Part 39's. My Maid and I
The morning is approaching. Mina was getting ready for her daily activities. His body was fresh after the shower. That empty infusion he was last night. With her ponytail-like hair and a t-shirt and long training pants, she came out of her room.
The central room/TV room light is still on until now. He found his master asleep on the sofa with many maps and paper scattered on the table and floor of the room.
The sun has not yet shown itself in the eastern horizon. It's still a while away. Mina picked up the paper on the floor and tidied it up on the table. The master fell asleep without a blanket as usual. He took a blanket in his master's room and then enveloped the man quietly and with a heart.
Mina started her daily activities as before. Clean all corners and every part of the apartment owned by his master with enthusiasm. Until 8 am he was still struggling with his clean show.
He accidentally dropped the knife he was holding and fell on the floor very hard. And woke up his master who was still asleep on the sofa.
Adam opened his eyes slowly. He began to search for his consciousness by rubbing his palm on his sleepy face. Adam awoke to the sound of something falling on the floor. The man got up and started looking for the origin of the voice earlier.
Adam was shocked. Seeing his maid struggling in the kitchen cooking food for breakfast. The man approached Mina and rebuked her.
"What are you doing...?" her question is flat.
"Ah... Good Morning Mr.. I was cooking for your breakfast." replied the woman with a smile.
"Aren't you sick...!!! Rest up...!!!" flat command.
"Oh.. sorry Mr... I'm healthy really. don't need to worry.." replied Mina with still developing her smile.
"I'm not worried about you. I just don't want to have to 2 times I call the Doctor for 2 days in a row to check on you and spend a lot of my money." said Adam flat.
His intention wanted to repay the master's kindness this morning, but he had already gotten the word no-put on from his master's mouth and made him stupefied. With a forced smile on his face, he answered his master's statement with a slight tinge of emotion.
"I'm well, thank you for taking care of me last night, and thank you for calling the doctor to check on me... And I will try to stay healthy while working here, so that I do not spend your precious money for treatment. Sorry to bother you last night." said the woman then returned to struggling with her cooking show in the kitchen.
Adam just stared at his maid without expression.
"Well, if you understand what I mean...!!!" said the man and walked to his room.
After getting ready to go to the office, Adam headed to the dining room for breakfast. Food is on the table.
The healthy breakfast has been neatly arranged and served nicely at the table. A glass of warm Milo. Adam stared across the street from his seat, staring at the food that would be his breakfast maid.
And the exact same fresh porridge as last night.
After seeing what he ate, Adam just fell silent and looked at the woman who was washing her dirty cooking utensils.
" We have breakfast...!!!" adam said flat and made Mina quit her activities and approached the master for breakfast together.
While eating his breakfast, Adam silently stole a glance at the woman who was enjoying the remaining porridge that had been warmed by the woman for breakfast.
"How about.." asked Adam between his meals.
"Ah.... I just want to ask how the porridge is...??" Adam asked as he put the sausage into his mouth.
"Oh... this is very tasty Mr... thanks for the porridge... I like...!!!" mina replied enthusiastically while smiling and showing her neat teeth.
Adam just nodded and drank his Milo. Seeing the woman in front of him eating voraciously and the hue of his face returning to how it was, made him feel relieved.
Although he often said rudely to the woman, but he always smiled and worked as he wished. There was a bit of disappointment in him when he heard what Stanly told him last night. The woman was in her inner distress and fainted from not being able to hold her back.
He was grateful he came back quickly yesterday. Otherwise, he doesn't know what will happen next. Surely the woman's family in Indonesia blamed her and asked for compensation for what happened. Especially husband. That's certain.
Feeling intensely stared at by the master, made him uncomfortable. As usual, he got out of his seat and went to take his dirty dishes to the kitchen. Leaving his master who was sitting in the dining room chair alone .
The arrival of Stanly's assistant is something he is very grateful for, besides the man often makes the tense atmosphere melt just like that because of his behavior.
The man approached the master and greeted him with a smile that looked like him.
"Morning... Boss...?!!" her greeting.
"Oh... Morning Stan... sit down...!!!" adam's orders to his assistant.
Stanly was sitting right in the chair that Mina was sitting in. He stared at the rolade in front of him with a sparkling ☺☺☺. As he was about to taste it, Adam shifted the plate containing the rolade away from Stanly's range.
"Boss.. I just want to taste it. Don't be stingy with this most loyal person by your side... Come onl... Boss....!!!" Stanly whining.
"It's Mina's, Stan. Don't you eat. she just recovered. So you eat the other one. As usual Mina must have prepared food for your breakfast...!!!" adam said flat.
Hearing Mina's words, he remembered that the woman had drooped last night. Is he healthy again...??? But where is wanuta...??? Stanly's mind twitched and looked for Mina.
"Ah....he's Boss....??? I mean Mina...!!!" ask the assistant.
"In the kitchen, maybe." said Adam flatly.
Stanly immediately moved from his seat and looked for Mina in the kitchen. After he found the woman he was looking for was taking his medicine, he immediately grabbed Mina's forehead and checked if she still had a fever.
Feeling that someone touched her, Mina turned her face away and her eyes met Stanly's eyes.
"Ehem.. ahem.." Deheman the Boss' voice resuscitated them. Stanly immediately pulled his hand from Mina's forehead.
" You're better...???" ask the man.
"It's been...Mr.... ah... have you come...???" mina asked the man.
Stanly nodded.
"Yes." she answered briefly.
"All right I'll get you your breakfast...!!" exclaim Mina.
The man nodded and passed back to the dining room. Stanly landed his ass on the chair. He looked at Adam the Boss cleaning up the map he brought yesterday and put it in his office bag.
