CHAPTERS 10. Healing Leindra

Rini felt an incredible heartache. She was always blamed by her mother-in-law. But, in reality it is like that. Because he prefers to marry Rini, Reno is willing to lose all the luxury he has. Right now, Rini also felt guilty towards Reno.

“Basic unlucky carrier woman! It has hurt my son and now you are giving birth to a sick child! I am not willing to finance their treatment!”, replied Ratna who was upset at Rini.

Rini's heart became very sick at hearing that evil sentence. Those kids are his grandchildren, too. Meat blood. But, Rini could not argue. He needs money from his parents-in-law. He forced himself down from his wheelchair. And in the end, he was willing to throw away all his pride and kneel before Ratna. He begged Ratna crying. She also said she would do anything if Ratna would help her children.

Hearing that, Ratna also smiled her smile. He has a brilliant idea for Rini to leave Reno forever.

“Good. But, there are conditions. You have to get out of this town and don't show your face to Reno again! How's it? Can you?”, said Ratna provokes Rini.

Rini spoke a thousand languages. How strong the mother-in-law would be to separate her from her husband forever. How could he leave Reno. All this time they were always together and Rini could not if without Reno.

“Now the decision is in your hands. Heal your children or stick to your ego to be with Reno”, Ratna said provokingly again.

Then, a doctor came to check on Reno. And Rini could only see it from afar because it was driven out by Ratna. Rini again sat in her wheelchair aided by a Sister. Then they came out of the room and Rini begged him to stay for a while.

Rini was crying alone. His heart was broken and his mind was also in turmoil. But there is no time to keep crying. He needs a decision. Decisions he won't regret for the rest of his life. After that, Rini moved in with her two children. And Ratna kept her promise to fund the entire treatment of Rini's children. Rini chose a large hospital that has complete medical equipment. He was so faithful to accompany his children and take care of everything alone. On the sidelines it is not ceaseless she always prayed for her children and also her husband. If you remember Reno, surely Rini will immediately cry. He misses Reno a lot. But, even Reno news like anything he doesn't know. He has replaced HP with his number.

That's how Rini looks strong from the outside but, actually fragile inside. However, he had to stay strong for the sake of his children. If he is strong, God willing, his children are also strong to fight against their disease.

There is good news for Rini. Neina, her daughter is doing well. Indeed, the results of his lungs are small next door. Doctors say it may be a side effect of anesthesia. But if noticed, Neina does not show symptoms such as shortness of breath or others. Everything is normal. Doctors said Neina's lungs would be normal over time and growing. Hearing that, Rini breathed a sigh of relief. He does not stop giving thanks.

And for Leindra, he's going to run chemotherapy. The doctor had prepared everything for Leindra. The doctor told Rini to always be tough and also not stop praying for Leindra's recovery. Doctors will also try to help Leindra recover from her illness.

After months passed, Leindra's condition did not change. Make the spirit of Rini fade. He never stopped crying while looking at the baby who was lying down. Ah, Rini's heart aches to see that poor baby. He thought of the worst possible outcome for Leindra and was very unprepared to lose his son.

Rini then, went to find the doctor in charge of Leindra's treatment. Rini told me about her fears about Leindra. And he asked if there was no other way to cure Leindra? He would do anything for his son's recovery.

“There's one more way. But, this has just been applied to two children. So, this method is still very new. With the injection of genetically engineered T-sel”, explained the doctor.

But, Rini of course did not know what the doctor meant. So, he asked what the doctor meant so that he understood and did not make the wrong decision.

“So, T-cells are a type of white blood cell that can attack and destroy infected cells in the body, including cancer cells. However, we need a healthy donor to take the T-cells, which will be injected into Leindra. Is mom willing to be a donor?”, said the doctor.

There, Rini thought hard. Because this is a new method. And still applied to 2 children even though the doctor told him until now 2 children live like children in general. Yes, this method is said to be successful and very effective. But, is it effective for Leindra too?

Rini is really in a state of concern. What if he makes the wrong decision? Is Leindra going to leave him? But, what if the method really worked and Leindra could be healthy again like those 2 kids?
