Part 26's. My Maid and I.
It doesn't feel like it's getting dark. After eating her dinner at a Japanese restaurant, Mina and Stanly are about to pass to the parking lot. Suddenly Stanly's phone rang and Stanly's eyes widened instantly.
"What happened Mr.." asked Mina who was also surprised by the man's expression.
"Mr Johanson came back.he asked me to pick him up at the Air port." said the man.
"Oh. Yes Mr.. I can go back alone." said Mina slowly.
"No. You just go there. I don't want to put my sister in danger..." the man said affirming when he saw the mouth of Mina who would reject his invitation.
"alright... Mr.." said Mina in a limp tone.
'Even though I refused, there was nothing I could do.' said Mina.
Mina sighed and walked after Stanly to the parking lot. The man still uses his office jaz. You could say he was quite handsome and dignified. The way it goes is also very special. The white man exuded a positive aura when he was next to him. Not like the Lady killer she said.
Mina stared at her reflection in the windshield. It's so changed 180° degree. He used to be so fat and tanned. After losing her weight, she looks so slim and beautiful. His skin is now whitened because he has never been exposed to direct sunlight every day. Not like when he was in Indonesia exactly in his hometown. He had to go out every day and face the hot sun from morning until noon in the rice field. It also does not include looking for grass for her goats.
'The woman in the glass, is really herself.' Mina's inner.
"Mina... Mr. Johanson almost landed on the Air port.we don't have time." said the man then got into the car.
Mina also rushed to get in and immediately closed the door of the car loudly.
Stanly started driving his car to the airport.
Arriving at the Changi Air port parking lot, Stanly invites Mina to come down and wait for the Boss at the Arrival waiting area. Mina sat next to Stanly holding her hand. He still wears his hat and looks around.
"Stans... " Stanly looked up to find the origin of the sound.
Stanly smilingly looked at the Boss and gave a welcome speech.
"Welcome, Boss.... is your trip fun..?" ask the assistant.
"Well... You saw for yourself, didn't you.....??" said the man relaxed. Engraved a smile that was rarely seen on the man's face before.
"Let's go home." said the assistant and snatched the suitcase that Adam Boss was carrying.
"Welcome Mr. Johanson." said Mina, looking down from the hat she was wearing.
"Hmmm... Who are you...??"ask Adam.
"Stan... You brought your date to pick me up...?? Ck.. you're too much Stan. You don't appreciate me. " said Adam in a high tone.
"Sorry... Boss... I have to take him. I don't want to happen what's happened to him. lest you blame me.." said the assistant firmly.
Adam was still confused by the words his assistant said. He doesn't understand why it could be like that. He did not want to know and shrugged his shoulders.
"Let's go home.. I'm so tired.." Adam asked Stanly.
They walk in accompaniment. Mina was behind Stanly.
"Mrs. Stanly.. Mr. Johanson's suitcase let me carry it." Mina whispered.
"No, Mina you're a girl let me take her." whispered Stanly.
"Be quiet and don't talk much." whispered Stanly again.
Adam was caught off guard by the behavior of the 2 people behind him. He decided not to listen to their whispers. All he wanted was to get to the apartment immediately and thank his Maid.
Arriving at the parking lot, Adam sat in the back seat. After entering the Boss's suitcase, Stanly and Mina still faithfully sat in their respective places like before. Adam was surprised by Stanly's behavior. He had never once brought a woman before him.
Adam looked at the woman with a cold look. He looked behind where he was sitting. 'The woman is quite beautiful, but I can't see her face completely because it's covered in a hat... who is that woman...?' his inner.
Mina who felt in the eyes of the man behind her intensely, made her very uncomfortable. Stanly knew that his boss was watching the woman next to him closely. He saw from the rearview mirror that Adam was looking at Mina with an intense and difficult look.
"Ah... Mina... Where's your papper bag...?" stanly asked starting the conversation to remove the silence in the car.
"I put it in the trunk along with Mr. Johanson's suitcase..why Mr. Stanly...?" ask Mina .
"Ah...no I'm just asking.It's possible that you forgot it somewhere." Stanly said.
Adam, who heard that his assistant called the woman next to him 'Mina', made his eyes perfectly round. Adam got up from his seat and grabbed Mina's hat and pulled it fast. Mina was shocked and turned her face to Adam.
Adam was in disbelief. He stared intently at Mina and looked at Mina's exposed arm with a hard-to-art look. Stanly who was driving glanced at his Boss in surprise and asked the Boss.
"What's up.. Bosss???" ask Stanly.
"What are you doing behind my back...?" adam asked coldly.
"You mean .." asked Stanly casually.
"What's the connection between you...???" said the man in a high tone.
Mina, who heard the high tone of her master, stares back and her eyes are locked in the eyes of her master Adam.
Adam was furious at what he saw at the moment. On Mina's neck had perched a gold necklace that was quite expensive. It was impossible for Mina to be able to afford it.
"Have you guys just dated...?" ask Adam in a high tone.
"Ah..we just walked down the street in West Coast Plaza... Boss... After I drove him to do a medical check-up that he should have done half a month ago. While waiting for the results to come out, I invite Mina to eat, walk the street shopping and also watch in the cinema. After that I took the results and then I took her out to dinner, and invited her to pick you up." Stanly said casually.
"Don't medical check-ups usually done at Stan's Hospital...? Did you plan something on him...? You like...? Remember Stan he was married and in this country there should be no connection whatsoever to the worker other than the boundary between the Boss and his servant and also I remind Stan he is my work... I won't let you play with him and impact me again... I don't want to deal with this country's Goverment anymore Stan, just 1 person makes trouble before Mina works for me." Adam said with emotion.
"We have nothing to do what Boss...!!! I just took him down the road, nothing more. You can ask Mina. We didn't do anything." she replied in a high tone.
Mina simply fell silent listening to the 2-man debate carefully. Digesting the words of his master and the assistant. Mina knows what they're saying.
"I'm sorry... Mr. Johanson, I and Mr. Stanly have no special relationship" Mina explained.
"If there's no connection, how could he give you that expensive necklace with just that." said Adam coldly.
Mina did not answer, she was still thinking about what was the right answer to convince her.
"Mina's already turned it down." said Stanly defending.
"But I forced him to accept it... I gave it to her as a sign that I loved her like she was my sister.." she continued.
Adam didn't bother to hear Stanly's words. He remembered that his assistant and best friend had lost his sister.
