MY NAME IS DAISY - NOT A BAD DUCK
20. Man Riding on the Hill

This morning Daisy woke up refreshed. He slept very well last night. He didn't even listen to all of Clarissa's talk when they were talking before bed. Daisy feels like she's being read a fairy tale by Clarissa.

He looks around. There is no Clarissa. Daisy glanced at the clock on the wall. It's five in the morning. Where's Clarissa at this early hour?.

"Haaallooo, sweet sister. Good mornin. I saw your sleep was very good. So I can't bear to wake you up earlier" Clarissa appeared from behind the balcony door of the room. He wears a sweater and jeans. It's beautiful and very cheerful.

Daisy smiled as she let go of the bolster that she had been hugging.

"Have you taken a shower? It's been so pretty so early" Daisy murmured.

"I took a shower an hour ago. In this cold morning air I was planning to take a bath with warm water. But I think if I take a cold shower it will make me fresher" Clarissa said excitedly.

"Yes, it's better to take a cold shower. The body becomes fresher" Daisy said.

"alright. I took a shower first Clariss" Daisy rushed into the bathroom.

Later after bathing, maybe he will tour the house for a while before saraoan and set off to see the plantation. He wants to see Mom and Dad's room. Also Marino's room.

Sayup-sayup heard the bathroom door being knocked.

"Daisy, I went to Grandpa's villa for a while. My camera's left there. I'll be back as soon as I can before breakfast" Clarissa's head popped out the door. After Daisy lets him open the door.

"Alright, be careful on the road" said Daisy who was soaking cold water in a bath tub.

"This morning you're soaking in cold water, Miss Daisy? I just took a shower just rushed to finish so cold. You can relax in that cold tub. You are indeed a princess" Clarissa said as she closed the bathroom door. He shook his head.

**

Daisy opened the door to her parents' room. It is still the same as it used to be and very well maintained. Every day the waiter cleaned and opened the windows and all the curtains so that air and sunlight could enter.

Daisy sits at her mother's dresser. Looking at the portrait of the four of them who were laughing happily. He hugged the frame while holding back the cry with a long sigh.

"I love you guys. I miss you guys. May you be happy there" whispered Daisy.

Slowly he walked to the balcony. From the balcony of her parents' room, she could see a wide view towards the lake.

But he was a bit stunned because the hill opposite near the lake had now turned into a flower plantation. Daisy believes it doesn't belong to the Benvollio family. Because the plantation area belongs to them only to the limit of the small lake.

Suddenly the sound of horses neighing. Daisy's looking for the source of the sound. A man wearing a thick jacket was riding his horse on the flower hill. He looked at Daisy then nodded his head while smiling respectfully. Daisy hesitantly returned her smile while nodding her head. The horseman came down from the hill and down the edge of the lake. Sometimes he looks back at Daisy with a smile.

Then the man went back down the path between the flower trees that began to develop.

The sound of a car coming into the gate. Clarissa. He came down and took his camera. "I'm not late for breakfast, am I?" clarissa said to Daisy, who was standing on the balcony railing.

Daisy shakes. Clarissa raised her thumb.

Daisy rushed to the dining room.

"Be careful of the man riding" Clarissa said as they sat on the dining table.

Daisy looked surprised. How could Clarissa know about the horseman.

Clarissa fixed her glasses. She rarely wears it.

"These "glasses can function like binoculars. I can change the function as needed" he showed a kind of control button in the frame of his glasses.

"Aaaah that's why you can see the person riding on the hill earlier clearly" Daisy nodded in understanding.

"His name is David Ferguson. A family of Ferguson royals who had just moved to Amber a year ago" Clarissa said.

"They opened a flower plantation in the northern area of Amber city covering an area of about ten hectares. In addition, they also built a water park at the northern end of Amber" continued Clarissa.

Daisy surprised.

"I just found out that there's a water park in Amber" Daisy murmured.

"If there is free time, we play around the city of Amber. It's a lot of people now. All of us visit Grandpa's milliylk shopping center that's been built there" Clarissa again makes Daisy surprised.

They did come by helicopter from Brown city directly to Grandpa's villa. Not going through the city center.

Daisy doesn't pay much attention from the helicopter as they arrive over the city of Amber.

"Indeed, many people know about this shopping center. Grandfather entrusted the management to my father" Clarissa ended her conversation when two maids came to bring breakfast.

Clarissa looked carefully at the bowl containing the green-colored fruit. He's never seen her.

"It's an olive" said Daisy.

"Isn't Olive just for making oil?" Clarissa took a. Then look at the fruit.

"This is a young olive. Tastes good. Try it" said Daisy.

"If olives are old, that's what is made for oil" Daisy said.

"In the backyard of this house there are two olive trees. I don't know if maybe the olive tree we had is decades old. Because according to my grandmother, since she was a child the tree has existed"

"The olive tree can be thousands of years old" Daisy bit an olive and chewed it with pleasure.

"Try to find out about the olive tree. You're a detective" Daisy said, making Clarissa laugh.

"I'm detective. Not a scientist or plant researcher, pretty sister" Clarissa pokes Daisy's cheeks.

Daisy chuckles. He deliberately teased Clarissa.

"This fruit has been in every breakfast since I was a child. My mom always put it on the dinner table. It can be mixed in salads too. Excellent for health and beauty" Daisy said.

"Just let your skin be very smooth and beautiful. Turns out this is the secret" murmured Clarissa.

Daisy laughed again.

They started breakfast together in silence. After all the dishes are served on the dining table.

"Remember my words earlier. Don't get too close to the horseman. One day he'll try to get to know you" Clarissa said as they finished breakfast and sat in the park chair waiting for the driver and Gabriella to drive Daisy to the estate.

"Are you able to predict as well?" daisy asks Clarissa while staring at the flower plantation on the opposite hill.

"The way she looked at you the way Maxi looked at you the first time she met" Clarissa said.

"Do you want to be liked and loved by someone other than Maxi?" ask Clarissa.

Daisy shakes.

"Enough Maxi, Clariss" muttered Daisy.

"I think every man who sees you must admire your beauty. But not everything you can love, right? and not everyone can love you like Maxi"

"Whatever it is, it will make it difficult for you" Clarissa said

"Well, detective instinct. You're great Clariss" said Daisy.

Not long after the car that was going to drive Daisy arrived. Gabriella gets out of the car and lets Daisy get in the car.

"Do you want to come with me around the plantation?" ask Daisy to Clarissa.

"I don't want to interfere with your work. I'm going downtown anyway and I'm meeting my dad and Cedro there" Clarissa said.

"Cedro is here?" daisy asked in surprise.

"She has been taking online classes since the middle of last year. So he can while learning to work with dad managing the shopping mall here"

"I'll be back here in the afternoon" Clarissa said.

"Hmmh, okay. Give my regards to uncle and Cedro" Daisy hugs Clarissa.

"Remember your brother's cool message. Be careful of the man" Clarissa glanced her eyes at the hill opposite them.

Daisy blinked her eyes at the evidence. I faintly heard the loud roar of a horse. His horse felt pain. It appears that the horseman was driving his horse rather quickly while looking at Daisy and then nodded his head. Daisy replied to his nod. The man is getting further away, but the sound of his horse is still clear and makes Daisy worried about the condition of his horse.

"All right, I'll be careful. Thank you for reminding me" whispered Daisy. He could guess the man's gaze earlier. And he felt that what Clarissa said was right. He should be careful.
