18. I came for you

Daisy drove around the factory for about two hours. This time I visited the office management department. The Factory Manager gathered all the office employees to introduce Daisy as their owner and director.

Daisy helped Maxi begin studying company data. Yesterday Daisy had time to study her financial statements. Now Daisy is studying the data in its entirety.

I don't feel like it's afternoon.

"Grandfather invites us to dinner at the villa" Maxi said as he opened the incoming message from Grandpa.

"Now we go to your house so you can rest before dinner with Grandpa. According to Grandpa, all your bags have been delivered there" said Maxi.

"Later tonight I'll pick you up" Maxi stood up from her chair.

While Daisy is assisted by miss Gaby tidying up the files on the desk and inserting them back into the folder.

"Miss Gaby, tomorrow morning at seven I want to see the plantation. Please make the schedule. After that we go to the production section" Daisy told Gabriella.

"Well, Miss" Gabriella noted it on the tablet she was carrying.

"The lunch schedule and after are arranged with Grandpa, right?" ask Daisy.

"Yes, Miss. Tomorrow's lunch with the big master at the villa. Then proceed to review Fiorella's new office with the big master, Mr. Maxi and the others" replied Gabriella.

"Tomorrow morning, I can't keep you company. Because of my schedule tomorrow morning with Grandpa meeting with prospective clients from the UK" Maxi read the schedule of his activities on mobile.

"No problem, Max. You just calm down. There's Miss Gaby who's always with me"

"You finish your job too" Daisy said.

"It's a big deal for me, away from you" Maxi murmured softly. It was heard by Daisy and Gabriella.

"Come, Max. Don't tease me" Daisy said with red cheeks.

Maxi laughs at Daisy's blushing face.

They rush towards Daisy's childhood residence which in the future will be her residence while here.

The car carrying them slid west towards the house with a golden green gate with flower plants around it.

Not much has changed. It's almost the same as before. Stay well-groomed. Some workers who were working rushed to Daisy. They've all been working in that house ever since Daisy left it.

"Welcome back home, Miss Daisy" Nina, the butler greeted Daisy enthusiastically. Beside him, the other servants lined up. Her name is Angelina. She has worked at Benvollio's residence since young and day-to-day babysit Bella, Daisy's mother. Everyone called her Nina. Nina was about sixty years old at the moment.

"Thank you, Nina. It's been a long time since I came home" Daisy hugged Nina warmly.

"We all miss Miss very much" Nina looked at Daisy in tears.

"Miss has grown into a very beautiful girl" she said again.

"Thank you, Nina and everyone for taking care of this house" Daisy smiled at all the servants.

Daisy stepped into the house. The aroma of fresh cut flowers and the arrangement of the room is the same as when he and his family were still gathered. Nothing really changed.

"We've prepared lunch for Miss and Mr. Maxi. Aranetha arranged everything" Nina said.

Miss Aneth approaches Daisy.

"Please Miss and Mr. Maxi" said Miss Aneth.

Suddenly a servant came in and spoke to Nina.

"Miss, there's a guest outside looking for Miss. Her name is Miss Clarissa" Nina said.

Daisy and Maxi look at each other. "Clarissa?" say them simultaneously.

"Please come in" Daisy replied quickly. She was worried about making Clarissa wait for a long time outside.

"Nina, everyone can return to continue their activities. Thank you for everything" Daisy said.

Nina nodded her head. "Good, Miss. Call me if you need help" he said. Then he dispersed the servants who had been lined up next to him.

"Clarisss...how did you get here?" Daisy hugged Clarissa tightly.

"Grandfather sent a helicopter to pick me up" he replied, looking up at Maxi standing next to Daisy.

Clarissa waved her hand. "Callo, Maxi"

Maxi breathed. "Hello, bringel"

Clarissa giggled at Maxi's words and saw the annoyance on her face.

"I came here for you, Daisy. I think you need a friend. I seduced grandma into being allowed to follow you here. I just want to take care of my little sister" Clarissa said.

"Grandmother told Grandpa, and Grandpa let me" Clarissa continued.

"Well glad you're here" Daisy choked quietly.

Maxi cleared. Clarissa laughed looking at Maxi who was still bending her face.

"I'll be lonely at night to sleep here again, Max. Thank goodness there was Clarissa. So I'm not too lonely" Daisy told Maxi.

"Yes, I know koq. As long as he doesn't bring me along and bothers me while with you, I won't mind" Maxi murmured.

Actually, he was just pretending to be upset. In his heart, he was very pleased with Clarissa's arrival. Because it can accompany Daisy at home so as not to dissolve in sadness. After all it was a house where all the memories with his family were stored.

Even though there was miss Aneth and many servants in the house, still she needed someone who understood her feelings deeply. And now Maxi can't keep Daisy company. Because they're not married and Maxi's staying at Grandpa's villa.

He knows very well that Clarissa will take good care of Daisy. Clarissa and Daisy are very familiar. They were the two granddaughters in the Edoardo family whom Grandpa and Grandma loved the most. So it's only natural that Grandpa and Grandma would allow Clarissa to be with Daisy.

"Not pretend to be upset. I know you're actually happy with my presence. Because Daisy was there to accompany" Clarissa spoke slowly.

Maxi laughed at hearing that.

"You're indeed a bad-ass detective" Maxi muttered again.

"We better eat soon. It's past lunch hour. And I've been feeling really hungry" Daisy said.

They headed towards the dining table. There is bread, potatoes and Ukha soup available on the table of each chair. There are three places available.

"Her partner Miss Aneth already knows Clarissa's presence. That's why she had prepared a lunch menu for the three of them" Daisy thought glancing at Clarissa.

"I asked Miss Aneth not to tell you of my coming. So don't blame her" Clarissa said as if she knew what Daisy had in mind.

Daisy chuckles.

"Now you're a mind reader too, Clariss?" hiss Daisy.

"Sometimes" Clarissa replied with her mischievous smile.

"What is this soup? I just saw it" Clarissa asked as she looked at Ukha's soup bowl.

"This soup is called Ukha. Salmon soup, a traditional Russian dish. It's Nina's. Nina is from Russia. It takes a little bit of special skill to make this soup. So in this house only Nina can make it taste this good" Daisy replied.

"It's one of my favorite foods" Daisy continued.

Maxi inhaled the scent of Ukha while closing his eyes.

"The aroma of fragrant and appetizing it comes from the combination of pepper and sprinkling of parsley leaves" said Daisy.

"It turns out you know quite well about spices and cooking" Maxi muttered.

"My sister is really smart, Max" said Clarissa.

Maxi just smiled.

"Come, please eat" Daisy invites Maxi and Clarissa to eat. So that they also cease to covet one another.
