MY NAME IS DAISY - NOT A BAD DUCK
28. The Amare Forest

Daisy rides her horse into the Amare forest. The forest next to the hill belongs to the Benvollio Mansion. As a child he often played into the forest to see some wild little animals such as rabbits and squirrels. But what he enjoys the most is enjoying the expanse of bluebells that will appear throughout the spring.

The flowers should have appeared by now. This flower only grows in its natural habitat in an old forest. If it is already blooming it will look like a carpet of blue-purple color that is very beautiful.

Daisy tightened her legs to the body of the horse she was riding so that her horse ran slowly. Then it slowed down and walked normally.

Right from where it is already seen a stretch of bluebells flowers.

Daisy's eyes looked at the same expanse she had seen many years ago when she was a child.

His horse walked slowly on the path between the blue expanse. Under the shade of large canopied trees in the Amare forest, the fresh air and sunlight that tries to break through the canopy of large tree foliage in spring always has a distinctive aroma for Daisy. He inhaled the air slowly while closing his eyes. Very soothing. Instantly made him feel like he was floating. It felt like sleeping in his scent cradle.

"These flowers have been blooming for the past few days" a voice made Daisy surprised to almost fall off her horse. But strangely his horse remained calm even though Daisy's legs accidentally touched the body of his horse rather tight.

Daisy opened her eyes. David Ferguson was standing next to him, gently stroking his horse's head. The horse should remain calm. The horse looked comfortable and comfortable.

"I'm sorry if I startle you, Miss Daisy" said David, bowing his body.

Daisy rushed down from her horse.

"I didn't hear you coming, Mr. David. That's why I was a bit surprised" Daisy said with a smile.

"I've enjoyed this natural beauty too much" Daisy continued.

"This blue expanse is so pretty" Daisy muttered in admiration.

"Yes, very pretty" David stared fixedly at Daisy. Then immediately turned his gaze towards his horse that was following him behind. "She's so pretty" she whispered to her horse with a smile. The horse neighs slowly.

"Bluebells flowers are purportedly viewed as a way to communicate feelings and thoughts related to humility to others. Because the shape of the flowers are increasingly blooming down" said David.

"Ah yes, like that is also what I heard from my grandmother before" Daisy said.

"There is even a story that says that the rabbits that often run among the bluebells are the incarnation of fairies" Daisy said. She recalled her grandmother's story as they walked through this forest and saw rabbits running among the flowers.

"And that's the same story my grandmother told her granddaughter" David chuckled.

"Oh yeah?" ask Daisy

David nodded.

"Aren't you afraid to walk alone in the woods, Miss?" david asked his eyes checking around. Doesn't look like an escort.

"The city of Amber is a safe city, even in its forests. I was born and grew up here until the age of eight and was used to playing in this forest as a child" Daisy replied.

"Aren't you afraid of meeting the bad guys in the woods?"ask David again.

Daisy shook her head.

"To be honest, I actually met good people like you in this forest" Daisy replied with a sweet smile.

David laughed at Daisy's reply.

"Where do you know that I'm a good person?" ask David again.

Daisy stroked the head of her horse.

"Whenever you know you're a good person. He stays calm when you hold him even if you come all of a sudden" Daisy replied. It made David laugh.

"You're very pleasant and friendly, Miss Daisy" David said.

"You too, Mr. David" Daisy said.

"Call me David or Dave" David said, smiling at Daisy.

Daisy nodded. "alright. You can also call me Daisy without Miss"

"OKAY. Daiz" said David to make Daisy turn.

"Daiz?" Daisy frowned.

"Yes, Daiz. It means the same as Daisy. Aster flowers" David replied with a sweet smile. Then he led his horse towards the middle of the forest. Predecease Daisy.

Daisy fell silent. He seemed to be carried away to the whirlpool of time that had passed.

Daiz was a beloved calling from his father for him.

That man, why did he call him the same as father.

Daisy looked at the back of David walking in front of her.

"If you shut up means you don't mind, Daiz" David spoke. Then look towards Daisy again.

"Aren't you seeing the lake and the squirrels funny?" ask David.

Daisy is getting less and less able to say anything. How David could tell that one of his goals for this forest was to see cute squirrels running around on a pine tree by the lake at the end of a blue bells flowerbed.

"Everyone who comes to this forest, in addition to seeing the expanse of blue bells they would want to enjoy the beautiful scenery by the lake and the action of the cute squirrels" David spoke. As if knowing the question in Daisy's head.

"Aaah, it's true" Daisy finally got out of her confusion.

"This path is my path if I ride every morning. Get to the end of the lake there and turn towards our mansion" said David.

Apparently David was used to going around the forest to the edge of the lake.

If they were to walk around the path along the edge of the lake, they would arrive under the hill belonging to the Ferguson family across the Benvollio Mansion. The place where Daisy saw David a few days ago.

"What about your hand injury?" daisy asked as her eyes did not see the bandage in David's hand. Even his hands seemed to be moved

"Have recovered. Now he can ride again" David raised his hand. Showing that he's okay.

"Thank God" said Daisy.

"Daiz, look. Squirrels jump very agilely" David tells Daisy. His hands point up to the top of the pine tree where the squirrels jump.

"They're so awesome" Daisy muttered in amazement.

"Yes, right. Very impressive" Timpal David. His eyes looked at Daisy.

Daisy is unaware of David's gaze, as she is too happy to see the scene. The lake is clear water, the pine trees are neatly lined, and of course the squirrels are cute.

After nine years had passed, he was finally able to relish this sight.

Daisy glanced at her watch. It's nine in the morning. Apparently he had been driving around for two hours in the forest. It was time to go home and take a shower. Because ten Maxi's coming.

"It looks like I have to go home, Mr. David. Thank you for accompanying me around" Daisy said.

"Call Dave, okay?" David says.

"Aah yes. Okay, Dave. I'm home"

"Want me to go home?" ask David.

"no need. Thanks though. I can do it myself. See you, Dave" said Daisy waving her hand.

"See you, Daiz" David returned a wave of his hand.

Daisy drives her horse quickly towards her mansion, which leaves David stunned. Girls as gentle and graceful as Daisy can race horses quickly and smartly. Very unexpected.

"The girl is full of surprises" murmured David with a fluffy smile.

He's very happy.

From a distance he saw Daisy had already arrived at his mansion. A car enters the gate and Daisy welcomes him.

Maxi got out of the car. Then embrace Daisy's hand. They walk into the house.

"They act like they're not cousins" David thought.

"I need to find out more about Daisy and Maxi's relationship" David thought as he headed to his mansion.
