Viona sat pensively looking at the moon from her window. Soon the simple start, there will be a lunar eclipse tonight. Viona saw some people sitting outside leisurely and chatting to enjoy the eclipse together.
A small black stain on the edge of the moon began to appear. And some of those people pointed to the sky. Viona also did not want to miss. It's been almost ten years since Viona saw a lunar eclipse, and when she had the chance she didn't want to miss it.
"You waiting for the eclipse to appear?" scolding someone from behind, Viona turned her head and found Kevin approaching her.
Viona noticed the man's appearance from head to toe, there was a difference in Kevin's appearance tonight. It seemed like she had just changed the color and model of her hair, Viona also saw a new tattoo on her right wrist. Like the size of the name.
"Uncle, you're home" said Viona welcoming Kevin. "Uncle, you just changed your color and hairstyle, huh? You look more handsome, fresh and much younger three years than you. And what is this tattoo?" after raising a few questions to Kevin, Viona grabbed the man's hand out of curiosity as to what tattoo he had engraved on his right wrist. "Eh, isn't this my name? why did Uncle carve my name here?" ask Viona curiously.
Kevin shakes. "It's okay. Just want to. after all there is no harm in carving the name of someone valuable is not it?" said chiming.
"Am I worth it to, Uncle?" viona asked while locking Kevin's right eye.
"Stupid!!" instead of an answer, tell me what he got. "Do you still need Uncle to explain it to you, how valuable you are to Uncle." Kevin gave an answer.
Viona gave a small laugh, then leaned her head on Kevin's right shoulder with a straight look at the night sky. The moon begins to close, the lunar eclipse has already begun.
For a moment together they were both colored by silence, not a word came out of the lips Kevin or Viona.
The night air that blows makes Viona's eyes longer, more heavy. And not for long, Viona had fallen asleep. Feeling his shoulders getting heavier, Kevin turned his head and found Viona had fallen asleep. The man sighed, it was only fitting that he didn't make a sound at all.
"You're here" he said, lifting Viona's bridal style body and laying it on the bed, then covering her body with a blanket to the chest.
Kevin did not leave. He sat down beside Viona lying down and looked at her face for a long time.
Look at each curve of that beautiful face carefully. He has pliable eyelashes, a sharp nose and thin lips. It is undeniable that Viona is really very beautiful. I don't know since when Kevin has fallen in the charm of a Viona Zhang.
Kevin brought his face closer and landed a gentle kiss on Viona's forehead, his right eye slowly closing. Kevin let a lip on Viona's forehead for a long time, and after a few seconds Kevin pulled back his face. His fingers gently rubbed his thin cheeks.
"Great dream, sweetie." Soft whisper. Kevin got up from his seat and left just like that, leaving Viona alone in his room.
Xxxx
Scrolls of sweat seemed to pour from Viona's forehead. She looked restless in her sleep, several times Viona shook her head. Word by word repeatedly came out from his lips.
"Uncle, no!! No, I beg you. You can't do it just for me, I know my life is precious but your eyes are precious too. Uncle, for my sake... I beg. UNCLE!!"
Viona wakes up to call Kevin. His breathing was wheezing and his body was soaked in cold sweat.he propped his head on a pillow as he looked out the window. The simple was almost done, but he was already sure he would not want to sleep tonight. It was still too clear all the dreams he had just seen. Both eyes glazed.
He had a very bad dream, a dream so real. Not a real nightmare, rather a piece of Viona's lost memory. Because the nightmares she had were part of her memory that Kevin had erased.
Viona continued to sob in silence. Her tears fell soaking down her pretty face, really... Viona was very sorry for the incident that night. That night, Kevin gave up both eyes in exchange for his life, but luckily help came in time so Kevin did not lose both eyes.
"Vio,"
The loud break on the door shocked Viona. She raised her tearful face and found Kevin running towards her, Viona stood up and hit Kevin 'em in the chest, hugging him tightly.
Kevin felt Viona's entire body tremble violently, and the clothes attached to his body were drenched in sweat. "What's wrong? Did you have a bad dream?" ask Kevin. His fingers rubbed Viona's back up and down. "Don't be afraid, Uncle's here." And whispered softly.
Viona lifted her face from Kevin's embrace and looked at him with an indecipherable look. "Uncle, you're really stupid, so stupid!!" lirih Viona whispered. Several times he hit Kevin in the chest while crying, before finally returning to his arms.
"Don't ever do that again, Uncle. I don't want Uncle to sacrifice for me anymore, I don't want Uncle to be wretched just because of me. I don't want Uncle to sacrifice for me anymore, I don't want to." Viona. Viona shook her head as she tightened her embrace on Kevin.
" Foolish Shit!! For one thing I can't promise you" Kevin replied.
Kevin understands Viona's direction and what she's talking about. Viona brings up the events of a few years ago, which can be said to be the darkest year of her life other than when she lost her adoptive family. Because that night Kevin had to lose his left eye, which made him permanently cacatt.
"But I really don't want Uncle to sacrifice much more for me. It's been enough of Uncle's sacrifice all along, too much of what Uncle sacrificed for me. That's enough, Uncle. No more, I really don't want to." Viona shook her head.
"sorry Viona, Uncle really can't promise you. Moreover, Uncle once promised both of your parents, to take good care of you." Said Kevin softly.
"Was not a promise made to be broken. What if because of the promise it even delivered Uncle to.... I can't imagine a life without Uncle, let alone you being the only family I have." Viona said at length.
Kevin loosened his arms and looked at Viona directly into her Hazel eyes. Seeing the woman's pleading gaze made her sigh.
"All right, Uncle promised." Kevin whispered. However she did not really promise, as she said that just to make Viona calm down. "It's still night, you better go to sleep again. Uncle, will accompany you here."
"Don't go," please Viona.
Kevin shakes. "Not going to."
