34. Music Festival 2

William Ferguson, who was sitting in his wheelchair, was shocked to see the piano playing of a girl from the Edoardo family. He sat in the VIP seat next to his son, David Ferguson.

"She looks a lot like Bella" he muttered barely blinking.

"The girl must be Bella and Alessio's daughter" he thought.

His mind flies back in time as he and Bella both learn to play the piano. They had studied with the same teacher even though they were ten years old.

She was sixteen, and Bella was six. Bella was like a sister to him. They often played together before his father moved him to England to continue his schooling there. She occasionally gets news about Bella from her grandmother who is neighbors with Benvollio's extended family

When Bella got married, she also did not have time to attend because David who was five years old at that time was sick.

"She's the daughter of Bella Benvollio and Alessio Edoardo" David whispered when he saw his father look stunned by Daisy's appearance.

William's daydreams were broken instantly.

"Dad expected it. She looks a lot like her mother" his father said, turning his head and smiling.

"You must love it" his father murmured with a straight gaze fixed towards the stage.

David laughed softly. Without any intention of responding to his father's opinion.

"Your eyes can't lie from my father" his father said confidently.

"I love the piano game, Dad" David dodged it with a clumsy face.

"The sound is very good, has its own characteristics" his father continued, then laughed softly. Then clap because Daisy's piano playing is over.

"Don't be disappointed if he's chosen another man if you don't want to admit how you feel" his father said again as his eyes fell on Maxi who clapped and got a wave of hands from Daisy with a loving look.

Huuuff....David breathed slowly. She jealous.

His father glanced at him while shaking his head.

"Don't be jealous, you'll just love the piano" his father murmured.

"Already, father. She already has a husband. I also know Maxi, her future husband" whispered David. He hopes his father will stop talking about Daisy.

"Okay, I won't talk about it anymore" said his father still with a little laugh left.

The music festival is over. Daisy who had changed clothes rushed to meet Maxi who had been waiting for her in front of the showroom.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting, Max" Daisy said. His hand received a helping hand from Maxi who then took it to his arm.

"No problem, Daisy"

"I'm your future husband.Next month we're getting engaged. It's my job to take care of you" said Maxi.

"Alright, Max. Thanks though. You are very kind. A very considerate husband" said Daisy.

"Let's meet Grandpa, Grandma and all the Edoardo family. They're waiting for you at the restaurant" Maxi clasps Daisy's hand into the restaurant on the first floor of the Star Marine hotel.

"Grandfather purposely invited us all to dinner here. Said to celebrate the success of your performance earlier" said Maxi.

"Oh yeah?. I don't know about this" Daisy muttered.

"Take this a surprise" said Maxi as she winked her left eye.

Daisy's cheeks suddenly red.

"Don't be ashamed, it's because Grandpa is so proud of you"

"Oooh no, I'm the proudest actually" Maxi smiled happily.

"Well you could, Max"

"can't you believe I was so proud to see you on stage?"

"Of course I believe" Daisy returned Maxi's smile.

They had arrived at the restaurant entrance. A servant invited them in and led them to a special room that had been ordered by Edoardo's grandfather.

Everyone who was there greeted Daisy with a happy face. Except Marie and Cleo. While Joane, he actually welcomed Daisy with enthusiasm.

"What are you doing, Joane?" Marie elbowed Joane's stomach.

"Sick, Brother" Joane grimaced.

"Why are you good to her now?" Marie whispered back.

"We don't deserve to hate it. He's a good boy. He is also our brother, brother. Instead he made our extended family proud" Joane threw a smile at Daisy.

Daisy returned her smile.

"Are you healthy?" ask Maxi.

Daisy pokes Maxi's arm. Maxi and her parents laughed softly.

"I sincerely spoke those words from my deepest heart. You guys don't believe it?" joane lowered her head.

"Thank you, Joane. I know you sincerely said it" Daisy said with a fluffy smile.

"Okay, Joane we believe. Thank you for being nice" his father said, patting Joane on the shoulder.

"Daisy, can we take a picture together?" Joane hands Maxi her phone and poses next to Daisy.

Maxi picks up Joane's phone, pretending not to understand Joane's intentions.

"Please photograph us, brother Maxi"Desis Joane said.

"All right" said Maxi.

"Naah already" Maxi handed Joane's phone.

Joane grabbed it and checked the pictures.

"Well good results. I'm no less beautiful than Daisy. Thank you, Brother Maxi" said Joane jubilant.

He immediately posted the photo on his social media account.

Maxi who sat next to him could only laugh a little at his sister's behavior. But at least Joane is now being nice to Daisy. That was enough to make Maxi's heart relieved.

"What did you do to get to this music festival, Daisy?" chirp Marie when everyone is ready to enjoy the meal.

"Marie, what do you mean?" Aunt Victoria stared at Marie sharply.

"Kaj must have used a sneaky way. Or it could be that you seduced Mr. Connor" Marie continued.

"You don't even have a trace of achievement in the field of music. How can you suddenly perform at the Jack Connor music Festival?" marie again.

Daisy was silent. He didn't think it was necessary to answer Marie's questions or deny her allegations. Because it will be free. Marie would hate him.

Maxi clasps Daisy's hand under the table trying to calm down. Because he himself wanted to be angry.

Daisy stood up and nodded her head to grandfather, grandmother and all.

"Thank you Grandpa, Grandma and all the Edoardo families I love" Daisy said.

All of them clapped their hands with happy laughter. Except Marie and Cleo had to.

They also had dinner with joy.
