Chapter 47. Licensing

Upon their arrival, Maxwell pulls Joan out of the car. He then saw Andrea walking hurriedly towards Joan.

The slap was really loud and landed right on Joan's cheek. "I just told you to pick up Audrey and bring her home! Why did you stab his friend?! Huh!!!" yates who really can't hold back his emotions.

Maxwell opened the tape that silenced Joan's mouth, so that the perpetrator who stabbed Roman could open his voice. "Speak. The expression of your regret for this Mistress," cried Maxwell with a sharp gaze.

"You want to take custody of Roman. Doesn't that mean you're gonna change her surname, too?"

"No. It is true that I wanted to bring her into my home, and make her a new member of our family. But Roman still has the right to choose to keep his surname" Valerie replied as she turned to the open elevator door.

They got out of the elevator and rushed to treatment room number 37, where Roman was treated medically. "What about your big family? Will they agree?" Andrea gives a series of questions, regarding custody of Roman.

Valerie stopped, right in front of the door. "The decision of the Helsink extended family, is in the hands of the person, who is in front of you," replied Valerie, with the intention of being the decision-holder of her extended family.

Upon entering the door of the room, Andrea finds Roman lying down and falling asleep while facing Valentine. Basic Valerie! Though I also want to bring Roman to live and work in my cafe, Andrea's mind while continuing to look at Roman's face that is closing her eyes.

"Valentine, from now on, Roman will stay with us" Valerie said.

Valentine turned to look at Valerie, and was astonished. "B-b-what about the room?" ask Valentine who almost did not expect the words Valerie.

"Hmm .. Yeah! I didn't even think about her room," Valerie thought as she crossed her arms, and her other hand, propped up her chin.

"What if Roman stays with me?!" sahut Andrea raised her hand slightly up.

"No!" look Valerie and Valentine in unison. They really can't give Roman to anyone else.

"Eeehhh?!" Andrea was surprised by the spontaneous attitude shown by the two sisters.

Rika, who had heard the conversation, tried to open her voice. "Live in my house! That doesn't matter to me. Maxwell will teach him martial arts skills" Rika continued.

"No! That will disrupt your position as head of OSIS. The news of Roman staying with you, will quickly spread throughout the students at school." - Valerie went back and forth - "Maxwell can visit my house, if you want to teach her martial arts to Roman," stir Valerie at length while stopping her footsteps that had been back and forth like an iron.

"Then where are you going to put Roman?!" ask Andrea. He really disagrees with Valerie.

Valerie then stood before Andrea, holding both shoulders. "Andrea, don't worry. I will provide a comfortable room for Roman" said Valerie, who tried to convince Andrea not to interfere in her affairs.

"Hmm .. okay. As long as it doesn't interfere with our friendly relationship, I'll support your decision" Andrea finally accepts Valerie's decision, who insists on taking custody and taking responsibility for Roman.

Rika and Andrea fell asleep while sitting on the treatment aisle seat. Valerie and Valentine are awake while waiting for the Doctor and the nurses to deal with Roman's condition, for the last time.

Valentine was surprised to find his father calling Valerie. He shuffles into Valerie's body and joins their conversation.

📞 "Ayaaah!" Valentine put Valerie's phone to her ear.

📞 "Valentine, is that you?!"

📞 "Then who do you think?!"

📞 "Hahaha! Valentine's my youngest daughter apparently! How are you, baby?"

📞 "I'm fine Well!"

📞 "Haha! Thank goodness son! What about your school? Did Valerie teach you right?"

📞 "Of course, Dad! Valerie's sister is the best teacher in our school,"

📞 "Hahaha! Goody! Looks like she's gonna surpass your mother,"

Valerie grabbed her phone and put it to her ear.

📞 "Dad! Hear me! There's something important I want to talk about,"

📞 "By pleasure, I will listen to my daughter's request,"

📞 "Continue! Dad, I'm gonna take one of my students to stay with us at home,"

📞 "Haaaah?! V-V-Valerie! You're not kidding, are you?!"

📞 "No Dad. It's a very serious matter,"

Albert was silent for a moment.

📞 "What is his name and what is the reason that makes you intend to bring him home?! Let me consider this first,"

📞 "Roman Hillberg. He lives with his mother and sister. However, the calamity had claimed their lives, which made Roman no longer have anyone,"

Albert was silent for a moment, after hearing Valerie's words.

📞 "What about his other family? Her father's family, or her mother's? Are none of them intending to take custody of Roman?"

Valerie then sighed slowly.

📞 "Dad! Listen carefully! Roman Hillberg is the only student to get a scholarship to Saint Luxury high school this year! From the first time I saw her, I thought of you. The child is an angel of science, who will shake his wings in the world of education! Are you willing to let her live alone, if it's the extended family of her father or mother, none of them intend to take care of her?!"

This time, Albert stayed a little longer. It was as if he was contemplating, before making his next decision.

📞 "Good. If you don't think it's harming the Helsink family, your decision is my decision,"

Valerie was happy. Likewise with Valentine who immediately hugged Valerie's side, because he was happy with the decision of the father.

📞 "Dad, thank you. I love you so much,"

📞 "Hahaha! To my dear Valerie, what is impossible! Huh uh?! Ahaha!"

📞 "Alright Dad, take good care of yourself there,"

📞 "And you too Valerie, take good care of yourself and Valentine there. Maybe, in a year I'll be visiting you,"

📞 "Good, Dad!"

Albert disconnects his cell phone call with Valerie.

The two sisters couldn't help but feel happy, as the father allowed Roman to stay with them.
