CHAPTER 55 End Part 2

Daniella just froze hearing Joella's plea. This time, her little girl asked Jonathan to be present in their midst. For years her husband has not been cured.

Luckily, Joella was there to accompany Daniella. If not, maybe Daniella will lose hope for life. Jonathan's great love for her is contagious to him. Yeah, Daniella loves Jonathan so much.

Daniella never covers up on Joella that Jonathan is her father. What Daniella told Joella. Jonathan is on medication abroad. Right, Daniella's not lying. Jonathan was taken care of abroad. However, Daniella did not say that Jonathan was suffering from a mental illness.

Every month, Daniella gets only reports of Jonathan's health development. He could not get permission to meet Jonathan. The main cause of Jonathan's insanity is Daniella. Anybody who approaches or annoys Daniella. So, Jonathan seemed obliged to get rid of those people.

One more fact that Daniella knows. Matt Forse, after a fire at his birthday party. He went bankrupt and it was Jonathan.

Daniella was only able to massage her own forehead when she learned of the news a year ago. Matt Forse is clearly interested in Daniella. But he did nothing himself. But, still got the impact from Jonathan.

Fortunately Daniella can help return Matt Forse's company as compensation even though he did not say why he helped Matt Forse.

One regret in Daniella's heart is the death of her former lover. Evan, even though Evan used it. Taking his youth just for an empty wishful thinking of him. However, Evan did not harm her or maybe not or even failed when Evan gave her the medicine.

Daniella just thought, is death worth Evan? Or should Brandon get the death penalty? Yeah, Brandon's behind all this. Supposedly, Jonathan had been cured a long time ago.

Had Brandon not poisoned Jonathan, would he and her husband be happy at this time?

Daniella can only smile when she sees Joella who is always cheerful. That pretty face was down from Jonathan. The wavy long curly hair fits perfectly on Joella's cute face. White with a very sweet smile. Either downhill from where the cheerful nature of Joella.

They went to the morning market, there was a bazaar there. A wide variety of regional foods are served. “Mom, I want it,” point Joella at one food stand.

“You want moon cake?”

“Ya.”

“Wait here and don't go anywhere. Mommy will be queuing first.”

“Good, Mom.”

Daniella left Joella. Too many people are lining up to buy mooncakes. So Daniella leaves Joella.

Joella waits for Daniella while enjoying the ice cream in her hands. He sat on a large pot that housed a mango tree.

Somehow the tree does not move the tree to a wider area and prefers to grow in a fairly large pot. However, it does not make the mango tree grow large.

Joella moved her legs that did not reach the ground. Humming sang the children's song with the occasional lick of ice cream in his hands.

“What's good ice cream?” ask a man.

Joella looked at the grown man. “Yes. Want to?” bargain Joella but she did not give her ice cream.

“Sure, I want,” said the man by putting his hand hoping Joella gives ice cream to him.

“If Om wants, Om can buy it there,” point Joella at ice cream store.

The man laughed at Joella's chattering. “Didn't you offer? Why should I buy?”

“I do not offer. I just asked Om. Does Om want to. If you want, you can buy it yourself. I'm sure Om has the money,” explained Joella in a typical child tone.

The man sat next to Joella, he was very comforted by the five-year-old girl's chatter.

Daniella manages to get Joella's mooncake wish. He rushed to his son. Her footsteps stopped when she saw the person beside Joella.

“Brandon,” call Daniella.

Brandon looked at Daniella. “Hai.”

“How are you?” ask Daniella.

There is a small play area in the market. Daniella lets Joella play car bombs so she can talk to Brandon.

“As you can see. Now I'm good. God still gives me a chance to improve. Coma for a year and getting proper treatment made me better. The doctor declared myself cured of my mental illness,” Brandon explained.

“Thank God. I'm sorry for Jonathan's actions to you.”

Brandon smile. “I'm the one who should be apologizing to you.” Brandon looked at Daniella. “Now I know why Jonathan loves you so much. You're really sincere Daniella, you're just using your heart to judge others. Jonathan was lucky to get you.”

“I'm lucky to get Jonathan,” timpal Daniella.

Brandon got up from his seat. “Alright, I have to go.”

“Ya, be careful.”

Brandon looked at Daniella. “I visited Jonathan.”

Daniella looked up, looking at Brandon. As if waiting for the man to say another word. Brandon and Jonathan are being treated in different mental hospitals. During that time, there was no meeting between them.

“I think he'll be out soon,” continued Brandon.

Daniella just smiled, hoping that what Brandon said really materialized.

Brandon left Daniella. Joella approached her mother.

“Mom, Where was that Om?”

“That's Brandon, he still has business.”

“Oh. We so ‘kan to the playground?” joella asked enthusiastically.

“Sure. Let's go.” Daniella looks at the watch in her hand. “Mommy flavor, we will arrive on time.”

“Yeah ... come!” exclaiming Joella.

That's right what Daniella said. Playgrounds in the open have received ticket purchases. Daniella and Joella queue up to get tickets. Lucky they arrived at the beginning so no need to queue for long.

The first rides they rode were horses. The laughter of the two, playing freely enjoying the rides. Daniella and Joella get off the ride and get ready to try other rides.

The footsteps stopped, under the tree a man was staring at them. The man's hand was holding a rabbit doll. A look of longing was clearly visible on Jonathan's face.

“Daddy,” Og Joella. I never met Jonathan. Daniella never hid Jonathan's photo. He even told photos of Jonathan since childhood to Joella.

Daniella ran over to memorize Jonathan, fearing his vision was wrong. She was standing right in front of her husband. Making sure that was right in front of him was his love.

Jonathan spread his arms, Daniella went straight into her husband's arms. Jonathan hugged his wife. Even Daniella's legs lifted because of the husband's tight embrace.

Joella walks towards her master's parents, and hugs them. Jonathan loosened his embrace. She smiled at Joella, picked up her daughter and hugged her. Then, with a free hand pulled Daniella back to join. The three people who missed each other hugged each other tightly.
