My Pet Husband

My Pet Husband
CHAPTER 40 Getting Rid of All That's Bothering Daniella

"What do you want to talk about?" ask Jonathan.

"Go back. Your place is not here" said Brandon.

"My life, you don't have to take care of it" Jonathan said flatly.

"If you don't cross the line, I won't ask you to leave."

"I didn't do anything."

"Don't lie to me! You killed Evan."

"No," Jonathan said expressionlessly.

Brandon just smiled. "I know what you've done, I've been investigating a fire at Matt Forse's birthday show. Deliberate fire, though I have no evidence. However, which one of us has the ability to hack. It was you who did it. All that bothers Daniella, you're gonna get rid of her!" exciting Brandon.

Brandon took a long breath. "I'll take care of what's here. Hurry up and go abroad. I can cover up what you did to Evan" he continued.

Daniella who heard the conversation of two people she knew just stood frozen. His brain could not think clearly.

Brandon's voice was clearly heard in Daniella's ears. His legs were getting weaker, he retreated his footsteps and chose to leave the place, without hearing the whole conversation Brandon and Jonathan had.

"I told you I didn't kill him" Jonathan said expressionlessly.

"Tell me, does Nathan control you?" ask Brandon.

Jonathan fell silent as Brandon asked Nathan. Lately, he has become himself. However, Jonathan felt himself mingled with the figure inside him.

Sometimes Jonathan himself cannot tell who is showing himself.

Jonathan didn't want to say anything further to Brandon. He chose to leave the man and return to where Daniella was waiting. However, just two steps away, he heard Brandon making another sound.

"I can't face you anymore. I'll leave it to your grandfather!" lang Brandon's.

Jonathan turned back, he walked up to Brandon. "Now you show me who you really are. What you've been doing is an order from my family. You have shown me that you are my family dog. Do what you want because I won't bow to anyone!"

Jonathan turned back and left Brandon. He was disappointed by what Brandon said. The friendship they make is just a paid friend.

Jonathan knows, Brandon's living expenses are borne by his family and in exchange, Brandon must become Jonathan's friend. At first Jonathan thought Brandon was sincere, until he knew the truth.

Jonathan doesn't care about that. At the beginning of their friendship Jonathan can see the sincerity of Brandon. After they got close, his family extended a helping hand to Brandon.

Jonathan's feet continued to step up to where Daniella was waiting. But he did not find the woman. He continued to search every corner of the place, still not finding the whereabouts of his wife.

Jonathan called Daniella's phone. However, it is not picked up by the owner of the phone. He began to see Daniella's position from the GPS attached to the phone.

Knowing Daniella's position towards the house made Jonathan breathe a sigh of relief. He stepped out of the building and stopped the taxi.

Daniella who arrived home immediately threw her body on the chair.

I know what you've done, I've been investigating the fire at Matt Forse's birthday show. Deliberate fire, though I have no evidence. However, which one of us has the ability to hack. It was you who did it. All that bothers Daniella, you're gonna get rid of her!

I'll clean up what's here. Hurry up and go abroad. I can cover up what you did to Evan.

Brandon's voice still echoed in his ears. Several times denied, but still the voice was still heard clearly.

Daniella is still pensive, Jonathan will get rid of the people who bother her. Daniella's brain kept thinking. I looked back at some of the events. Evan suddenly goes to prison and dies. Fire at Matt Forse's birthday party.

Daniella bit her fingernails, accident reporter who threw a drink can at her. Until the falling lights hit Cysara.

It's not all a coincidence. Recalling Jonathan's flat expression when Daniella enthusiastically told him about the reporter and Cysara. It certainly shows the same expression when Jonathan hears of Evan's death.

Let alone empathy, sympathy was not visible from the look on Jonathan's face. Daniella tries to recall the memories of their past.

Daniella once asked Jonathan about the stray dogs that often roam the streets that Daniella often passes. At the time, Jonathan simply said he had kicked him out.

Daniella believes everything Jonathan has to say though, the buzz about the stray dog's gruesome death is heard in Daniella's ears.

Likewise with his classmates who had bullied him. The people who were bothering him had an accident even though it was not to the point of killing lives.

Daniella's getting deeper biting her nails. Keep thinking until he remembers something. "Rosemary," murmured Daniella.

Daniella got up from her seat. The smell of rosemary on Jonathan's body at night. Yes, many rosemary plants in the backyard, precisely around the tool shed in the corner of the yard.

Daniella stepped on her legs, she half ran towards the barn. Until he stood in front of the barn. His eyes are circulating, rosemary plants thrive around the shed and do not grow anywhere else.

Daniella's heart was pounding, afraid of what she thought was happening. He pushed the barn door. However, this time the door of the warehouse was on a padlock.

Daniella's driving around the outside of the barn. He found an axe. Without hesitation, take the axe and bring it. Daniella raised both of her hands that were firmly grasping the axe. He hit the lock until the door opened.

Daniella stepped inside the barn, she was just pecking inside the warehouse. Until he finally heard the feeble groan of a woman.

Trying to sharpen his hearing. His eyes were on a table. Under the table there is a cloth as the base.

I don't know why his heart was on the table. He shifted the table and rubbed the cloth that became the tabletop footwear.

A basement door, Daniella unhesitatingly pulled that door up. A ladder was placed before his eyes. Down every ladder.

Eventually he arrived in the basement. Fear and curiosity mixed. Daniella tried to ignore the fur on her back.

Trying to break the shadow of a horror film that suddenly crossed his brain. The not-so-large basement felt very damp.

Daniella's hand poked against the wall, looking for a switch. Click! Light lamps illuminate the basement.

Daniella raised her hand, the light of the lamp blinding her pupils. Same with the weak woman. He was unable to raise his hand to banish the light and could only close his eyes.

After adjusting the light to his eyes. Daniella slowly lowered her hand. He instantly widened his eyes when he saw a woman he knew lying weakly.
