Chapter 7. Self-Esteem

(Tring... Trings... Trings.)

The sound of the bell resting, ringing clearly in Roman's ears. He watched all the students in his class flocked to the outside of the classroom. After wriggling his body, Roman got up from the chair and became the last student to leave the class.

While passing through the door, Roman is unaware of the whereabouts of Valentine who has been hiding behind him. The girl was intending to follow Roman to the library. He continued to follow Roman's steps, until Rika who followed him from behind also held his shoulders.

"Rika?!! Don't ha—"

"Stttt!!! ... What are you following him for?" rika asked while whispering to Valentine.

"I-I'm .. just looking for the right time, to apologize," said Valentine who kept staring at Roman's back from a distance.

"You must be accompanied!" Rika touched Valentine's forehead with her index finger. "I just want to make sure that the way you apologize is right!"

Valentine thought of the right way to make Roman, willing to forgive his mistakes. He also hopes Rika, his childhood friend, to guide while watching his actions. "Hm... Do you have any advice?" valentine asked while propping up her chin with her index finger.

"For the moment, there is no. We just need to follow him" Rica looked towards Roman. "Come on! Roman turn right!" Rika hurried after Roman who had taken the right path towards the park.

"Hmm!!!" Valentine agreed with Rika's exclamation in an annoyed tone. He who really expects intelligence Rika became half disappointed after knowing the girl did not have any plans.

They also act like detectives. Rika and Valentine follow Roman from a distance, alternating hiding places. The two girls don't realize where Roman really is.

Rika and Valentine have arrived at the end of the hallway which is outside the school garden. Then they saw Roman, who had entered the beautiful garden. Rika rushed while sneaking into the garden bushes and followed by Valentine. "I know where she's going" Rika said as she stared at Roman from the crack of the bush.

"Where? Is the place really that suitable?" valentine asks while hiding behind Rika's back.

"I suggest you don't go there!" said Rika.

"Huh? Wh why? Why would that be?" ask Valentine who was a little disappointed with Rika's advice.

"But, if you insist, fine!" Rika grips Valentine's hand and follows Roman to the library. They hide behind a wall and find Roman entering the library.

"Isn't this a library?" ask Valentine in confusion.

"Hm! Maybe the person we're following right now is my polar genius!" rika said with her innocent face, peering over the walls of the library.

"Roman? A genius?" valentine is hiding behind Rika's body.

"Yes! I wouldn't have expected it wrong! You sure?" rika asked as she looked at Valentine's face.

"W-believe what about?"

"Are you sure you want to enter this library?" Rika kept asking Valentine questions. His attitude had made Valentine half-dead confused.

"T-t-of course!" valentine said with a stammer. They also ventured into the library building. Rika kept walking towards the door while holding Valentine's hand which had been shrouded in nervousness.

Roman had just finished reading a book in an instant. He had felt a bad premonition in his heart, as he walked out of the classroom until the library building arrived.

After closing the book, Roman suddenly got up from his chair and put the book back on the bookshelf. The uneasiness that had haunted him, led Roman rushing towards the back door.

Drowsiness had put Edgard to sleep while waiting for Roman, who was reading his book in an instant. Roman can trick Edgard a second time. Edgard awakens and finds Roman closing the back door. "Roman!!! ... Siaaal!!! ... Next time I can't be helped!" edgard murmured while clenching both of his hands.

After closing the back door, Roman tried to fight his anxiety. He hurried around the building. Roman tried to convince his heart not to rush into action.

Ever since walking towards the library, I felt like someone was watching from behind. Who is that guy? And what does it want? inner Roman.

In order to ensure his vigilance, Roman walked to the side of the library building wall. He then peeked over the wall and was surprised to see Rika and Valentine, rushing into the building. Roman wondered, suspecting that the two girls had been the cause of his misgivings.

What do you want them? Cihh! ... I must hurry, roman murmured inwardly.

He felt annoyed. Interest in reading it was reduced because of the actions of the two girls. Roman then walked through the second-class hallway, and found a handsome, tall student wearing glasses, blocking his way while asking questions. "Hey, you! Have you seen Rika? our OSIS chairman?" ask the second class student.

"Yes. I saw it in the library" Roman replied confidently as he walked away from the disciple.

"Hey ..wait!" the student cheers to Roman who is getting away from him.

Roman hastened his pace. He became even more upset after receiving a question about a girl he hated so much.

Hunger had run through Roman's stomach. He took his body to the school cafeteria. When he turned to the cafeteria, Roman was shocked.

