My Uncle's Warm Bed

My Uncle's Warm Bed
Untrue

Spring is identical to the pastel pink color of cherry blossom blooms in South Korea. Not only cherry blossom which is a sign that spring has arrived, there are other flowers that are no less beautiful and are expected to appear when spring by Koreans.

And the flower is a Canola flower, or in Korean more often called yuchae.

Canola flowers will bloom abundantly to form a stretch of yellow natural carpet. Not only does it display its beauty, it also spreads a distinctive fragrance that anyone can feel just by walking nearby.

The stunning scenery of Canola flowers blends perfectly with the blue sky and turqoise color of the sea. Making a woman so excited ran up the hill, until the cry of a man who walked far behind her.

"Viona, wait!! No need to run, you can get tired later" exclaimed the man who must be Kevin.

"Uncle, hurry up a little. I can't wait to see the Canola flowers immediately." exclaimed Viona as she waved her hand at Kevin.

Viona continued to run, not even she cared about her breathing that was starting to get irregular. Viona was so excited because soon she could see the expanse of Canola that had long been her desire.

Viona's eyes did not blink in the slightest looking at the yellow sea that spanned the vast rug. Canola blooms beautifully, decorating green hills from the west end to the sleeping end, the south end to the north. Bees fly and perch on flower crowns, then fly back somewhere, maybe back to their colony.

Viona.... His eyes could not escape even a little from that beautiful yellow expanse.

"What do you think, beautiful isn't it?" asked Kevin who had been standing next to Viona ever since, he plucked a yellow flower and noticed.

"Beautiful," responded Viona with beautiful sparkling eyes. Then he turned his head to make the eyes of different colors meet each other's eyes. "Look like a wheat field from afar. What a beauty that spoils the eyes." His word.

"Canola flowers are grown for their oil to pick up when they wilt. Also to feed the bees," his hand moved to repel one bee that was about to approach. "But that applies to cultivated Canola, not wild-grown ones" Kevin said without taking his eyes off Viona.

Viona closed her eyes and inhaled a deep fragrance of flowers in her grasp. It was dumbstruck when Kevin suddenly slipped a small canola into his ear. Not suitable, considering that Canola does not only have one bud. But Viona doesn't care.

"Uncle, are you happy when you're with me?" Viona put her head over Kevin's shoulder, her fingers busy playing the newly-chosen Canola.

"Of course" Kevin answered briefly.

"Sama, I'm also very happy when I'm with you. For that I don't want to part with you anymore, I want us to always be together like this. If Uncle has found the right person as your life partner, Uncle mustn't ignore me either, because Uncle is the only family I have." Viona said as she closed her eyes.

Kevin rubbed the woman's head gently and affectionately. "How can I leave you, while you are the one I protect the most. And I don't intend to get married because I want to always take care of you" she whispered softly.

Viona changed her position, she sat opposite Kevin. Both of his hands cupped Kevin's face while locking his cold looking right eye.

"Uncle," Viona's warm breath hit Kevin's face gently.

Viona closed her eyes, fixed her lips on Kevin's lips and gently frowned. Viona doesn't care how the world will curse her for what she did to Kevin. But Viona couldn't hold herself back, and what she did was an instinct that was human. Even though he realized what he was doing was not right.
