Gael even I feel very happy than before", said Van Costel.

"Thank God, sir, I'm glad to hear the news" replied the astrologer.

"What do you want to read from our relationship" Van Costel said.

"I see good luck in the relationship between the two of you and I read you will be happy forever" Gael continued.

The fortuneteller took out his divination cards from the direction of his brightly glowing palm.

"Look at these cards, sir!", said Gael.

Gael placed his divination cards on a table covered in a fine red cloth with nuts strewn across it.

"My Minor Arcana Card was very different when I was fortune telling master's wife, when I saw the pentacles card for fortune telling Jia Li, I see a very bright light that will never even dim, sir", said Gael.

"That's exactly what it is" Van Costel said.

"Even good luck will continue to come to the relationship between the two of you, there is a strong light covering the bond of your love" said Gael as he closed his eyes.

"Good, and I really like to hear it Gael" Van Costel said with a meaningful smile.

Jia Li was silent when he heard Gael's divination about the relationship between himself and Van Costel.

"Are you happy to hear that prophecy is beautiful?", asked Van Costel as he stroked Jia Li's hand.

When Van Costel asked him, Jia Li simply turned his face the other way without even answering.

Along with the ghost of Van Costel IV who had returned to the Moldovan valley, the Gaelic seer predicted that their love would be eternal and become a legend.

Gael predicted that their eternal love made a blessing for both partners although it was impossible but they would have a strong lineage.

"Child?", asked Jia Li in surprise.

"Right, you will have children in your marriage later but exactly when your descendants will be present, I myself cannot predict it, miss", said Gael.

The fortuneteller then arranged his divination cards with precision of mind and began to arrange them according to the calculation of the prophecy.

"I'm going to have a child, Gael !? Is your prophecy not mistaken for Aos's son?", asked Van Costel.

"True sir, you will have offspring with your master's wife" Gael said.

Gael immediately showed his divination card to Van Costel with a very serious expression.

"Oh yes !? But where could it be, Gael?", asked Van Costel.

"I'm a ghost, Gael... And there is no way I will have any offspring... I'm a ghost, Gael... Just a ghost" said Van Costel.

Jia Li who heard Van Costel's sad-sounding remark was filled with excitement as the handsome, handsome-looking man said.

Van Costel's ...

Jia Li imprinted in her little heart the name of her ghost husband, for some reason she felt very pity.

"Master is indeed a ghost but your wife is not a ghost and because of the efficacy of the plum blossom scent in Jia Li's body then you can have offspring" said Gael.

"Where do you know that Jia Li smells of plum blossoms?", asked Van Costel.

"The nose of an Aos is very sharp and I can smell it without having to approach this lady" Gael said.

Van Costel was only speechless staring coldly at the seer Gael, he was sitting on a bench of oak with both hands folded in front of his chest.

"I will show you the power of Gael's prophecy, sir" said Gael.

The fortuneteller then stood up and stepped towards the outside of the tent.

"Follow me!", asked Gael.

"Alright, Gael", said Van Costel.

Van Costel IV led the hand of Jia Li who was still silent daydreaming from the direction of his seat and invited his wife to come out following Gael the astrologer.

Outside the tent, Gael walked towards the backyard area of his tent with a stretch of pumpkin he had deliberately placed in a glowing circle.

"Please see for yourself the power of divination at this Samhain celebration and take a good look as I perform a special Samhain ritual for you" Gael said.

The seer Gael then walked into the area of the circle and he sat in the middle of the circle of light.

Gael's gaze was directed at his two palms which were emitting a bright flame light and were moving slowly upward towards the sky.

"That's me holding a baby!?", Jia Li cried.

He stepped slowly towards the Gaelic seer who was sitting inside the swirling halo, and he saw a picture of his life with Van Costel IV emerging from the two palms of Gael glowing with fire.

Jia Li saw the figure of himself with the ghost of Van Costel IV who was staring at a baby in his hand sling. And he saw an unusual sight for him that he was happy with Van Costel.

"Oh my Lord!?" said Jia Li with teary eyes.

Almost Jia Li could not believe what she saw with both eyes and it was very clear she felt it could not really happen in her life with Van Costel.

The man Jia Li never loved at all even he considered Van Costel IV, the figure of the man who had ruined his life.

"T-no... That is impossible", Jia Li choked.

Jia Li held her face while shouting loudly, her body shivering coldly, twitching for a moment then she fell limp.

"Jia Li!", cried Van Costel IV.

The handsome handsome man immediately rushed towards Jia Li who was fainting above his two hands.

"I'd better get out of this Samhain celebration, Gael" Van Costel said.

Seer Gael nodded his head quickly to Van Costel IV who was carrying Jia Li's body.

"Yes, sir", said Gael. "Please master immediately take Jia Li away" he continued.

"Thank you for your exciting performance, Gael" Van Costel said.

"I am not doing a show to the master but rather it is a real prophecy between the master's relationship with the master's wife" Gael said.

Seen a serious look from the seer Gael when looking at Van Costel IV then he gave a red apple to Van Costel.

"Bring this red apple and give it to Jia Li" Gael said.

"What is this red apple for?" asked Van Costel IV.

"To strengthen the soul of Jia Li who is easily fragile by outside pressures so that her heart becomes calm while living her married life with her master", said Gael while sharing her sweet smile.

"Alright, I will give you this red apple while he is still faint" Van Costel said as he looked at Jia Li's face in a sling.

Van Costel IV then disappeared from the tent area owned by the fortune teller Gael and went to return to his magnificent home.

Van Costel IV was seen in his room holding Jia Li in both hands and occasionally Van Costel's body appeared and disappeared and it continued until he climbed up the stairs personal house.

"Jia Li.", whispered softly to Van Costel to his unconscious wife.

He gently rubbed Jia Li's cold sweaty face then laid down Jia Li's body slowly on the bed.

Van Costel saw the red apple Gael gave him in his hand and bit him in part to give Jia Li who was still unconscious.