Holy hooch! Why should there be that person?!! Roman is inside him.

Anxiety returned to visit, when Roman found Paul sitting with his friends while filling the stomach void. He who could no longer endure hunger, tried to ventured into the cafeteria storefront.

Whoa! There's bully-an material! paul's inner self after seeing Roman walking past him, Paul realized Roman's walking presence, without looking at him. He also has an evil plan to oppress his underclassman. While chatting with his friends, Paul waited for Roman to finish his order.

With a slightly gaping mouth, Roman was stunned when he saw the price of food on the menu list. He then reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a few coins. The high price of food in the menu, makes Roman grimace. "Is there nothing cheaper?" ask Roman to the canteen officer.

"Nothing! No one ever asked me that question! If you don't have money, whine to your father!" tease the canteen officer.

Roman immediately gritted his teeth while grinning at the arrogant officer. He became angry because he was offended by his words. Having realized Paul's presence behind him, Roman tried to calm himself down. He decided to buy a packet of bread and a glass of soft drink. "alright. I ordered a loaf of bread and a drink" Roman said, putting all his coins on the storefront.

The poor turned out! inner canteen officer.

Roman ignored the treatment of the middle-aged mother. He continued to wait anxiously and found the officer throwing bread at him impolitely. Roman caught the bread nimbly.

Damnit damnit! Just barely! inner Roman.

By putting on a cynical face, the canteen's mother stomped a glass of Roman's drink over the display case, so that the water inside had spouted out. "Go!! From tomorrow on, whine to your mother for supplies!" the mother of the canteen officer.

Roman stuck to his patience when he found the harsh treatment. He grabbed his drink and hurried away. Frustrated, Roman hurriedly wished Paul was unaware of his presence.

Paul who had been waiting for the movement of Roman also suddenly stuck out his leg. He wants Roman to fall.

(Dogs.).

Roman who was in a hurry, found his leg held back by something. He then fell because he could not hold the balance of the body.

(Shelf.).

His body fell to the floor. Luckily his bread and drink fell in a safe position. Roman became angry because of the treatment. He turned his head and found Paul standing in front of him. "Haha!!! You are a poor man!!! Look what he bought!!" paul snapped while standing arrogantly in front of Roman.

The students laughed when they heard Paul's taunts. They also mocked Roman with a loud bang. "How can a poor person be accepted into this school?!!" said one of Paul's friends.

"I don't want to see poor people in this school!" said one of the second-graders.

"Sister Paul! Give him a lesson!" exclaimed one of the first-class students who became a fan of Paul.

Paul then grabbed Roman's bread. He opened the package and took out the bread. Full of spite, Paul tore the bread apart while chuckling in front of Roman. "D-don't!!!" roman cheers as he extended his hand towards Paul.

"Come here! Show me your hunger!" said Paul. He dropped the piece of bread on the floor. "If you still want your existence in this school, come quickly!!!" paul said with a grin while stomping his shoes.

Roman tries to crawl to Paul. He wished he could save his bread that had been scattered on the floor. While trying to reach the bread, Roman was surprised. He saw Paul trample his bread. "Come on! Eat this bread! I guarantee it tastes good!" satir Paul stepped on the bread.

Roman was stunned when he found his bread had been crushed because of Paul's vile deeds. He's helpless. The boy was unable to do much, when he saw his bread become a victim of emotional outlet from his upperclassman.

"Paul!!! Less exciting!!! Give us a great show!!!" cheers of one of Paul's classmates.

Paul took his friend's request seriously. He then grabbed Roman's drink which was still half a glass. After grasping the drink, Paul then approached Roman. The tall young man with long hair and a delinquent-like appearance, with his sterns dousing Roman's head. "You're very dirty. Let me clean you up" Paul said, pouring drinking water on Roman's head.

"Haha!!! Paul is very attentive to him!!" cheers of one of Paul's fan students.

"Paul!!! If you can, take off the uniform!! He is not worthy of wearing our pride uniform!" a friend of Paul's.

Roman kept widening his eyes. With a wide gaping mouth, he did not expect to get a very painful bullying. In order to eliminate hunger, Roman also let his pride wasted, in front of all those who continue to laugh at him.

Roman is increasingly helpless after being the victim of bullying by his upperclassman. He was also in deep sadness. All of Paul's treatment, Roman realized that he was not worthy to attend the school.

I-I turned out wrong place, Inner Roman.
