Chapter 49 Falling Asleep With You

Jia Li leaned his head with long unraveled hair still wet by sweat sweat to the chest of Van Costel IV.

She sat with her ghost husband in a closed room.

The two leaned against the wall after the creepy fifteenth night they went through.

Jia Li fell asleep next to Van Costel who also slept with him.

The fifteenth night that felt long felt by the two made the pair of two worlds very tired.

Van Costel woke up from his sleep then turned his head towards Jia Li who was leaning on his shoulder.

He saw his wife sleeping next to him.

''Jia Li.'', whispered softly Van Costel IV.

The handsome ghost gently rubbed Jia Li's cheeks that were soaked with sweat.

He smiled as he looked at Jia Li who was soundly asleep.

''My dear.'', said Van Costel IV.

Jia Li's body tightly wrapped around him while kissing the beautiful woman's head.

''Forgive me... I should not have made it this way in my life, Van Costel IV said.

Van Costel let out a long sigh as he turned his head upwards staring faintly at the messy ceiling of the room.

''Perhaps this is the curse of Heaven for breaking the laws of Heaven and causing suffering among us...''

Van Costel IV pursed his lips tightly, enduring his grief at having to accept his destiny of becoming a ghost as well as getting the curse of the fifteenth night.

He held back his tears that were about to come down and diverted his mind from the sadness of his deep heart.

''Because I made Jia Li suffer to be my wife even though I was a ghost, '' Van Costel IV said.

The heart of Van Costel IV raged on choosing between the tasks he had to carry or choosing Jia Li.

''I love you so much Jia Li and I do not want to lose you to force you to stay with me and accept me, Van Costel IV said.

Van Costel IV gnashed his jaw while closing his eyes.

''Although this is very selfish I feel that I have to keep you with me but I will accept all the punishment of Heaven for keeping you.'', said Van Costel IV.

Van Costel leaned his head towards the wall while taking a deep breath.

''I should not have broken the heavens by not eating you on the fifteenth night and I have done something wrong again'', Van Costel IV said.

The handsome ghost turned its head towards the sleeping Jia Li.

''Jia Li.., sleep my dear.., for soon we will pass very unpleasant days.'', said Van Costel IV.

The corner of Van Costel IV's lips formed a smile as he looked at Jia Li's deeply asleep face.

''She was very beautiful, ''', muttered Van Costel IV.

Van Costel IV gently touched the tip of the nose of a beautiful woman who had become his life companion with his fingertips.

Smiling again when he heard the soft voice of Jia Li who was muttering loudly.

''God has given me a truly beautiful life partner and her beauty surpasses that of the heavenly angels', Van Costel IV murmured.

Van Costel IV then regained his senses for a moment when he looked at Jia Li.

Van Costel's prayer was heard touching the heart when he clutched his wife's body tightly.

Please Us...

He touched Jia Li's head affectionately then said.

Van Costel IV realized that the war would return just like the war of Patra.
