CHAPTERS 16. NOT A BASTARD

This morning, Ratna was so eagerly awaiting Reno's return. He prepared so much food. He misses her very much.

However, in the midst of that happiness, Marni as Ratna's domestic assistant came to see him. He told me there was a car parked in his yard. And that's Suri's car.

Ratna clucked in annoyance and was also very lazy. He wondered why every time he was happy there was someone who would disturb him. Ratna walked towards the door, pulling her smile to make her look friendly.

And sure enough, when the door opened Suri was already there. With great kindness Ratna let Suri in. The middle-aged woman who looked so elegant, immediately entered by raising her chin.

“Mbak calm down. I've prepared it. It's just, it's very difficult to persuade Reno”, complained Ratna who is actually sorry to see Reno who continues to be forced.

“All depends on you two. If you still want this luxury, then follow my orders! Because by marrying Yunita can make your child more beautiful. But, if you are not ready you lose all this!”, curry Suri with his evil smile.

Ratna was very angry with Suri's words. He clenched his hands tightly. He looked on and disliked Suri. But, Suri was just ordinary as if he had nothing wrong.

“Where can be so Mbak? Reno is also the flesh blood of Mas Alvin! What he has rightfully belongs to him!”, replied Ratna growled.

“Cih, that bastard will never be able to rule here!” suri replied with a mocking smile.

“Jaga Mommy's mouth! Reno is not a bastard! I got pregnant after Mas Alvian and I got married!”, Ratna's blood was boiling.

“Hahahaha, to me he is still an illegitimate child! The child who was never expected and considered in this family”, Suri replied looking disgusted at Ratna.

So painful Suri's words. It felt like his chest was pierced by a dagger. There was no sadness at the reluctance he said Reno was an illegitimate child. Or at least pity for his son.

“Remember Ratna, during Mas Alvin's life you were just his mistress. Still lucky now you I am accommodating here with a treasure. But, you shamelessly want Mas Alvin's legacy. You should know, Mas Alvin's treasure is only mine!” it was clearly Suri who made Ratna speechless.

Suri then left the house. It was already satisfied that he stepped on Ratna's pride. And Ratna could only cry. He sat on the floor. It feels like his body is very weak. His heart was so sick at such a humiliation.

Indeed, during this time, Ratna and Reno were never considered in that family. But, Alvin has acted to share his wealth also to Reno. Makes Suri unable to accept it. He had no idea Alvin had changed his inheritance by giving some of his property to Reno.

And now, the company that Reno continues to grow rapidly. During this time Ratna always tried to make Reno seem to have the ability to take care of the company as well. Hence, when Reno married Rini who was just that ordinary person, Ratna was very unable to accept it. And worse, Reno to the point of defiance to his mother. He does not care about Ratna's threats by withdrawing all of her facilities if she remains married to Rini. However, Reno instead marries Rini and abandons all her luxuries.

Ratna was very stressed at that time which was constantly humbled by Suri and other families. It's not that he doesn't know himself. She realized that she was only a mistress. But, in the trivial and humiliated every day makes his heart more and more hardened.

He promised to make Reno can exceed Suri's children in all matters including taking care of the company. And when the opportunity came, Ratna immediately made a deal for Rini to leave Reno. That way he can make Reno back to his obedience.

Now Reno, Lucky, Neina and Leindra are in the car on their way to the airport. Sometimes Reno asked about their situation. However, Lucky still looks sad and disappointed. Her heart was too worried about Rini who was alone in her home.

Reno sees her two children wearing the same watch. He remembered things. Reno, curious about the old-school watch, asked Neina who had given it to them.

“Mama, Pa. Why?”, said Neina who was hugging her doll.

“Nothing. What if later Papa buys a new one to replace it”, suggested Reno.

But, Neina shook her head. He disagreed with his father's proposal. Because for him the watch is so special.

“Pa, why don't Papa invite Mama to come with us?” neina asked with her cute face.

Clearly the question made Reno difficult to express. Lucky was very satisfied with Neina's checkmate question. The question represented his heart.

“Yes, Pa. Why did Papa just take us?”, continued Leindra.

“Em, it's because.. because”, Reno replied nervously. “Mama you guys will have a cake shop, so that store can not be just stay. So, Mama does not want to come to”, Reno tries to give up.

“Papa not lie?”, said Lendra who stared intently at Reno.

“No dong, why should Papa lie? Udah ya do not think of it again” replied Reno berkilah.

Boss. The boss said that to the kids. The boss doesn't know what they are. I'm sure they would know that the Papa was lying Lucky said in his heart.

Neina and Leindra looked at each other. Yes, both of them knew very well that her father was lying. Very unfortunate, the level of lies Reno was only for kindergarten children.

Yes, although Neina and Leindra are also studying in kindergarten today. But their intelligence is far above the average of other children. But, the two never showed their cleverness in front of their friends and teachers. And all that was a request from Rini. He was only afraid that Neina and Leindra would have no friends just because they were more special.
